08/02/2025: Ristorante molto carino e ben curato. Cucina ottima. Piatti cucinati bene e con ingredienti di qualità. La nota dolente è il servizio, sicuramente da migliorare; abbiamo atteso invano che arrivasse qualcuno a portarci del pane. I camerieri dovrebbero essere maggiormente presenti in sala per accertarsi che tutto stia procedendo per il meglio. Toilette pulite.

02/01/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per due sere durante il nostro soggiorno a Macugnaga nel periodo di capodanno. Una sera abbiamo provato la raclette e la chinoise ( attenzione da prenotare prima di arrivare ) entrambe davvero buonissime la carne si scioglieva in bocca mentre il formaggio davvero gustoso il tutto accompagnato da patatine, salumi, sottaceti e salse. L’altra sera abbiamo provato sia dei primi che dei secondi di carne accompagnati dalla polenta con i formaggi tutto molto buono ! E per concludere consigliamo la torta Lyskamm. Prezzi nella media. L’unica pecca è che si fa davvero fatica a prenotare ma se riuscite a trovare un tavolo ne vale davvero la pena.

30/10/2024: I spent a few hours in this place after a hike. From the terrace you can enjoy an enchanting view of the east face of the Rosa. The strudel was excellent (I allowed myself an encore). Cozy atmosphere, fast service even though it was crowded. Convenient for the cable car (it's practically attached).
29/09/2024: Beautiful staff! We were on our way to Bivacco Antigine, and host was really helpful, explaining the route and telling about surroundings in general. Food is good for mountain restaurant, too, and the view both from restaurant, or the outside terrace is breathtaking.
Good location, just near the elevator, and close to the Madonna viewpoint, and excellent short via ferrata is in 20 min walk.

The super cook! Very kind, very prepared, SUPER! We have a lot of problems, intolerances, strange tastes... but it satisfied everyone! Well done and kind! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I really think we'll be back!!
The only flaw is that the double rooms are a bit small, but otherwise everything is ok!

07/01/2025: Nice typical mountain place full of rudeness and unwilling to accept requests (with the exception of the blonde girl). 2 of us stop for an aperitif at around 5.30pm and after sitting for 15 minutes no one arrives to take the orders, so I ask if table service was active, after the affirmative answer I ask for a platter of cold cuts but this is not possible in when the kitchen is now preparing for dinner (and what if I wanted a cutting board as an appetizer🤷🏻♂️). Woe then to ask to use the bathroom, initially my girlfriend was told that they had just washed it and therefore to wait as it was wet, after about 10 minutes we asked but a mess turned up that half was enough, so much so that I had to get up and ask for justification of how similar behavior can be tolerated when faced with a woman's request and, in the words "we are tired of people shitting out of the toilet". I'd say not bad
31/12/2024: nella bella Macugnaga sommersa dalla neve ,una pausa pranzo al caldo è d'obbligo- La locanda si trova sulle piste di sci,ha ambienti accoglienti.offre piatti locali con discreta scelta.ottime pietanze non molto abbondanti ma gustose,prezzi nella media,servizio rapido (due turni) cordialità e disponibilità.molto comoda la posizione per chi scia.

08/02/2025: Family-run hotel, excellent view of Monte Rosa, excellent welcome with education and availability of all the staff, simple but excellent food, compliments to the chef, good breakfast, I recommend it and would go back

22/11/2024: Very "cheap" food, not very tasty and not very mountainous. Alas overall disappointing experience. First reachable stop of the classic ugly Milanese who pretends to go walking in the mountains... Too bad.

09/11/2024: Bella location vicino al lago delle fate, splendido giardino adatto ai bambini e anche agli amici pelosi, servizio cortese, simpatia, classico menù da rifugio con tanta squisita polenta! Ci andiamo tutti gli anni più volte con diverse formazioni (con bambini e senza) e l'accoglienza e il servizio sono stati sempre ottimi!

07/02/2025: Situato in località Pecetto, ai piedi della funivia. Il locale è accogliente e il personale è molto disponibile e alla mano. I piatti sono discreti e il servizio è veloce. Un'ottima soluzione dopo una bella sciata.
05/01/2025: Tutto Ottimo piatti tipici non poteva mancare la polenta con carne di cervo. Personale molto disponibile.

03/02/2024: Abbiamo organizzato una giornata a Macugnaga e abbiamo prenotato in questa baita consigliati da un amico. Siamo rimasti molto piacevolmente stupiti dall’ambiente e dal cibo veramente squisito. Un plauso particolare alla cortesia e professionalità del personale e del proprietario. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

24/10/2023: Dopo una bella passeggiata con vista sul Monte Rosa ci siamo fermati a magiare una fastastica polenta uncia accompagnata da un buonissimo Arneis.
Seduti sul terrazzo si mangia guardando le cime delle montagne, la valle e il paese di Macugnaga. I vasi pieni di fiori colorati danno allegria e tutto trasmette serenità.
Gentilissimi i gestori.
Spero di ritornarci appena possibile.
