15/10/2025: A first dinner, I was served three pieces of cooked eggplant without any seasoning. When it came to paying, the owner was very unpleasant and haughty. We went back there tonight for a drink, there were only three tables occupied, the waitress approached, didn't come to see us, didn't clean the table. And observed something in the street, for at least 10 minutes with her colleague. After a while we asked for the menus, this greatly bothered the waitress, who brought them to us. And we waited another ten minutes, they did nothing but didn't serve us, they served another couple who arrived later. We decided to leave. Only VERY bad address in Noto. The other addresses are very good, with very pleasant staff. Avoid this place

14/10/2025: Nice ambiance, but the biggest culinary disappointment in Sicily. Breaded squid rings from the discount store and overcooked, flavorless tuna. You really can't do that.

07/10/2025: Nice bar with snacks and drinks. Self-service. Chairs and tables, unfortunately, behind a wall. Not on the beach.

17/09/2025: The staff were cheerful and helpful. The young woman with a Neapolitan accent was truly kind and patient. Reasonable prices given the location.

01/08/2025: Accueil et service catastrophiques. Personnel et responsable arrogants et irrespectueux, à la limite du tolérable . On nous a demandé 4x si on voulait le restaurant ou la pizzeria en sous sol . Le repas était bon , mais ce comportement gâche tout . Les tables avec vue sur la magnifique terrasse ne sont pas accessibles au commun des mortels. Je déconseille fortement ce restaurant .

30/07/2025: Visited Granduca in July 2025 on the anniversary of our wedding. Especially especially as we had our wedding meal here 22 years ago to the day. First issue was they couldn’t find our booking despite us going in a week earlier and booking our table. That was sorted and we were sat in a very nice seat overlooking the bay. Food was good, not brilliant but was okay. Service was shocking. So unfriendly, unwelcoming and downright snobby. We will not be returning.

09/06/2025: Classico posto con qualità veramente bassa e prezzi altissimi dove l’obiettivo è solo quello di “spennare” il cliente. Spiace quando una realtà locale si trasforma in un luogo inavvicinabile. Probabilmente il format qualità bassa e prezzi così alti ha come target i turisti ignari di tutto. Sarebbe bene stare lontani da posti così. Da evitare!

05/06/2025: Service lackluster. The orange fennel salad had a green worm (Alive and still crawling) in it. Regret I did not take a photo. Told the uncaring female server who suggested it could have flown in (it is CRAWLING, 0.8cm at best and no way it can fly or carried by the wind). She shrugged. Zero apologies. Stay well clear of this place.

16/08/2025: Let me start by saying I work with the public. A month ago, I went to this bar to get a takeaway iced coffee, served in a water glass, and it was fine, costing €2.50. A few days later, I went back to buy the exact same product, but once at the checkout, I paid €3.00, which made me wonder if I'd been mistaken for a tourist, given all the people coming and going at the station! Today, I paid €2.50 for a small onion with a card, when the price tags on the counter say "tavola calda" (hot food) €2.20 and "arancino" (arancini) €2.50. I asked the employee how much the hot food cost, and he embarrassedly told me €2.50. And the price tags??? What are they for? Or do you increase the price as you please based on how "Catanese" it seems, or do we have a surplus when we pay by card? I don't understand. It's not done.

16/08/2025: They set the prices on the spot and based on how you pay, whether you pay in cash or by card! They want to rip you off every time. AVOID THIS BAR!!!!

12/09/2025: Honestly, it could be better. The prices are high for the quality. I ordered the "mozzarella and spinach" arancina. The mozzarella was nonexistent, and the arancina was excessively dry. The staff was kind and helpful, but it's not enough for a fine dining establishment. Honestly, I wouldn't go back :(

26/08/2025: The stuff was nice, the place is cute at a beatiful piazza, we had coffee, coke and pizza (frozen and topped with some ok ham - but we didnt wxpect much to be honest). Overall it would be pretty nice experience, but the toilettes were crazy unpleasant, no toilet paper, ugh.

25/04/2025: Extremely rude manager. They say they are open when in reality the place has been closed for some time. April 25th fasting!!! Avoid!!!

25/08/2025: Beautiful location, but rude, uninterested, and incompetent staff. It's impossible that in the middle of August there's no way to heat up a plate of roast potatoes, so we had to eat them cold. The restrooms are appalling, management definitely needs to be changed. The location has great potential, but it's not being fully exploited.

17/07/2025: Esperienza particolare!! Diciamo subito che prenotando in una taverna ci si aspetta un ambiente rustico/caratteristico in tutti i sensi. Questo però non deve compromettere la professionalità e competenza del personale, che in questo posto è tutto dire! Alla richiesta della carta dei vini ci è stato subito detto che i prezzi erano più o meno tutti uguali. Nessuno però aveva richiesto informazioni economiche… nel frattempo ordiniamo. Avendo al seguito tre bambini chiediamo la gentilezza di poter fare subito i primi per i bimbi. Grande efficienza sennonché si dimenticano di uno dei bambini. Nel frattempo arrivano anche i nostri piatti, che devo dire buoni alcuni,scarsini altri e confusi nella sequenza. Arrivano un po’ di antipasti , poi i secondi e poi il resto degli antipasti😂. Siamo sul finire della cena ma la bimba dimenticata continua ad aspettare. Tentiamo di intercettare uno dei camerieri, meno sudaticci, che corrono avanti e indietro, ma niente. Dopo varie richieste finalmente arriva anche il primo per la bimba. Cena finita! Uno dei pargoli però ha bisogno di essere cambiato, ci sarà il fasciatoio in bagno? Ovviamente no! Il gestore ci dice: “signò non si preoccupi lo cambi sul tavolo”. 🫣🫣 E per finire diciamo pure che i prezzi non sono proprio da taverna!!! Concludendo, posto consigliato a chi si aspetta un posto “colorato” a prezzi non proprio modici.

08/07/2025: Os pratos são bem servidos, sempre dá para 2 ou 3 pessoas, sendo assim, o preço acaba saindo mais em conta. Os peixes foram bem feitos, mas a parte dos vegetais estavam sem sabor e nadavam em óleo. O atendimento é ruim... pessoal muito confuso, erraram no nosso prato.

24/10/2025: Excellent experience, definitely worth trying again Especially the pizza: perfect dough, excellent cooking, and fresh ingredients.

17/10/2025: We had a very pleasant evening here - this place is casual non-pretentious and relaxed. We had lasagne, salad and deserts. Salad was fresh and tasty. We loved the ice cream in a cup too. With beer and wine and a reasonable bill - what is there not to like?

14/08/2025: Stop for lunch. Appetizers: fish, seafood salad, mussels First courses: all seafood, spaghetti with clams, risotto. Second courses: fresh fish and fried foods. Wine, water, coffee, liqueurs. Excellent lunch, excellent location and service.

18/07/2025: la terza volta che prendo un pezzo di tavola calda ,questo era con spinaci acidi e pomodoro acido,alle 7 del mattino credevo che fosse fresca,ma credo che era almeno di 2 giorni fa! Mai piu

15/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati per gustare una pessima granita di caffè con panna e brioche, che io non ho completato di mangiare in quanto il sapore non era gradevole, abbiamo preso un caffè bruciato anche questo lasciato a metà, per fortuna aggiungerei perché nonostante questo sono stata male tutta la mattinata preferendo non pranzare, mio marito invece è andato due volte in bagno. Avrei potuto sospettare una mia indisposizione ma considerando il malessere di entrambi potrei imputarlo a qualcosa che abbiamo mangiato. Da non riprovare
