During our visit to the Padre Pio Shrine, my friends and I went to this restaurant for dinner that evening, but the food didn't live up to the warm welcome. The pasta sauce was a bit too acidic, and the pasta itself didn't drain well. The pizzas were well-seasoned and cooked well, but the dough wasn't very good. We also tried their homemade desserts, but in my opinion they were definitely industrial and tasteless. We were a bit disappointed.

Excellent value for money. Located right next to the church. We would have expected much higher prices near this holy pilgrimage site. Service and friendliness were outstanding for such a busy restaurant. The pizza is highly recommended. We ate there again the very next day.

I was worried about a low rating, but we had to eat somewhere late in the evening. It turned out that the dishes we ordered were delicious. The buffalo pizza and spaghetti al ragu were very tasty! The salads were okay, but we asked for extra olive oil. The service was very friendly and attentive to customer needs. A pleasant surprise after reading previous reviews.

Reviewing this place is a must! I travel a lot, but I don't like places with tourist menus. I see them as low-quality places with rather high prices... I'd rather have a basic sandwich shop... and INSTEAD! I was intrigued by Antonio's invitation, which seemed to just want to draw me in (and I was trying to avoid it), and INSTEAD! He's a friendly and helpful person, ready to help in any way, a living problem solver! When you trust him at the entrance, you enter a place with a warm atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond! They take care of even the smallest details, promptly accommodate every request, and offer the fastest service possible. Even tables of 6/8 people are served at the same time (not everyone does!) in a place that's always packed. Courtesy is a hallmark of everyone! What surprised me most was the QUALITY of the food... I've eaten everything... pizzas, meats, salads, pasta... never a mistake! Everything is always more than excellent, both in quantity, flavor, and quality of the toppings. In short: I wouldn't call it a tourist spot, but a trattoria where you feel like you're eating at home, both for what you eat and the people you meet. My mother (who has a disability) and I went there. She happily takes the "pampering" she received home with her, eager to return soon... and this gives it a value that goes beyond the words I could write in a review. Trust Antonio, come in and you'll be back! ;)

Even though the place was packed, we found a table...super fast and very kind, and also attentive to the needs of celiacs. It's located a few steps from the church of Padre Pio. Rooms are also available.

Nice restaurant, excellent service, and food appropriate for the type of place. Special mention for the pizzas, which are very good, especially the pasta. I recommend it if you find yourself visiting.

Pizza by the slice - very good. Coffee is good. I recommend it.

We had a wonderful evening; the service was impeccable, with a smile, and the menu featured local specialties. We will definitely return!
