The waitress is very friendly, and the service is fast. The best recommendation is that many locals come here for takeout pizza. I recommend it!

The churrascaria concept offers top-quality cuts of meat, served directly at your table on a traditional spit by attentive and highly professional staff (the aprons bear the name "Asador"). Each piece of meat was cooked to perfection, juicy, and flavorful. ​To accompany our dinner, we chose an excellent bottle of Rocca Rubia (Carignano del Sulcis), an intense Sardinian wine that paired divinely with the bold flavors of the meat. The cocktails and the small details designed for special occasions were also noteworthy, as were the attention to detail, from the professional carving knives to the graphic details on the leather menu. ​The atmosphere of the restaurant is magical and elegant: the outdoor area, surrounded by bamboo, palm trees, and softly lit by lanterns, creates an exotic and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a summer evening. 05/06/2026: When you dream of finding that one amazing restaurant while you're visiting Italy... you've found it, it's Taberna Santona. I walked in on a Friday evening not long after they opened. I'd read many great reviews and was nervous that the place would be fully booked, but to my surprise there was a choice of tables both inside and outside. All the staff spoke Italian with me and one server even kindly told me I spoke well, which I really appreciated because it means a lot to hear that from a native speaker. Everyone was pleasant, no one seemed impatient or uncaring. Tourists were treated as kindly as locals. Staff checked in a few times to see how everything was, including the owner (I think) who seemed genuinely pleased to hear that people were enjoying their food. I had the insalata normanna, which was an interesting mix of things i never would've thought to combine in one dish, but it worked very well. I thought the onion was a little overpowering but that was a minor detail. I then had the couscous Carlofortina which was also quite good. Both dishes were light yet still enough to make for a solid meal. Everyone raves about the chocolate cake, rightfully so because it was so good I got a second piece to bring with me. Get it with caramel and whipped cream. I'm not normally a caramel fan but i impulsively said yes when asked if i wanted it. this caramel tasted divine, not like it came from a jar. All the desserts are homemade too. The people seated next to me were talking about how delicious the panna cotta was. Places like these are what you'll remember months and years after your visit, and i hope to be able to come back soon. Grazie mille per tutto 😋🍽🩷

10/06/2026: Simply perfect! A small, traditional Sardinian restaurant with high-quality dishes to share (or not 🤤). The chef is very friendly (thank you for the tips on cooking the guanciale!) and the food is excellent (special mention for the risotto). The total price is a bit high if you order several courses, but it's definitely worth it. The menu is only in Italian, but with the chef's explanations or ChatGPT, you can manage perfectly well 👍🏻 Thank you for a lovely time.

10/06/2026: We stumbled upon this place almost by chance. It's a small place that serves traditional Sassari cuisine at a very reasonable price. You can order several dishes per person, allowing you to try as many different dishes as possible. And, on a positive note, we were offered complimentary digestifs and coffee. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

29/05/2026: We ate at this agriturismo at the end of our stay. We received a very warm welcome. The typical Sardinian dishes were hearty and delicious. All for €40 per person, including drinks. I highly recommend it.

04/11/2025: The restaurant is located in a place with a fabulous view of the northern part of Sardinia. There are few restaurants that have such charm. The cuisine is absolutely top. It surprised me with delicious combinations and left me with an unforgettable experience. The service was professional and I could communicate fluently in German, English and of course Italian. I highly recommend it, I will definitely come back here.

Will definitely be back to this place during our stay in Alghero.
