20/05/2025: Bruttissima esperienza con Glovo. Ho ordinato una Finch Italo arrivata tutta sbrodolata e senza grana padano. Oltretutto nell’immagine la fa vedere con rucola sopra. Ho pagato on Line, non ho ritirato la pizza ma l’ho solo aperta davanti il fattorino di Glovo che si è rifiutato di tornare indietro e comunicare il disappunto. Non ho avuto né pizza né soldi indietro. Una perdita, una serata quasi digiuna e stress.

15/02/2025: Last night on the occasion of Valentine's Day we had dinner in this little restaurant, it's not very big but it's welcoming, the owners and the guy who served the tables were very kind and professional. Last night's menu was excellent (great Chef), all hot and of good quality, both my friends and I were really happy and satisfied. I highly recommend it! Thank you, we will definitely be back.

12/06/2025: Avoid the fish of the day. I paid Euro 50 for a small circa 300gm Sea Bass. I love good fish but hate being ripped off. I was told it was 500gms. Manager very unapologetic.

17/05/2025: Everything was tasteless! The orange & fennel salad looked like my 6 year old granddaughter put it together. They give you tasteless balsamic to put on it and salt. Grotesque! The pasta with sardines was just awful. I’ve had it twice before while visiting Sicily this week. I’ve had great pasta with sardines. This pasta was mushy - the manager gave me some BS that it’s homemade asta so it’s not Al dente. BS! Even the bread is tasteless. So many better places to eat!!!! I wasted a night in Taormina!

17/05/2025: Outdoor zone offers a nice Taormina vibe. Spaghetti seafood is well balanced, not too salty, and Tiramisu is yummy!

27/05/2025: Old place needs total renovation, still stuck in 30/40 years ago, Do not order the Ricci as an appetizer 7 sea urchins for €10 Small and Empty MONEY WASTED, to take only the Pasta al CANTASTORIE with clams mussels and sea urchins for €20 I must say Good and al Dente even if I do not think they use Pasta like Rummo or Garofalo so definitely to be improved! Service to be improved too, polite parking attendant!

20/06/2025: I find some reviews a little harsh on this hotel. When I arrived (very late) the receptionist welcomed me well, I found the room very presentable, clean. Indeed a slightly old-fashioned style but that's what makes it charming. The bathroom is quite modern on the other hand. The lobby is very pretty. The pool is a big plus during the hot weather, not too crowded and it's easy to swim and enjoy the sun. On the other hand, the breakfast in the mornings was not the best (little choice) but it does the job to last the morning. Regarding cleanliness, the cleaning staff come every day. It is true that the elevator is not great, very narrow and old, plus there is only one. But taking the stairs doesn't hurt sometimes 😉 The location of the hotel is not ideal, the streets around are dark at night and the roads/sidewalks are not maintained, but otherwise you can find nice restaurants very close and the beach is a 15 minute walk away. In summary, the hotel did not disappoint me, some elements need to be reviewed but these are only details.

17/05/2025: Very run-down and dated hotel, the photos on the website do not correspond to the current state of affairs. Very dated furniture and very noisy doors. Upon arrival the fan in the bathroom did not work, which was also blind, repaired the next day, a light bulb was missing in a lampshade, the air conditioning only worked at maximum, a constant background hum could be heard in the room. Very poor and poorly cared for breakfast. And I had taken a superior room...what can I say, to be avoided.

06/05/2025: had lunch at this restaurant on 3/5/25 group of friends on motorbikes The owner was very helpful and asked to cook lunch for us even though the restaurant was closing ate typical dishes and appetizers first second wine water coffee fair price, everything was delicious Thanks to Giuseppe and his wife

29/04/2025: Excellent quality restaurant, characteristic, welcoming and comfortable. The food is exquisite, true delicacies for lovers and connoisseurs of local and genuine products. The managers are equally exquisite, kind, friendly and very helpful. We will be back soon

08/06/2025: Very good pizza. The staff is quite friendly. The place is very small inside while outside it has several tables. It is advisable to book.

04/05/2025: They opened 30 minutes earlier especially for us, but the opening hours on Google were also wrong. We quickly received two delicious plates of pasta and were served very warmly.

07/05/2025: Io e mia madre siamo state trattate con sufficienza e sprezzo da parte della cassiera, motivo per il quale purtroppo mi tocca dare un giudizio estremamente negativo. All’ingresso mi rivolgo a tale signora, la quale era intenta a chiacchierare con una cliente invece di lavorare, in risposta ricevo una mano alzata che mi dice in sostanza di stare zitta senza aggiungere magari uno “scusa arrivo subito”. Prendiamo due caffè, chiedo di usare il bagno e mi viene detto che è inutilizzabile perché allagato. Due secondi dopo vedo la stessa donna sprezzante accompagnare un’altra cliente al bagno “inutilizzabile”. Che peccato.

06/04/2025: I highly recommend the place... the ice cream is excellent... Courtesy, Kindness, complete the very pleasant atmosphere of the Cubana... The external veranda is nice.

14/06/2025: A place that does not reflect the quality of the food. PHENOMENAL mussel soup. They had tuna milk available and offered it to us, it was delicious (even knowing what it was!). Very friendly staff, homemade liqueur offered at the end really YUMMY!!!

24/05/2025: I often came to eat at this place during the year, but last night I was very disappointed by practically everything. The pizza was not bad, but you can't serve pizzas with a dirty ash underneath due to a dirty oven, but above all they served me a pizza on a broken plate where the edge of the plate was missing. Something absurd, never seen in my life, and then after having reported all this to the owner I asked for the bill, the total was 55 euros and 55 euros he made me pay something out of this world. Of course I won't come again. Those who work can obviously make mistakes, of course, but too much is too much. SHAME

19/06/2025: Dopo circa un ora di attesa arriva la pizza, bruciata sui bordi e sulla parte sottostante. Viene rifatta, altra attesa. Prezzi decisamente più alti rispetto alle pizzerie della zona.

25/05/2025: Scelto per cenare in famiglia al ritorno verso Trapani da Palermo. Location impeccabile, panorama mozzafiato sulla baia di Castellammare del Golfo. Ottime le pizze, la Trapanese top. Hanno anche mozzarella senza lattosio. Alcuni di noi hanno scelto primi, risotto Quetzal, e busiate con i frutti di mare, ottimi e saporiti. Se andate la sera portate le giacche, si sta freschi. Consiglio vivamente
