19/09/2023: Dopo aver constatato su internet che era aperto mi son messo in macchina ed ho guidato per ben 1 ora e mezza, sorpresa sorpresa ho trovato chiuso, ho provato a chiamare ma le utenze staccate... morale della favola ho dovuto sopportare l'inc...... di mia moglie e.dwlle mie figlie , rimettermi in macchina per rientrare e cenare con un pò di pastina in brodo perché mia moglie nn mi ha rivolto più nemmeno la parola... che delusione P.S. ho dato una stella perché il meno 5 nn si può dare!!!!

26/05/2024: I'll start by saying that the waiters were very nice, but as for the food (which obviously isn't their concern), only a negative experience. They were warned weeks in advance of the presence of a vegan person (me) asking not to present the usual banal menu, but we were not listened to. They served me the classic grilled vegetables that were almost unseasoned and raw (I had been expressly asked not to do them), pasta with sauce, pasta with a tasteless liquid potato cream and little potato roses where honestly you could feel the presence of cheese. When I asked for confirmation for the latter I was denied the presence of derivatives but I felt it too much, so much so that I left the dish. In addition to being ethically vegan, I have a very strong lactose intolerance, so I also risk getting very sick. A risotto (which can be mixed with vegetable margarine, not just butter), some vegetable meatballs, baked potatoes and who knows how many other things I can name would have been appreciated, instead of the usual dishes that I can very well eat at home and even make them tastier . What can I say, yet another restaurant in the area that is light years behind when it comes to plant-based nutrition.

Ask for dessert and they bring you slices of English salami on their own initiative, without asking the question of whether anyone might have an intolerance. A restaurant that does not have good bitters or dry liqueurs to close the dinner, but only pseudo-liqueurs, loses all the good things it puts on the table. This restaurant is one of those. The rest is enough. I don't recommend it.

31/07/2024: Stopped here for a lunch break between the southern and northern Sicilian coasts, we were pleasantly impressed by the quality of the food and the quantities which, despite other reviews read, are anything but scarce... on the contrary. The environment is very nice and the welcome from the two owners, father and son who work with passion to carry on the traditions of local cuisine, was truly pleasant. Lastly, the price was absolutely honest. PS: I recommend the famasa salad, with the young caper shoots that we didn't even know could be eaten, processed for 15 days as tradition dictates.
