02/03/2026: A very nice restaurant on a lovely street in Alghero! The staff were welcoming, kind, and professional, and were TOP!! We had the "paeja," as they call it. It was delicious, the fish was excellent, and above all, fresh. The only downside was that the paella was a bit pricey. Despite all the seafood being top-notch and super filling, €30 per dish is a bit too much. I recommend eliminating the sausage from the mixed paella. In any case, this restaurant is absolutely worth eating at!

01/03/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Alamo, an excellent restaurant in the center of Alghero. The service was impeccable, with highly trained and helpful waiters. As for the food, it was excellent. I recommend trying the tasting menu, which includes a sampling of almost all the restaurant's appetizers, their magical and abundant paeja, and finally dessert, which for us, of course, was their delicious crema catalana. We were truly surprised and felt pampered because we complimented the chef, who thanked us by letting us try another appetizer! I recommend making a reservation because the restaurant was packed. The only downside is that it's very small and seats are limited for its size, so it was a bit noisy. Overall, the experience was very positive.

02/10/2025: We can recommend it without reservation! Super friendly service, everything delicious, pizza very crispy and even with fresh tuna! On weekends or when it's busy, you sit at long tables and meet new people. Very friendly! The house wine (white) is a very light, good wine! Shoutout to Graziano, who helped us out in an emergency and didn't accept any money 🥰

When you sit down, you are surrounded by a soft murmur, candlelight and the scent of freshly baked pizza and garlic that slowly fills the air. It is warm, intimate and completely stress-free. The food is rustic and self-evident. The pizza has the perfect balance between crispy bottom and soft middle, the pasta is generous and full of flavor, and each dish feels prepared with respect for tradition rather than trends. A glass of wine in your hand, stones under your feet and time that suddenly doesn't matter. You stay here for a long time. Talking a little quieter, laughing a little more, letting the evening take shape. Lu Furat is not just a restaurant – it is part of the soul of Alghero, where food, history and presence merge into something you take home with you.

23/08/2025: Excellent Sardinian dinner!! In the silence of the countryside, we enjoyed excellent traditional dishes. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every dish. Everything was truly delicious, but the suckling pig was SUPERB! Perfectly cooked and with super crispy skin! Kudos also to the super kind and welcoming owners! A truly excellent evening. 17/08/2025: A fantastic experience. If you want to experience a farm stay where you can savor the authentic flavors of Sardinia, this is definitely the place for you. Giant portions prepared with ingredients of undeniable quality, and a super welcoming and helpful staff.

02/01/2026: Lunch January 1, 2006. Generous servings from appetizers to desserts, everything excellent, especially the suckling pig and lamb. The wine was also excellent. Staff were available to meet all needs. Animals were well-kept in large spaces. Playground for children. For food intolerances and allergies, the menu can be arranged by arrangement. I recommend it.

01/01/2026: We went there for lunch on January 1st. Everyone was very friendly, the food exceeded our expectations. The suckling pig was perfect, the appetizers were plentiful, the first courses were good, but I would have tried the fregola instead of the lasagna. The mutton was excellent, and the desserts were too generous; I could have done with much less. I'm only giving it 4 stars because I didn't expect to spend 4 hours and 15 minutes at lunch, and then I ran away. No offense to the owners, everything was super appreciated, but we didn't expect it to take so long. Unfortunately, we missed the sunset at Capo Caccia!

12/03/2026: Tasty, high-quality food, typical Sardinian but above all original in its combinations. The wait wasn't long at all; even though I went on a Saturday for dinner, I ate my order almost immediately. The prices are commensurate with the quality of the food and the service provided. The place is very welcoming, intimate, and warm, although a little difficult to find for non-locals...you have to park your car and walk part of the way (over cobblestones) because it's located in a narrow alley.

03/01/2026: Unfortunately, we were misled by the reviews. First, the cleanliness: a plate arrived dirty, the glass too, and what about the bread basket... It can't all be by chance. Then, for the antipasti (equivalent to a starter), the octopus... €14 for a tiny portion, and a rubbery octopus at that. Then the mussels, 1 kg... Yes, 1 kg of shells! There was hardly anything to eat, and the broth was so salty... The service was excellent, the waiters attentive.

28/09/2025: My husband and I went out for dinner. We ordered grilled fish, octopus, and other seafood, which tasted exactly like it. Interestingly, the cozze were ice cold. We were informed that they would pass it on to the chef. After such a terrible meal, I wanted something to eat, so I ordered linguine with cozze. I received cold and undercooked cozze. We asked the waitress and told her the cozze was cold. She looked at me like I'd fallen from the moon. She took the food and didn't touch it, even though I asked her to touch the shell and check the temperature. A moment later, she returned with a slightly better version of the dish. I ended up eating only pasta with tomato sauce. I wholeheartedly do not recommend this place.
