Dinner in a secluded and very romantic corner of a small square in Ortigia. Dishes cooked with love and generous portions, delicious octopus! The owner is friendly and kind. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

10/05/2026: Although we only had 2.5 days in Syracuse, we ate here twice for lunch! The restaurant is colorful, artistically designed, visually stunning, and authentically located right in the middle of the market (of course, it's loud, not clean, and chaotic at the market – that's part of the experience). The pasta scoglio and the mixed antipasti were especially excellent and will stay with us for a long time :)
29/04/2026: This noon we had the mixed Antipasti plate which was good. Fritto misto was ok sind the sardines were very small. Swordfish and gamberetti were good but not special. But what we have seen at the table next to us we couldn’t believe, but may this normal in this area: they served arancini with ragout and white rice inside. I haven’t seen this before and I always eat arancini wherever I can get some. And always there were yellow risotto inside. Moderate prices.

Returning to the Cava Grande restaurant is a testament to our success every time: a true guarantee! 🌲 A Dream Location The location is simply extraordinary. Eating surrounded by the splendid panorama of the Cavagrande lakes adds a touch of magic that makes the meal an unforgettable experience. The view outside the restaurant is rejuvenating, a true paradise for the eyes. 🍽️ The food was impeccable from start to finish: • Appetizers: Rich and authentic. • First and Second Courses: Superb food quality. • Dessert: A special mention! On Women's Day, the owner was so kind as to offer it. A classy gesture that demonstrates truly rare customer care. ⚡ Impeccable Service Despite the restaurant being completely full, the dining room was managed perfectly. The wait times were absolutely reasonable, and the staff remained efficient and friendly despite the crowd. In summary: If you're looking for great food, a breathtaking view, and a warm welcome, this is the place. We'll definitely be back and recommend it. P.S. Great value for money!
