25/05/2024: Me l’hanno consigliata… ed ho voluto constatare!!! La location carina, la qualità della carne e’ abbastanza soddisfacente non la discuto… ma ciò che mi ha lasciata perplessa è stato il servizio… ma magari ci siam trovati in un giorno sbagliato (settimana) non si sa… Comunque la cameriera poveretta era sola a servire più di 6 tavolate … lascio immaginare i tempi biblici… ma vabbè capiamo. Un’altra cosa… il Menù Bah !!! Non esiste un menù !!!!! Tutto a memoria di questa cameriera… Vino in bottiglia inesistente … solo della casa X fortuna almeno la carne la si sceglie al bancone!!! Purtroppo è pure successo che un bicchiere di vino si sia interamente versato sul tavolo cadendo a terra formando una bella pozzanghera , che viene ignorata sin da subito dalla tipa, nonostante i nostri solleciti.. Ma la ciliegina sulla torta è stato il dolce! Unico e solo Ti propongono un dolce di ricotta… ma è una cosa che non si può descrivere… senza base.. bah vabbè!!! Ciò che ho trovato in questo locale è la mediocrità della gestione della sala e , a questo punto l’indifferenza dei responsabili… La carne e ‘ buona ma non posso di consigliarla…

19/05/2024: Rustic and well-kept environment. Service needs to be improved slightly, there is a very kind lady and boy at the service, but with the rooms full it is difficult to keep up with orders and service. (We waited 15 minutes to order, after ordering everything arrived quickly) Regarding the TOP food, really good, both the raw appetizers and the roast.

29/07/2024: Although the pizza was quite good, the service and hospitality are nothing comparable. It seems absurd to me how in a city like Bitonto which has always been lived and populated mainly by us young people or even families, we end up paying a cover charge of €2.50; something that has never occurred even in a city in the Itria Valley, Salento. Surely there will be reasons behind this and therefore it is not even right to dwell on it. The icing on the cake was at the end of the evening when, after asking why the bill was totally different from what we expected (obviously after having consulted the menu), the answer was characterized by somewhat indecipherable rudeness. And for the most part the lady at the checkout, slamming the money on the cash register, didn't give us any justification...

15/05/2024: It's nice to have a cup of coffee here. Fresh bakery. Friendly atmosphere. Cozy design. Convenient location. There are places outside.

12/05/2024: "Hungry turists in the city" was looking for warm lunch on Sunday at 12:30 am. We saw, they don't serv pizza, pasta... but we ask for some warm lunch = maybe pasta? We asked and it was possible. The chef is the best in town, because at this Sunday we got no go from other "Restaurants" in the city Bitonto, we was too early. But for him it was possible, to make hungry tourists happy. We had 2 different pasta dishes, with fantastic flavour, just easy and nice, inkl. Italien family drama. We just love it. Thanks a lot.

07/08/2024: Order arrived frozen and inedible. 100 meters 3 euros delivery ok but at least edible. To my telephone protests, I'm sorry, next time. At 11pm for me it means no eating, there won't be a next time. A total disappointment.

16/07/2024: Il cameriere si era scordato di dire uno degli antipasti e mi é arrivata prima la pizza ma poi ho detto di non voler più l’antipasto e quando ho ordinato il dolce ho chiesto un soufflé mi é arrivato un gelato tondo nel piatto

09/06/2024: Excellent restaurant with food refined in taste and plating. Great availability and courtesy of the owner. Also ideal for receptions (it has two large rooms). Convenient to reach and parking almost always available. On weekends it is preferable to book, it is a place that you will never find empty. Advised! Updated June 2024 Returned after quite some time, the standards remained unchanged, i.e. high! Excellent venue!

27/08/2024: Malhonnêteté extrême, avec des prix modifiés par rapport à la carte de façon arbitraire et sans aucune explication à la fin du repas. Lieu désuet, cadre sombre, déprimant, et dépourvu de climatisation. Repas tout à fait moyen.

24/05/2024: Non è la prima volta che mi reco al Grottino di Bitonto, gestito dalla Famiglia Ximenes. L' ho fatto ogni anno in occasione di eventi speciali ( compleanni e ricorrenze oppure per una cena o pranzo normale). Ciò che ogni volta mi colpisce sono a parte il sorriso, la squisita gentilezza e l' educazione di tutto il personale, l' eleganza del posto e la raffinatezza con cui vengono preparati i piatti, sempre speciali per sapore e fantasia di allestimento. Ho provato tanti ristoranti o pizzerie a Bari, ma il Grottino supera tutti e rimane un ambiente familiare e caldo dove trascorrere coccolati e con piatti incredibilmente buoni e vino prelibato, una serata od una giornata. Complimenti vivissimi a tutti. Siete unici e speciali❤️❤️❤️

14/07/2024: Pizza that is too thin and gets wet with mozzarella water; discreet service, even if the only pizza chef has to serve too many orders, both those in the dining room and those at home; very attentive to gluten-free; very welcoming environment
