12/12/2025: In short... I expected more from this first experience at Godiva. I'll start by saying that I didn't book because it was an impromptu dinner, there were two of us, and we arrived around 10:45 PM. I'd read on Google Maps that they close at midnight. The dining room on the first floor was definitely worth a visit; I found it welcoming and elegant. I was offered an off-menu first course of squid ink and sea urchin; I was hoping for a riot of strong flavors, which, alas, didn't materialize. The pizza wasn't bad, just average; for dessert, a berry cheesecake that was as good as it was tiny. The service... a sore point: we felt like they were breathing down our necks the entire time, more so from the waiter (who smiled, no doubt) than from the owner. A few minutes after they served us dessert without any request, the bill arrived, but we also wanted two amaro liqueurs. Finally, it wasn't at all pleasant to notice that at 11:30 PM they started turning off the lights (we clearly heard the ding of the switches, and saw from the first-floor room that they turned off the lights at the entrance. The bathroom lights have nothing to do with it) as if to say "you have to leave." Upon arrival, all you had to do was say, "Guys, we close at 11:30 PM," and we would have adjusted accordingly. I'm sorry, because I chose you out of curiosity and enthusiasm after hearing about you, but that's not how you make good food, in my very humble opinion. May this review of mine help fill in the gaps, otherwise the customer won't come back. And I don't think that's what you want.

Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a moment of relaxation while fully savoring the flavors of good food!

18/07/2025: So, I've been sitting in this shop for an hour and still haven't gotten my food. As a tourist, you're a second-class guest, it seems. I'm invited and hoping for the best meal of my life, since the shop really isn't that busy, so a long wait would be justified. People who came after us are already leaving. I hate Italy.

17/08/2025: Let me start by saying that my wife and I, residents of Veneto, searched online for a Sicilian restaurant with clear seafood culinary traditions. In fact, amidst an endless sea of offers and reviews online, we decided to trust in "lady luck," seeing our chosen restaurant for the first time only on the day of our celebration. 🤞 Therefore, without prejudice or influence from reviews posted by cybernauts, last night we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Ristorante Costa Corsara, located at Viale Marino, 29 – Isola delle Femmine, and we couldn't have chosen a better place! The restaurant is welcoming, with attention to detail, a location with a maritime flavor and aroma that alone is worth the evening. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed, perfect for a special occasion. The staff was extremely kind, attentive but never intrusive, making us feel pampered from start to finish. We chose a seafood dinner, and every course was a true delight: incredibly fresh appetizers, flavorful first courses, and perfectly cooked and presented second courses. All accompanied by an excellent wine recommended by the waiter, which proved to be a perfect choice. The anniversary cake was carefully presented and complemented by themed details, thus helping to make our evening even more special. A truly captivating gastronomic experience: impeccable quality, service, and atmosphere. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone seeking authentic seafood cuisine and a warm welcome.
