The best restaurant during my two weeks in Sicily.
My girlfriend and I were staying in Agrigento. Eager to explore the hinterland, we found this restaurant on Maps, quickly called, and showed up half an hour later.
Let me tell you, it was one of the most wonderful impromptu experiences we could have had.
The owner, Lillo, welcomed us with wonderful appetizers and a truly enchanting cheese platter.
He stopped to tell us about his past in Piedmont, my homeland, and his challenge to open the restaurant in the 1980s.
It was the turning point of the day. A lunch marked by conviviality, hospitality, and the wonderful food that only this region can offer.

We were a group of 5 people, and we got seated immediately. The service was good this a warm welcome from an old Italian man 🤌 and an English speaking woman.
Opinions on the food were mixed.
Carbonara: it tasted like it contains cream 3/5, it was decent.
Pasta al Pomodoro; I liked it (from a French person).
Meat stuffed ravioli in butter sauce:
- Friends review; portion was to small, Muslim friendly, taste was okay 6/10
-My opinion as a small person; the portion size was good, the butter sauce tasted great. A little strong with the sage, but it was tasty. 7,6/10.
Tldr: 7,7/10. Good service, good food, good time.
