15/04/2026: Ate here 3 nights ago. I had the fresh tagliatelle with ragu which was very tasty and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. I paired it with a glass of red wine that was recommended by the server and it didn’t disappoint. The decor is very tasteful and the bar stocks a wide variety of drinks for cocktails etc. Antonio who looked after me, was friendly, chatty and very personable. Overall a very pleasant experience.

22/03/2026: The best restaurant during my two weeks in Sicily.
My girlfriend and I were staying in Agrigento. Eager to explore the hinterland, we found this restaurant on Maps, quickly called, and showed up half an hour later.
Let me tell you, it was one of the most wonderful impromptu experiences we could have had.
The owner, Lillo, welcomed us with wonderful appetizers and a truly enchanting cheese platter.
He stopped to tell us about his past in Piedmont, my homeland, and his challenge to open the restaurant in the 1980s.
It was the turning point of the day. A lunch marked by conviviality, hospitality, and the wonderful food that only this region can offer.

03/03/2026: I'm in Caltanissetta for work and found this place on Maps. The place is cozy and well-decorated. The owner and waitress were very kind and friendly. We ordered a breaded black pork rib, a tagliata with arugula and parmesan, and an appetizer. Everything was really good, and you can even choose directly from the butcher's counter.
The prices are fair and reflect the quality. I recommend it!

04/05/2026: An extraordinary pizza, served without mozzarella, as I'm allergic. And the local beer "Seme Dorato" pairs very well with it.
18/02/2026: It's been a long time since I've been to Rustico because I live out of town. The kindness of the owner, Mr. Umberto, has remained unchanged over the years, the pizza is always delicious, we had a really great time. Congratulations!!!

As for the food, the pizzas arrived a bit cold and didn't seem fresh from the oven. The overall quality is decent, although looking at the photos and reading other reviews, I admit I expected a little more.

05/07/2026: I had an excellent experience at Calanotto. The food was truly delicious, with carefully prepared dishes and quality ingredients. The atmosphere is beautiful, welcoming, and pleasant. Kudos also to the service: the staff was kind, attentive, and professional throughout the evening.
The only issue I would like to mention is the road to the restaurant. Especially at night, after dark, access can be a bit awkward and poorly lit, so be careful.
Overall, a very positive experience: it definitely deserves 4 stars, and I would gladly return.

02/04/2026: A superb welcome, authentic and very local if you're looking for the real Sicily. Escalope just like my grandmother's and a half-liter of wine with the same flavor as my uncle's in the Marche region.
The price was more than reasonable for the culinary experience.
I highly recommend it.

28/04/2026: – Experience ruined by smoke
Unfortunately, I can't give more than 2 stars, and the main reason is just one: inside the outdoor area—completely enclosed with glass walls—practically many of the guests were smoking freely.
The situation was unbearable: the unbreathable air made it impossible to enjoy the evening. Furthermore, an outdoor area with closed walls is comparable to an indoor environment, so the rules prohibiting smoking in public places should apply there as well. I reported this situation to the staff, but the response was "that's just how they do it"!
It's a shame, because the place may have its merits, but in these conditions, it's impossible to give a clear assessment. Let's hope for improvement.
26/04/2026: The food is excellent but if you have to order takeaway you need to heat the food up a bit.
