25/05/2025: I didn't stay at the hotel but only had breakfast so my opinion is partial. Good guys but they seem to me not very prepared for the bar service, I found them (awkward) unprofessional. A nice bar 🍸 done with style a bit cold the welcome for a structure of this kind it takes much more professionalism a smile 😅 😀 never hurts! Good croissant cappuccino district is not just putting milk in a cup the technique is missing! For the rest I reserve the right to try again in a few days to share my experience with everyone and I'm not an improviser. SQ

01/05/2025: In response to your response on the review prior to mine. We didn't question your team, if you read the review carefully I wrote that the staff was good and the food was good. You must pay attention to what I wrote, namely that the menu is unclear: if you write to me drinks and wine INCLUDED it means that I can ask for as much as I want otherwise you would have written "ONE GLASS OF WINE INCLUDED". It is obvious that we were shocked when the bill arrived, it should have been €27 per person and instead it became €40 (and the difference is not €7 but €13 per person). Premise. Each table was made up of more or less 6 people and the bowl of wine you put at the table was only for two. I would like to underline that my family was NOT intoxicated by the use of alcoholic beverages, NO ONE attacked or surrounded the female dining room maître d', they simply tapped her on the shoulder because she turned around while she was talking to a customer so I would say that we didn't even jerk her, in fact it was she who got agitated and we told her to calm down. Furthermore, I don't see that I didn't pay the extra, in fact I think we even gave more than we should have. I hope that my review was useful for improving yourself because you have to accept even negative reviews, not just the rosy ones and I don't think I was the only one to have written one. 04/06/2025: Eravamo un gruppo molto numeroso e abbiamo ordinato l'opzione giropizza. Le pizze non avevano un bell'aspetto, l'impasto era duro e colloso, molto pesante. Antipasti fritti tutti surgelati, ovviamente. Molti di noi sono stati male, probabilmente per gli ingredienti scadenti o perché qualcosa era andato a male. Pessima esperienza, vergognosi.

17/05/2025: Vale la pena andare in questo locale specialmente per la pizza con il bordo ripieno, ottimo impasto e ben digeribile. I gusti sono un po' particolari, ma ci sono anche le pizze tradizionali. La location è carina ma il locale si trova un po' fuori dal centro. Prezzo giusto e servizio cordiale

05/05/2025: Locale ottimo e atmosfera super ad un passo dal teatro Massimo. Aperitivo cenato molto ricco e gustoso. Hanno una vasta scelta di prodotti gluten free e sono tutti squisiti. Prezzi ottimi e personale gentilissimo.

04/05/2025: Il locale e’ giovanile a due passi dal teatro Massimo. Personale gentile. Il tagliere di apericena compreso di drink era abbondante considerato che in altri locali si mangia molto meno ma non giustifica il prezzo esagerato di 18€, negli anni aveva un prezzo inferiore. Le cose da mangiare sono semplici varie e tipiche siciliane: formaggio e salumi ( proprio 2 pezzi), panelle e crocche’, patate, coppa di pasta ecc

26/05/2025: Location carinissima praticamente sembra una palafitta in riva al mare. Servizio rapido e cortese. Pesce buono così come gli antipasti dolci non provati. Comunque stra consigliato. Ah dimenticavo prezzi modici considerata la location! Bravi

21/04/2025: The food is good but I asked for a glass and the answer was: "No, I don't give tea or water to you" Then another boy came in and also asked for water, but in this case he was served. I hope that the behaviors performed change because it does so with all those who are "unlikeable". Otherwise I will be forced to leave other negative reviews with other accounts. Thank you. Terrible food, horrible place and rude staff to say the least!! Absolutely DON'T GO THERE!!! The hygiene conditions leave something to be desired.

18/05/2025: Definitely a great location for its proximity to the beach. Spacious and clean room. Daily change of bathroom linen. Unfortunately, we report, regarding the managers, the lack of attention and availability. We asked to bring forward breakfast by 30 minutes on a specific day when we had an organized tour, and it was denied. Poor choice at breakfast, and no willingness to provide a simple vegetable milk, which my friend had to buy. No aptitude for this type of work, as there is a complete lack of empathy, initiative and interest towards customers. Not recommended.

20/05/2025: Cibo eccellente e atmosfera accogliente! Siamo stati in questo ristorante per cena e siamo rimasti davvero colpiti. Piatti deliziosi, ben presentati e preparati con ingredienti di qualità. Il menù offre una buona varietà e ogni portata è stata un piacere per il palato. Il personale è stato cortese, attento e sempre disponibile. L’ambiente è curato e rilassante, perfetto per una serata tranquilla. Assolutamente consigliato, torneremo volentieri!

22/04/2025: Grazie ai nuovi proprietari Alina e Alberto, il Pirata si è trasformato in un ristorante di altissimo livello, dove il pesce fresco ne è il protagonista principale. Materie prime di altissima qualità, cucinate sapientemente come la vera tradizione marettimara merita. Un plauso va anche a tutti i collaboratori, attenti, ma soprattutto veloci nel servizio. Torneremo sicuramente!

Pesce più che fresco, cucinato in modo esemplare con semplicità e ricercatezza, La stessa dei cura dettagli dovuta all'estro creativo e femminile di Alina, la proprietaria che con grinta e disponibilità riesce ad accoglierti come a pochi ho visto fare insieme ad Alberto, suo marito isolano di nascita, ricercato e attento che con passione coniuga il suo ruolo di ristoratore a quello primordiale di pescatore attento e appassionato. Se avrete la fortuna di approdare tra le braccia di Marettimo, fermatevi al Pirata e non perdete per niente al mondo quest'esperienza di grande impatto qualitativo.
