22/05/2026: During our visit to the Padre Pio Shrine, my friends and I went to this restaurant for dinner that evening, but the food didn't live up to the warm welcome. The pasta sauce was a bit too acidic, and the pasta itself didn't drain well. The pizzas were well-seasoned and cooked well, but the dough wasn't very good.
We also tried their homemade desserts, but in my opinion they were definitely industrial and tasteless. We were a bit disappointed.

25/02/2026: A pleasant surprise! Last night, my friend Alfredo Di G. invited me to dinner at this wonderful, previously unknown place.
The host, Giuseppe, was very attentive, courteous, and above all, extremely knowledgeable about the ingredients he offers. We ate wonderfully and drank divinely. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it... TOP place.

My husband and daughter and I went here tonight. We already knew the place, and after years, we found the same warm welcome and excellent quality. Spectacular staff and an exceptional restaurant.

25/11/2025: A great place for a family evening. In the summer, there's also a lovely outdoor area separated from the main area. The food is good and the prices are average. They can also host children's birthday parties, though there are obviously no games.
24/10/2025: Misleading advertisement for half-liter non-alcoholic beer. I came to this pub and noticed their advertisement for a 0.5L non-alcoholic beer. When ordering, I asked for the advertised half-liter non-alcoholic beer. To my surprise, I was served a 0.33L bottle/glass for the same price as the 50cl one.

02/05/2026: My mother was initially admitted to the neurology department and then to the abdominal surgery department. She was hospitalized for about a month, and she was discharged today. Our family experience makes me think that being a doctor is a mission...being one with kindness is a rare gift! All the doctors were very kind, especially in the neurology department, where we spoke with Dr. Costantino, while in the abdominal surgery department, our closest contact was with Dr. Bottalico. Aside from these two doctors, with whom we had the most contact, all the staff we interacted (in both departments) demonstrated the utmost professionalism and helpfulness, which are not always a given, especially when coupled with such kindness! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

24/06/2025: Di passaggio a San Giovanni Rotondo, ho pranzato in questo locale rimanendo deluso; credo che l'ideale sia avvalersi del menù fisso a 20 Euro, comprensivo di acqua, primo e secondo. Dico questo perché il primo piatto era una bella porzione e, a dire dei mei commensali, era anche gustoso, quindi con l'aggiunta del secondo piatto di carne, il pranzo diventa soddisfacente. La pecca è stata per me poiché non gradendo la pasta ho preferito il menù à la carte, preferendo un antipasto di salumi ed una grigliata mista di carne: ebbene mi è stato servito un misero mix di salumi composto da 3 tipi di affettati (2 fettine per ogni tipo) che definire di qualità scarsa è un complimento. Mi era stato specificato che non erano prodotti del territorio ma nazionali, ma mai avrei immaginato che la qualità fosse così scadente.
Il secondo piatto, una grigliata mista, mi viene servito esattamente come quello previsto per il menù fisso, quindi neanche 200 gr. di carne, ovvero una mezza fettina di vitello (mezza perché è tagliata a metà), una e dico UNA salsiccia ed un quarto di fettina di maiale: tranne la salsiccia, buona, il resto da dimenticare sia per qualità che per la cottura.
A fine pranzo ho dovuto mangiare un panino altrove avendo comunque speso più di 25 Euro; do due stelle perché i mei familiari hanno espresso una leggera soddisfazione in più.
