07/11/2024: We wanted to eat ice cream during our visit to Certaldo at the end of October. Due to the time change, the ice cream parlor didn't open until later, so we had to wait a bit. The owners greeted us friendly and gave us patient advice. There were many delicious varieties and all 5 family members were very satisfied!! We'd love to come back! The price of the ice cream was completely reasonable. We paid around 15 euros for 5 people.

29/12/2024: Locale nel centro di Certaldo. La cucina offre tutti piatti tipici Toscani fatti in casa. Ottila la battuta di carne ed anche le pappardelle al cinghiale. Un po' meno apprezzati i pici al ragù di coniglio. Buoni i secondi e carta dei vini molto varia. Il conto è abbastanza alto, non certo a buon mercato, ma alla fine si è mangiato bene.
12/12/2024: I ate divinely. Extraordinary tartare, sublime Brunello fillet. It's my first review ever, but I couldn't help but highlight the truly excellent quality of the food. Congratulations and I really recommend trying it to anyone who wants to enjoy eating!

08/01/2025: Ottimo il pranzo alla Capannina sul lago la mia scelta cade sempre sul maialino di latte ma tutti i piatti sono buoni con prodotti tipicamente toscani biologici e non .... Ottima come sempre la scelta dei vini...consiglio anche per trascorrere una giornata negli ampi spazi di verde.

28/10/2024: We chose the Cavour 2020, excellent! They have classic pizzas, revisited ones, ciaccini; the pizzas are thin, the tomato is fragrant and not acidic, well filled. The restaurant has few seats inside, but has an outdoor area with other tables. They are also equipped for takeaway. We will be back!

06/09/2024: Unfortunately we were only there for two nights, Patricia and Toni are really great hosts. For German tastes, the breakfast is also one of the best that we were served on our Italy tour. Would come back at any time and recommend the accommodation unconditionally.

19/11/2024: If you pass through Certaldo I recommend you go and eat "AT YOUR HOUSE" in a small but comfortable environment. Delicious starters of cold cuts and cheeses with onion jam. First supers. Typical Tuscan crostoni. And wine in the typical flask. I will definitely return, the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want to taste typical Tuscan food, this is the right place.

22/10/2024: The best pizzas we have ever eaten on our worldwide travels. Thin and crispy base with great variety of toppings on offer, and all at a very reasonable price. It was slightly difficult to find when we went on a rainy night in October as the entrance is through the courtyard of another establishment - but just look for the no. on the wall outside. The medieval vaulted ceilings gave it a great atmosphere and the waiting staff were pleasant and attentive.
Worth seeking out in the old town of Certaldo.

16/01/2024: Wonderful appetizers, first courses in short, I ate super octopus and potatoes as well as the peppered mussels, risotto alla pescatora and linguine with seafood, they arrived dry, fried slightly behind in cooking but edible.
13/01/2024: Great place and great food. A quick and good lunch. I recommend booking.
