22/08/2024: A restaurant found quite by chance in a small alley that's not at all touristy, not many tables, chairs a little wobbly... but it was good! A low price but great quality for everything we took! The orecchiette in tomato sauce with polpette for the kids were simply amazing.

10/07/2024: In summer it is much more pleasant than in winter, as the tables are outdoors, you eat excellent meat and the appetizers are also good, the staff are polite and attentive, the only negative note, being a large location, sometimes chaotic, but above all in winter.

29/08/2024: I went to this place because it was recommended by the apartment manager. We ate some Salento dishes recommended directly by the lady at the counter, very very good! Very kind and extremely helpful staff to satisfy any type of request. Absolutely worth trying!

26/07/2024: A huge disappointment. 6 years ago it was a culinary revelation - we came back especially for this taste, only to come across a closed place in the middle of the week, at 9 p.m., during the opening hours of the restaurant, without any information or reason. I drove 200 km without any sense.

21/06/2024: Whoever answered me on the telephone number that they made available for reservations, the same number that is also present on their website among other things "reloaded", informed me that the place is closed for works. It would be appropriate for this information to be made available already on the website, why leave those who want to book having to phone repeatedly without getting an answer and finally receiving this information only after repeated attempts to contact them?

07/08/2024: Sometimes you find surprising flavors where you least expect it and one of these is "I Macellai". We tried the tasty potatoes and some sandwiches and found flavor and quality in everything we tried. The staff is very kind. The quality/price ratio is very high and on their website you can also find their menu with all the prices. During the summer, the restaurant is divided into 3 locations (internally, a gazebo area and with tables on the pavement a little further on). My advice is to book. If you are near Galatina, try it for yourself…

25/07/2024: Bad experience. The Google menu listed two tomato/mozzarella dishes, which lured us this far out of the center. Once there, we were told that the menu was wrong and that they didn't know how to prepare such a simple dish, which made me doubt the quality of the ingredients. The restaurant, located in a busy parking lot, was noisy and stuffy, which caused some of our group of 7 (with children) to leave.
