01/09/2025: Dinner in a secluded and very romantic corner of a small square in Ortigia. Dishes cooked with love and generous portions, delicious octopus! The owner is friendly and kind. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

15/08/2025: Too bad! A very nice and quiet place found via The Fork. Tables under a 14th-century building. The food, however, was nothing special: The grilled octopus was chewy, and the pasta with pistachios and shrimp lacked flavor. The guy who served us was nice and kind. I hope they can improve; the place has great potential!

23/07/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo ristorante e siamo rimasti molto contenti. La pasta alla Eoliana era ottima come anche il pesce. Il servizio veloce ed i prezzi nella media. Ci simo poi ritornati una seconda sera e non ci ha deluso.

12/07/2025: Torno ogni anno da Don Piricuddu a Vulcano, ed è sempre una garanzia di qualità, freschezza e calore. Questo posto ha davvero qualcosa di speciale: l’atmosfera familiare e il pesce, sempre freschissimo e cucinato con maestria da Fabio. Ogni piatto è un viaggio nei sapori autentici delle Eolie. Dai crudi alle linguine all’astice blu: tutto è preparato con passione e rispetto per la tradizione locale. La gentilezza del personale e la cura nei dettagli rendono l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. È il mio appuntamento fisso ogni estate, e ogni volta riescono a sorprendermi. Un luogo dove si mangia benissimo e ci si sente a casa. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca il meglio del pesce in un angolo di paradiso!

18/07/2025: We only tried an excellent granita with brioche. The cream was excellent. The service was fairly quick. It would be nice to install some air conditioning in the covered building overlooking the street.

18/07/2025: We chose this restaurant/bar due to special needs, especially with my celiac son. It's really hard to find a well-equipped and, above all, well-prepared restaurant. There's always the fear of contamination. Fate brought us to this place, where we were welcomed by Laura, a very kind woman who took care of my son and, in fact, all of us. We ate wonderfully. The bar is also well-stocked with gluten-free products, a joy for us. We truly felt at home. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely be back.

01/09/2025: Vegan review: A very welcoming place, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu offers six vegan options, a real treat for those looking for plant-based options. I tried a sandwich, which was very good, and the fries were also tasty and crispy. The place is large, with plenty of tables, but I recommend making a reservation because it gets very busy. In addition to sandwiches, they also make pizzas and have an excellent selection of craft and unique beers, suitable for all tastes. Recommended!

13/08/2025: The place is welcoming, and the pizza is average, with no particular flaws, but nothing surprising either. The only negatives are the service, which is a bit slow, and the fact that they don't handle separate bills at the cash register. This can be inconvenient, especially when you're in a group with friends, where you often want to split the bill evenly. This would be a significant improvement worth considering.

26/10/2025: Very bad. For a piece of bread with provola cheese, today at the October stand in Floresta, they initially charged 4 euros and after a long wait, they demanded 5, taking advantage without restraint and without a receipt. The provola cheese melted inside the measly piece of bread looked like rubber. 🤮

26/05/2025: Ho prenotato in questo ristorante per via della mia laurea a Catania, assieme alla mia famiglia...nonostante non ci fossi mai stata mi sono fidata delle recensioni positive e che dire,tutto perfetto! A partire dell'abbondante antipasto composto da minimo 8 portare,per non parlare della freschezza del pesce,sia crudo che cotto...e due primi da leccarsi i baffi,soprattutto la pasta fresca con spada e melanzane,una delizia! Personale gentilissimo e disponibile,a gestione familiare,attenti alla qualità e freschezza dei prodotti...Di sicuro se tornerò a Catania sarà tappa fissa!

18/05/2025: Ho visitato tanti ristoranti rinomati nella mia splendida Catania, ma come qualità e freschezza dei suoi prodotti trovo il ‘ristó delle provincie ‘ difficilmente eguagliabile.. da provare la burrata al gambero rosso di Marzamemi e le ostriche 5 stelle, insieme ad altri prodotti eccellenti, la gentilezza e la professionalità del personale unica..top!

01/08/2025: Terrible experience. The tomato in the Margherita was poor. Making a good Margherita is the foundation. The only positive note was the waitress (not the owner), who was kind and cheerful. I'm sorry to have to leave this review, but it's unfair to offer this type of product considering the price paid.

20/09/2025: I visited this restaurant a few Sundays ago, and I must say I wasn't even familiar with the area, even though I live in the province. Upon our arrival, the waiter immediately brought us tons of sodas. After a few minutes, our order was taken, and everything was served promptly. The dishes were plentiful and varied, with plenty of appetizers, three first courses, and, if I'm not mistaken, two second courses. The place is very welcoming. One flaw is the lack of a sea view; given that it's located in a seaside town, I would have expected a much wider view. Otherwise, I was very satisfied. For those who want to explore tourist areas like the Valley of the Temples, this place is a short drive away.

04/09/2025: A simple yet welcoming restaurant with a rustic style. The staff isn't particularly friendly, but they're happy to take reservations over the phone. The place is small and doesn't have air conditioning, so reservations are recommended and it's best to avoid lunchtime during the summer. The food is tasty and the portions are generous. The prices are quite competitive.

05/09/2025: The place is pleasant and well-stocked. I really like that they have two counters, one for drinks and one for snacks. Lea, Eva, and Simone (and the other staff, whose names I don't know) are very friendly. Congratulations!

15/10/2025: We stayed just one night, it was beautiful, the property is immersed in a forest of chestnut and apple trees, everything is cooked by the owners, it feels like being in a fairy tale!

23/09/2025: We couldn't have chosen a better place for our first experience in the Etna National Park. Laura and Giuseppe were spectacular hosts... The farmhouse, nestled in the greenery of the park, was a heavenly place to unwind from the daily grind. We all had a great time, even our 5-year-old son and our 6-year-old dog. Highly recommended!

16/08/2025: Excellent trattoria in a narrow street in Scordia, a town near Catania. The interior is cozy and intimate, and in the summer they open the tables outside on a quiet street. The meat is excellent. Everything is delicious.

28/07/2025: The REAL SICILY is here. It feels like home, the guys are friendly and welcoming, and the food is spectacular. The local products are top-quality, the appetizers are delicious, and the caponata and sweet and sour onions are delicious. The meat, especially the horse meatballs, are exquisite.
