14/04/2025: In the historic center of Trani we had dinner in this little restaurant with stone vaults and well-kept and elegant tables. The welcome was thoughtful and attentive. The small tastings offered by the chef, simple and tasty, were very welcome. The raw material is fresh and expertly treated. The dishes we tasted were above our expectations. The spaghettone with garlic, oil, chilli and cicadas is as memorable as the appetizer with cod. My mother asked for fruit, a dish not on the menu and they were available to please her with a well-presented and varied mix of fresh fruit. Excellent list of Apulian wines recommended with wisdom. Prices in line with the good quality restaurants in Trani. Highly recommended

05/04/2025: Posto terribile. Siamo entrati alle 21.20 hanno preso le ordinazioni alle 21.55 e le pizze ci sono arrivate un'ora dopo. Impensabile che si debba aspettare 2 ore per mangiare 4 pizze. Personale scortese e anche poco.

22/04/2025: Il Monastero è un ristorante eccellente dove il pesce è protagonista assoluto, sempre fresco e cucinato con grande cura. L’accoglienza è calorosa, lo staff gentile e attento, e l’atmosfera davvero piacevole. Ogni piatto è una delizia, dai crudi ai primi: una vera esperienza di gusto. Consigliatissimo!

Order and Cleanliness stand out in this place where you always eat fresh and quality food, both in the raw material and in the preparation. Fish and Seafood always fresh. Highly recommended stop for any type of event or simply to delight your palate.

22/03/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale in 6 adulti e tre bambini di cui una neonata. Cibo ottimo e carne cotta sulla brace alla perfezione . Ci hanno anche aiutato con la piccola che ha pianto tutto il tempo per farci mangiare . Sono stati spettacolari per gentilezza e per qualità ottima del cibo. BRAVI BRAVI

03/02/2025: Great-amazing restaurant! We went for New Years. The New Year's menu was 7 courses or a little more. We enjoyed everything so much that after dinner we could easily eat again. Maybe it was the whole thing, huh! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

30/12/2024: Domenica sera a Trani in inverno, pochi ristoranti aperti, questi pochi sono turistici (mille piatti, menu in plurime lingue, adescatore all'ingresso), quindi la scelta cade su EraOra: locale accogliente, curato, menù con pochi piatti ricercati. Fino a qui le aspettative sono ottime. Il primo piatto ordinato é stato quello più deludente, le friselle erano quelle del supermercato, in puglia si trovano (o di possono cucinare a casa) friselle qualitativamente facilmente, qui ci hanno servito delle piccole due friselle che si trovano anche nei supermercati del Nord. In un locale così ricercato, mi aspetto una frisella più interessante. In entrées grissini, pane e un olio ottimo. I primi: -Troccoli con cozze e muggine: ottimo abbinamento, un po' meno l'esecuzione. Il piatto era salatissimo (ho visto anche altre recensioni che lo dicevano), la cozza era di buona qualità, ma stracotta. Il broccolo mi é sembrato comprato e non fatto nel ristorante, poco legato al condimento. -Ragù di polpo: buono, ma non squisito. -Frittura di calamari: presumibilmente fatta da loro partendo da pesce fresco, buona. Conclusioni: il locale prova ad essere un ristorante di alta cucina: piatti ricercati, porzioni piccole, prezzi alti, staff molto a modo, ma offre piatti qualitativamente imperfetti, che ti aspetti in un'osteria a modico prezzo. Lo staff era molto gentile, ma mi sono mancati dei sorrisi. Ci tornerei? Per adesso no, ma tra qualche anno volentieri, quando avranno deciso se abbassare i prezzi e diventare un'osteria, oppure alzare l'asticella realmente evitando scivoloni come quello della frisella.
