11/03/2026: 10 of us arrived, all satisfied. The pizza was delicious, both in terms of the dough and the very fresh products, much better than many renowned places in Cagliari 😉 Congratulations.

Marcello and Anna are excellent hosts, always kind and helpful. Special mention goes to the waitress, who is always top-notch in her friendliness, professionalism, and kindness.

Ristorante L'Ambasciata

23/03/2026: I didn't expect it to be so beautiful. L'Ambasciata is a small, charming hotel in the Marina district, one of Cagliari's liveliest and most authentic neighborhoods. Its central location makes it worth the stay.
The rooms are small—only ten—and each is dedicated to a Sardinian beach. The attention to detail is immediately apparent, as are the cleanliness and comfort. I slept great.
The staff was friendly without being intrusive, always available to offer advice about the city. Breakfast is simple, but good and varied.
In short, it's one of those places where you wake up in the morning and are happy to be there. I'll be back.
21/03/2026: My room was large enough, cosy and clean. Only the bathroom need some renewal, especialy the shower. The hotel is near for everything. The heating system worked well. I didn't like the rooftop door was always open and I always closed, because it was a bit cold outside. The staff was kind.

05/07/2026: I think for pizza, the restaurant offers some nice options. However, I don’t recommend ordering the seafood (even the calamari). Our dishes (eg. gnocchi) tasted very, very fishy, and I’m aware it’s seafood but it lacked the freshness and the spices that come with it.
The people and the atmosphere were however very pleasant!
29/06/2026: We stayed in Costa Rei for over a week and ended up having dinner here almost every evening. It’s a lovely little family-run restaurant with fantastic food.
You may have to wait a bit for your meal, but it’s clear they prepare everything fresh and do their very best. Despite being busy, they always made us feel welcome.
Everything we tried was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. We ended up trying almost everything on the menu, and there were several dishes I ordered more than once. Absolutely fantastic!

06/06/2026: An experience to forget. We had reserved a table for 9:00 PM. When we placed our order, we were told we'd have a wait of about 35 minutes. The pizzas didn't arrive until 10:45 PM, after an hour and ten minutes of waiting (and almost two hours after we arrived). To make matters worse, one of the pizzas even arrived burnt. When we pointed out the interminable wait, the waiter justified it by saying, "Saturdays are always like this." I find this response an insult to the customer: if you can't handle weekend seating, reduce your reservations. Serving burnt food after an interminable wait and brushing off the problem with this feigned normality demonstrates a total lack of professionalism. We will never set foot in there again.

with the
new lobster promo 35%
We have to say that the food was all fresh and tasty, with generous portions.
The mussel appetizer was delicious.
Two first courses: seafood fregola and clam spaghetti.
Fresh Catalan-style lobster.
And a sampling of mixed fried fish.
We finished with a sorbet and coffee.
The owner served us very kindly and attentively.
Like all the staff,
we'll be back soon.
08/06/2026: I ate pizza, it was delicious, with the company of karaoke, I recommend it.

19/09/2025: The waitresses have always been polite to us. From what I gather, there are only two of them, unless there's a major event, when there's more staff. There are plenty of tables, both inside and outside. The food was served quickly and was good! The pizza gets a solid 8.5/10 :) The spaghetti alla bottarga is a bit too boring in my opinion (besides the pasta and bottarga, I didn't taste anything else there), but I didn't have anything else to compare it to. I've had better tiramisu. We went three times. The radio was always loud in the background.

02/06/2026: We dined at this restaurant on a Monday in June. We recommend it for both the food and the very kind and friendly service. We ate the suckling pig despite the difficulty finding it in various restaurants. The setting is simple but elegant, and the atmosphere is serene.
15/05/2026: If I pay €18 for a plate of pasta with sausage and tomato, I expect either a huge portion or excellent quality. Unfortunately, we found neither. The location is very nice and the waiters very friendly, but the food has the quality of a bar but the prices of a fine restaurant.

12/07/2026: We visited this spot several times during our stay in Cardedu to end the day with an Aperol Spritz or two. From the slightly elevated terrace, there's a lovely view of Spiaggia Baccu e Praidas or the neighboring Spiaggetta. The staff were always very friendly and efficient. And after our extensive tasting, we'd say they serve the best Aperol Spritz in the area.

28/07/2025: The place looks and feels like someone’s basement, there is a terrible smell which makes it impossible to sit comfortably and enjoy your food, and I saw all of one cat. It is also very small and dark, as there were only two small windows and the place was cramped. I immediately left and bought a water bottle out of courtesy which cost me €2, ridiculous for a bottle of water. Would not recommend, do not waste your time.

12/07/2026: Very nice place, even if a bit hidden. My experience wasn't exactly positive.
The wait staff was very friendly, but the food disappointed me. The seafood grill was poor, one shrimp, one mini cuttlefish, and one tiny fish. It could have been enough for one person, but everything was so salty and inedible. My wife had fried calamari, also incredibly salty and inedible. As soon as we finished, we were all hungry, so we asked for pizza, which, unlike the rest, was delicious. It's a shame because it's very nice.
