05/09/2024: non puoi pagare quello che prendi perché già pesato alla fonte! Mi è capitato molto spesso che mancavano grammi di mozzarella fino a 40 in confezione da 250. Inutile protestare , loro non impacchettano la mozzarella ma se la fanno pagare come dice la fabbrica.

La Sciara

12/09/2024: Ho trascorso la mie vacanze al Delta hotel dove all’interno ho più volte pranzato e cenato al ristorante la Sciara. Merita veramente almeno una visita, qui è tutto molto equilibrato dal cibo, al servizio ed ai prezzi. Più pranzavo o cenavo al di fuori del hotel e più i sapori della Sciara mi attiravano come una calamita. Un grazie e bravi a tutto lo Staff.
22/08/2024: Tonight, we had dinner at the Sciara restaurant in Giardini Naxos, Sicily, located inside the Delta Hotels Giardini Naxos. We had a wonderful experience until we paid the bill using The Fork app, the same app we used to make the reservation. After paying, we informed a waiter that we had completed the payment through the app and showed him the confirmation on our mobile phone.
As we were leaving, the maître d’ called us back, claiming that we hadn’t paid. We showed him the payment confirmation, but he said that he had requested the cancellation of The Fork’s payment service because it was too complicated for him to manage. We explained that the service was still active and that we had indeed paid, showing him the receipt both on the app and on our bank’s website. He was extremely rude, insisting that the payment was not valid. We couldn’t believe what we were hearing. We told him that we had paid and had proof of the transaction, and that it wasn’t our problem if the service was still functioning. He replied that it wasn’t his problem either.
I suggested that perhaps he should cancel the whole application if it wasn’t delivering the results he expected, but he refused and insisted that we pay again with a credit card. He also told us that we shouldn’t have paid with the app without informing him first. We explained that this was the first time we had made a reservation through The Fork, where the app was still valid for payment upon arrival, and that this experience had completely ruined our otherwise pleasant dinner. After a frustrating and unnecessary conversation, he reluctantly agreed, in a very rude manner, to take pictures of the payment confirmations on our phone.
As we were leaving the hotel, I stopped at the front desk, where the two receptionists, who had apparently overheard the entire discussion, apologized for the maître d’s behavior and confirmed that the payment had indeed been received on their system. Situations like this should not occur, and we sincerely hope that appropriate measures are taken regarding this unprofessional maître d’, who treated customers in such an unacceptable way. We travel a lot around the world, and we have never encountered such an unpleasant situation that ruined an otherwise wonderful dinner.

09/03/2025: Ragazza in accoglienza ed in direzione di sala maleducatissima e scostante. Esterna commenti inappropriati nel rapporto con la clientela. Scoraggia il cliente nei tempi di attesa.
14/01/2025: Cena in famiglia dopo una giornata passata ad Assisi. L' obiettivo era una cena veloce prima di rimetterci in viaggio verso casa, ed è andato tutto bene: una frittura di pesce, due panini grandi con patatine e un menù bambini. Servizio rapido e attento, ma location un pò dispersiva e minimal. Qualità di quanto provato nella media, quindi ne ha risentito il rapporto qualità prezzo non proprio soddisfacente. Carina l'idea dell'ampia cucina a vista. Non eccelso, ma neanche male.

IL PIZZAIOLO MANGIA PIZZA MA NON LA CUCINA
20/08/2024: Sembrava di essere nel talk show ‘cucine da incubo’.
Una gestione veramente confusionaria benché ci abbiano consentito di cenare su nostra richiesta in modo veloce attesa una particolare serata stromboliana afflitta dalla pioggia.
Abbiamo preso tre fette di carne (vitellina anche discreta) una verdura alla griglia ed un caponata e pagato la bellezza di 115€ in contanti e senza specifiche.
Personale poco attento ai clienti (un bidone della spazzatura era dietro il nostro tavolo oltre a fazzoletti buttati all’aria).
Una esperienza surreale per un prezzo assurdo (e meno male che non abbiamo preso vino).

I am editing following the response I was given. I regret to inform you that despite yourself, no, we were not given any estimate of waiting times, which seems obvious to me because I would not have written a review on something that was reported to me and to which, according to what was reported to you , I would have accepted. Secondly, the "pizzas" that we couldn't order because they were finished, as his staff said, to the other customers (who arrived after us, I'll tell them so they can't get confused this time) were supplied calmly. Having said this, if the negative reviews following this terrible management seem to you to be a targeted attack on your business, I'm sorry but I would advise you to get better information and instead of responding in a sterile and pedantic way, you would be better off apologizing
ps. one pan pizza was half raw, and the other overcooked 🥰

Good evening, first of all I would like to start by telling you not to call me Miss because I have not given you consent to address me with this type of confidence, as you reiterate to me that my "friends" and I have been informed of the waiting times, I too will be happy to reiterate that no, we were not warned in any way about this wait, because if that had been the case we would have left, I inform you that we asked several times during the evening for explanations about the waiting times and we were told vaguely and unprofessional (otherwise we would have left with pleasure, but unfortunately, not knowing the waiting times, we didn't want you to put your order in the oven in vain, we don't like wasting food) and it wasn't just us who said this, but also all the other tables close to ours, if you don't know how to manage the extraordinary nature of the event you would be better off standing aside and not accepting a new table, or rather new tables that like us have waited more than an hour. As for the pizzas that arrived after us, it also seems a little ridiculous to reiterate that I'm not talking about booked tables but about people who sat down WITHOUT RESERVATION (I'll write it big so you don't get confused) but about what you serve or not served I don't pay much attention.
Regarding your "ps", I thank you because you warned me that it was a focaccia and not a pizza, as we were told instead by the girl from whom we took the order who made us order, according to her, a "pizza a pan", I thank you because I only discovered it today, even though we noticed it while we were eating but in the end after almost two hours we ate the same (ps. one was overcooked and one was raw because of different flavours, too bad for me as I didn't take a photo )
Finally, in this review there is no "inconsistency" as you say, if for you a complaint from one of your customers about a poor service received seems disrespectful, I'm sorry, it would have been enough to be clear and polite.
