21/07/2025: I've had the pleasure of dining at Griglieria Simona in San Teodoro more than once, and I can say it's been a truly fantastic experience. The food is excellent: the porceddu is simply delicious, cooked to perfection, accompanied by crispy potatoes that complement the dish impeccably. The beautiful and friendly staff is the true highlight of this restaurant. They are all very professional, kind, and friendly, always ready to make your visit special and recommend the best dishes. Their hospitality and infectious smiles make the atmosphere even more welcoming. 20/07/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant serving traditional Sardinian cuisine, and we were thrilled. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm, and full of traditional details. The real star of the evening was the roast suckling pig: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, accompanied by a delicious Cannonau, recommended by the waiter. The service also deserves special mention: the staff were friendly, attentive, and never intrusive, always ready to accommodate every request with a smile, especially Alessandro. Highly recommended!

18/06/2025: Our favourite restaurant in San Teodoro! We first visited twice in September 2022, we recently returned & ate here 3 times during our week’s stay. The cozze were incredible, as was the spaghetti al vongole & seadas. Cannot fault it, brilliant service & fantastic food at great prices. Can’t wait to return!

13/07/2025: Stunning scenery, a very kind owner who also offers guests free parking right next to Lu Impostu beach. We had both lunch and dinner, and it was both perfect. Lunch prices were slightly lower than dinner. Friendly and professional service, good ingredients, and beautifully presented dishes. Well done!

09/07/2025: Hotel Sandalyon is run by wonderful people, especially Chiara, who welcomed us with kindness and courtesy, always available to answer any questions despite the busy schedule, as she was also busy waiting tables during dinner. Giorgio, too, was very elegant in taking orders and recommending wines. All the staff were also very friendly, including Caterina, the breakfast lady, Annalisa, who serves at the bar, and Alessandro (if I remember correctly), who also works at the bar but also waits at dinner. Not to mention the excellent room service, with daily change of towels and bathrobes. The hotel is strategically located, very close to the beautiful La Cinta beach and the center of San Teodoro (a beautiful town, a real gem). The speed of table service during dinner is noteworthy, with always a varied and appropriate portion size. If I may offer just one piece of constructive criticism, it would be to change the way cappuccino is served at breakfast from the machine, which often requires waiting in line. In other 3-star hotels, the classic cappuccino from the bar was served directly at the table. It's definitely worth considering for your next (hopefully soon) vacation in Sardinia. P.S. They also accept dogs, like our poodle, who was given plenty of cuddles and petting by both Annalisa and Alessandro, and we know that animal lovers have different sensibilities. However, it must be said that my wife and I always try to be polite and respectful of other guests, who may not appreciate the presence of animals around the hotel. We're also lucky because our dog is also very well-behaved; she didn't bother anyone at all; in fact, almost everyone smiled at her. Thank you.

06/07/2025: Beautiful Hotel with a perfect location about 200 m from a beautiful beach with clean sea. We had half board, food for a three-star hotel is good. The room is great, there is everything you need. Wonderful friendly staff!!! The only thing that surprised us was that they charged 10€ per person for showering after check-out in a dirty shower behind the hotel, see the photo, that's why I give only 4 stars

03/07/2025: Triku is a guarantee, my boyfriend and I came for a lunch at the seaside knowing Triku restaurant in Olbia and we found the same quality. Very good food, fresh fish and honest prices. Excellent quality of service and beautiful location. Thanks to Loredana and her staff for the beautiful experience

