19/02/2026: We ate at this restaurant again about two weeks ago, and each time is a pleasure, more so than the last. The quality of the ingredients is unquestionable, the place is warm and welcoming, as is the staff. Today, however, this review makes more sense than ever, and I must fully appreciate this establishment, its staff, and its owner. Following our last visit (which, I repeat, was two weeks ago), I met Andrea, the owner, who, having recognized me, made a point of informing me that our table had been charged a different bill than what we should have, because our order had been mixed up with that of another table. I was refunded the difference and apologized for the error... a gesture worthy of all my respect, which left me astonished. What more can I say? The perfect example of professionalism. 18/02/2026: A top-notch restaurant: truly well-prepared and flavorful seafood dishes. My partner and I went there for Valentine's Day lunch, and as soon as you walk in, you realize the atmosphere is perfect for special occasions; the staff is very courteous and elegant, in keeping with the restaurant's evidently high standards. We ordered two first courses: pasta with amberjack ragù, which was truly delicious, but especially the tortelloni with shrimp and truffle, which was truly exceptional. Afterwards, we ordered two desserts, one with cocoa, bold without being overbearing, and, above all, an orange cake accompanied by truly fantastic mascarpone. A culinary experience definitely worth trying; compliments to the entire staff, from the dining room staff to the kitchen staff.

We had both the burger, which was served with salad and very good cherry tomatoes, and the burger sandwich, which according to those who tasted it was also very good. We also had the meatballs, but these were a bit salty, but that can happen. We also enjoyed the beer. The service was quick, the staff was kind and polite, and the owner was friendly and patient. The atmosphere was very nice and clean, with nice people, good music, and the volume was not at all annoying, so we could converse without any problems. The prices were affordable and fair considering the quality of the food is excellent. What can I say... We'll definitely be back often!

01/01/2026: We went for New Year's Eve lunch. The appetizers, first courses, and second courses were delicious. The dishes weren't the usual mozzarella, cured meats, meatballs, etc., you'll find at other restaurants. Excellent service, and the location was clean and tidy. We'll definitely be back.

12/12/2025: We recently celebrated our 20th anniversary with a trip through parts of Italy we had never explored, and in November—well outside typical tourist season—many places were closed. After leaving Sicily, taking a ferry, and driving more than six hours, we stumbled upon the most incredible surprise: Masseria Palombara Relais & Spa. It was 8 PM when we called, hoping they might have a room. Francesca, the General Manager, answered immediately and could not have been more gracious or accommodating. She welcomed us as though she’d been expecting us all along. Within minutes of arriving, we were given a nighttime tour of the property, followed by an unforgettable farm-to-table dinner—authentic, thoughtful, and absolutely delicious. Our room was equally special: spacious, beautifully designed, and complete with a lovely working fireplace. Owner Angelo Lippolis and his wife transformed this property into a remarkable adults-only retreat—romantic, serene, and full of character. A special thank-you to Francesca and to Blue, the resident dog, for making us feel so at home. What was meant to be a single night’s stay quickly became three unforgettable ones. As much as we’d love to keep this hidden gem to ourselves, it deserves to be discovered by travellers who appreciate charm, authenticity, and heartfelt hospitality. Masseria Palombara Relais & Spa has so much to offer—and we can’t wait to return.

03/11/2025: We stayed for one night in this beautiful Masseria, and what can I say? Everything was impeccable, from the service to the attention to detail. The fireplaces adorning every single room are stunning. The welcome was warm and attentive. I felt pampered from the moment I stepped inside. The food was top-notch, and the breakfast was magnificent, plentiful with both sweet and savory options. In short, an unforgettable stay. Last but not least, the splendid two-hour spa immerses you in a magical world of pampering and relaxation. My rating is 5 stars for everything. An experience worth repeating to fully enjoy the property's many amenities!
