03/05/2025: Very disappointing experience. I went to the "Chiosco dei Colli" on May 1st for a picnic with friends. The place is nice, with wooden tables and seats, but for 23 euros I was served a miserable menu (the mixed grill consisted of a small knot of sausage each and a skewer of chops...) The most unpleasant thing, however, is that, despite having paid and consumed there, I was denied the possibility of using a bathroom for the child, with the excuse that "they don't have it anymore". I find it absurd that an establishment that serves food on site does not provide a toilet, as required by law. I will not return and do not recommend it, especially to families or people with healthcare needs.

06/04/2025: Very bad. Unjustifiably expensive. To be avoided. Supplement of €1 for the choice of having the dish on the plate (plastic) to be added to €8.50 for 4 cutlets and 2 lettuce leaves. I leave aside the quality of the poor chops in terms of quality and quantity. Very disappointed. I'm sorry because I respect other people's work.

02/06/2025: They can try Cannavacciuolo. I don't know about the food, we didn't eat, because after an hour and 15 minutes of waiting from the order we left, because they served three tables of customers who arrived after us. A place to avoid.

08/03/2025: Focaccia con impasto poco lievitato e troppo colloso, ma la vera "sorpresa" sono stati gli arancini: nessuna traccia di ragù, ma salsa di pomodoro con cubetti di würstel e pochissimi piselli! Non credo nemmeno si possano chiamare arancini. Un insulto per Messina.

31/05/2025: A place to avoid. If they see that you are not "one of them" and that you are a tourist, they will immediately try to set up some scam to your detriment. It was me and two girls, the guy who served us only spoke to me, the two girls were absolutely not taken into consideration by him. He was playing at being nice and was a shrewd masked. He showed me the veal which is practically similar to the Florentine steak and I told him clearly that one was fine. After almost an hour of waiting, he brought us 3 steaks... We were shocked also because in a very unprofessional way he continued to deny the fact that I had only asked for one steak. We understood that he was not very intellectually gifted and also a great charlatan, but how can you think that 3 people, and especially 2 girls, eat a steak each? Finally, it should be specified that the steaks were raw, he did not even ask us what type of cooking we wanted. Luckily his manager had the 2 steaks that had not been requested taken back. A place to avoid like the plague, they shamelessly make a fortune on tourists like all places in Catania.

27/05/2025: Never eaten horse meat so good, tasty and cooked to perfection for me who am a lover of rare cooking. Spartan and genuine environment, courteous staff, absolutely not touristy. Popular prices, vegetarians abstain 😏

16/06/2025: the cashier is very rude and never makes separate bills even though I explicitly ask for it, creating problems in dividing the amount to be paid. I underline that she has always done this for at least 3/4 years.

17/05/2025: Highly recommend! The best homemade pistachio pasta we’ve had and great bruschetta with pistachios. The lady who greeted was so so nice and made our whole experience of Bronte special. Amazing hospitality and incredible food

16/05/2025: We came to bronte during siesta time, of course nothing was open. The lady was kind enough to open it just for us and made us the best pasta in the world. I could not recommend it enough. The restaurant is nothing special aesthetically but trust me the food is worth it