09/07/2025: This was, hands down, the most disappointing meal we’ve had during our entire stay in San Teodoro — and we’re genuinely upset about it. It started with the Sardinian bread: normally a lovely touch, served in a basket alongside fresh varieties. Here, it was just dry sheets of pane carasau, carelessly stacked on a plate. It immediately felt uninviting. I had ordered Gnocchetti, which usually comes with sausage, and asked to have it with plain tomato sauce instead. What I received was a dish so bland and lifeless, it could’ve come straight from a supermarket jar. No freshness, no seasoning, no care. My partner’s dish, supposedly a Sardinian specialty with sausage, was no better — the meat was tough and full of gristle, and the sauce lacked any noticeable flavor. We barely ate a third of it - and then the plate was taken away without a single question. Nobody asked if something was wrong, nobody seemed to care why the dish was barely touched. The Service in General was disappointing. Our water was inexplicably poured into wine glasses (despite water glasses being on the table), and we were not offered fresh glasses when the wine arrived. Our plates were cleared without a word, and moments later even the bread was taken — while we were still sitting and finishing our drinks. That’s simply not the kind of hospitality we’ve come to love in Italy. The staff felt distant and emotionally absent — like we were just part of a routine. Mass processing, not hospitality. And finally, we were charged the full €18 for my meat-free Gnocchetti — the same price as the original sausage version — despite it being just tomato sauce and pasta. That is an absolute cheek!! It’s rare that we leave a restaurant genuinely upset — but this felt careless, overpriced, and completely soulless. Definitely not a place we would ever return to.

27/07/2025: Un locale che dal punto di vista del “ vestito “ mi sarei aspettato di più, invece no. Silvio, nome del titolare, e’ un persona positiva che ha il senso del cliente, ma la signora che ci ha accolto, penso la moglie, un dobermann sempre arrabbiato che ci ha accolto molto male, mai un sorriso, una carineria, un vero disastro!!! La cucina come tempistica, abbastanza efficiente, cade sul prodotto. Le pizze mi sono sembrate precotte, una uguale all’altra, ho chiesto una semplice napoletana che aveva almeno 3 cucchiai di capperi e qualche pezzetto di salice di scarsa qualità !!! Il torroncino una spremuta di zucchero!!!! Avrei voluto protestare con Silvio. Ma ho pensato che non di meritava questa mia arrabbiatura, che rimane grave!!! A non più rivederci e se posso dare un consiglio. Silvio fai fuori la Signora sempre arrabbiata della Cassa. La gente lo nota parecchio.

17/06/2025: The hotel is right on the beach! That makes it a bit far from the center, but having breakfast overlooking the sea on the sand is priceless. They have a hearty breakfast buffet, with delicious dishes prepared in their own kitchen. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Maria and also to Stella, the tourist information officer. She advised us on all our excursions and went above and beyond for us. She's kind and attentive to every detail. We love her! Without a doubt, a place we want to return to.

30/07/2025: The restaurant is in a good location, with parking, and has an elegant feel. Unfortunately, the staff act like they're there as a punishment. They're sulky and casual. They serve you with a single lemon slice for a bottle of mineral water, you have to ask for salt or olive oil, and at the end, at the checkout, they ask for your table number, and they don't have name tags... sorry, I don't recommend it.

30/07/2025: My friends and I went for dinner. The service was perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were treated really well, not to mention the food was truly excellent. We thank Paolo and his colleagues for their excellent hospitality and professionalism. Highly recommended for families and young people alike.

15/07/2025: Ottimi cocktail, accompagnati da stuzzichini buonissimi. Abbiamo preso un tagliere, ricco di ottimi saluti e formaggi + qualche altro stuzzichino. Qualità veramente ottima. Consigliato.

07/07/2025: One of the few places open at 7 in the morning. Alice and the other girl at the counter and serving are very sunny and kind. And also the owner at the cash register. A smile is always a good way to start the day! Especially if accompanied by a croissant and a cappuccino! I managed to find some very good vegan brioches and also a very good soy cappuccino. Thanks for the beautiful and good breakfast.

08/07/2025: Rude useless staff, got asked to move tables as weren’t eating 🤷🏼‍♂️ this then confused them with our drink order which we warned them would happen. So we then left. We didn’t have food I imagine it was shit anyway

03/07/2025: I couldn't get a better pizza in Germany, even in a "real restaurant." I had the Piuza Boscaiola for €10. I would eat and order it again and again!
