04/03/2025: Unique environment, my home kitchen is bigger, welcoming, intimate, friendly! Wonderful food, I would have tasted everything, good and genuine, from the appetizer, to the rabbit penne and the peposo... exquisite and then the desserts.... The flask of wine took me back over the years.... the glasses, each different from the other like the dishes. The cutlery? If you're missing one, open your coffee table drawer and take it! Do we want to talk about mocha coffee? Highly recommended!!

18/03/2025: An excellent restaurant that is becoming increasingly noticed both for the quality of the cuisine and for the service in the dining room. All the dishes we have tried in our 3 visits to the restaurant have always thrilled and convinced us. So much attention to detail from the kitchen and super welcome in the dining room. The environment is well-kept and relaxing, you feel at ease for a super pleasant evening. Recommended!!

17/03/2025: Nello deserves a star - asap! The food was super creative with a great love for details and unbelievably tasty. Coupled with the amazing service of Chiara, Ristorante Nello manages to create a magic dinner experience that everyone traveling the area should try out. We have been to many Michelin-starred restaurants before that would have a hard time competing with Ristorante Nello! The exploding ravioli and the “by candlelight” dessert are to die for! We will definitely be back!

31/01/2025: Well my opinion is a bit biased because I am the sister of one of the owners. In any case, there is no doubt that it is one of the nicest places in the country, with attention to detail, excellent quality food and loving staff! Highly recommended for a good breakfast, a delicious lunch or a cozy aperitif. Wheelchair accessible.

30/01/2025: A super experience! We took a tour of the cellars, a wine tasting and an excellent cooking class with Eduardo (Eddie). The 14thC Castello is worth visiting even without the cooking class, a great way to spend an afternoon in Eduardo's capable hands. So good we are going back in a few months!

09/03/2025: Welcoming place, simple and essential, courteous and kind service. Nothing to say about the dishes we took, everything was good, including the desserts... we had a good time and had a nice lunch, spending a reasonable amount considering the times we live in.. :)

04/03/2025: Excellent restaurant, dishes prepared well in their simplicity. The starter was good, the first course was slightly undercooked, the tortello was good, but the desserts were excellent. Very friendly service and online account. Must try again.

23/02/2025: If you pass by Spedaletto you cannot fail to stop in this shop. Historic food shop open 365 days a year, and get a flatbread stuffed with whatever you want. Very good and tasty with quality cured meats at a normal price. Frankly I have to say that the quality of things is the kindness of the staff, they make this place a unique place that is no longer easily found around. Frequented mostly by local people who greet each other by name it makes everything a little magical. Highly recommended. Excellent for grabbing something on the go or for snacks.

03/03/2025: In my 15+ years of traveling to Italy, this was probably the worst tasting food I’ve eaten. The service was immaculate, the ambience was perfect, and the menu looked promising - but the flavours simply did not deliver. Agriturismos are meant to showcase local, seasonal, and fresh ingredients. Here, that promise fell flat, replaced by a meal that felt more like a poorly executed afterthought. It started with brioche topped with chicken liver, truffles, and figs, except it turned out to be fig jam. Maybe it wasn’t fig season, but I had checked before ordering. Worse, the brioche tasted stale, dulling what should have been a rich and indulgent bite. Then came a vegetable soup with egg, an uninspired bowl with no seasoning. Bruschetta arrived next, featuring watery, tasteless tomatoes, something I didn’t think was even possible in Tuscany. The duck breast was overcooked beyond redemption, tough and devoid of flavour. I never send dishes back, but this was an exception. And then, dessert, a cake soaked in cloyingly sweet syrup, weighed down by uninspired dollops of cream and a splash of raspberry jam that tasted straight out of a supermarket bottle. Not a single fresh berry in sight. I’ve had store-bought cakes with more depth of flavour than this. To be clear, this doesn’t reflect my opinion of Salvadonica as a hotel, which is a beautiful property, run exceptionally well, with professional and friendly staff. But they really need to do something about the kitchen.

29/12/2024: Tuve una experiencia maravillosa en este restaurante. Para el aperitivo, elegí la “Tagliere della Capanna”, estaba bien, pero espero más opciones locales. Para los platos principales, probamos dos pastas. El primero fueron los ravioles rellenos de conejo, que era increíblemente sabroso. La salsa fue excepcional y complementó el plato perfectamente. La segunda era la pasta con patatas asadas y trufa, que también estaba buena, pero yo personalmente prefería más los raviolis. El ambiente del restaurante era precioso, y el servicio era excelente. El personal era muy atento y amable, asegurando que tuvimos una gran experiencia gastronómica. Además de todo eso, el restaurante en sí estaba bellamente diseñado, creando un ambiente acogedor y elegante. En general, recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante por su increíble comida, gran servicio y un ambiente encantador.
