19/11/2025: My girlfriend and I ended up here somewhat by accident, but next time I'm in Turin, I'm already planning to return. The soft lighting and vintage-Japanese decor make the atmosphere pleasant and unique: alternative without being radical chic. The hot sake was sweet and delicious to sip while sampling the unique food. We tried a couple of Japanese-inspired dishes, which pleasantly surprised me, even though I'm not used to those flavors. All in all, the prices are quite reasonable. Highly recommended :)

09/02/2026: The chips were extremely greasy, probably because the oil wasn't up to temperature. I reported it to the waitress, who took it back to the kitchen. So far, so good, but when I paid, the uneaten chips were also charged and returned to the kitchen.

03/02/2026: Historic establishment. Friendly waitstaff. Expensive and bad coffee, not recommended. The manager should consider that high prices can't be justified by the quaintness of the place; quality products are essential. There are many places in Turin that aren't as beautiful but serve excellent coffee. The bathroom needs renovation. They should consider hiring staff to keep the bathroom at the back of the establishment much cleaner. A latte is overpriced at €4 and a cappuccino at €3. The price would be reasonable if the coffee quality justified it, but that's not the case here. There are many charming restaurants with much better quality coffee at lower prices.

25/01/2026: The only positive note was the poor girl in the dining room, kind, friendly, and attentive. The veal with tuna sauce was tough, overcooked, and the sauce tasted like nothing. The tagliolini with sausage and porcini mushrooms was soaking in its cooking water, and the sausage was terrible. I left it there out of desperation. The piole were different.

07/12/2025: Under the previous management, the place was doing great, but since the change of ownership, it's lost a lot: the owners are grumpy and unfriendly. And now the quality of the food has also declined, with poor quality meat. And to think we used to come here specifically for the meat skewers. ..it's no coincidence that the place is empty even on Saturday nights.

08/10/2025: If you're looking for a family-friendly restaurant serving Abruzzo specialties and other typical Italian dishes, you've come to the right place! I go there very often and used to eat pizza once a week when I was a student in Turin. The best pizzas I've ever eaten in Turin! Maurizio, Gaia, and their dad, Felice, do a fantastic job; I highly recommend it!

15/11/2025: Beautiful restaurant in the Quadrilatero Romano area, in Piazza della Repubblica. The place has a very elegant feel. Upon entering, you're greeted by a pizza oven and a very kind lady who seemed to be the owner. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive throughout the dinner. We had a truly excellent fried fish platter and two pizzas with very light, well-made crusts. The gnocchi with tomato sauce, which my daughter, just over a year old, ate, were also delicious. Parking is very convenient, with plenty of space throughout the square, and the restaurant is in an excellent location, just steps from the historic center. Prices are truly exceptional for this type of restaurant.

11/11/2025: I came here with my wife and a bunch of people ai work with for dinner. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. They spoke good English, which is helpful for an American dummy like me. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Turin.

03/11/2025: Extremely rude treatment. There were 15 of us, and just before dinner ended, I told the cashier I wanted to pay. They told me that at that point "I'd mess up the cashier" and I'd have to wait until the end, but that I could certainly pay for just my Margherita, without having to triple the price, going all-out, paying for all the wine and desserts everyone else ordered. I got to the cashier, and the waiter, with complete arrogance and rudeness, dismissed my previous request, literally forcing me to pay the full amount so he wouldn't have to issue another receipt. I was wrong to listen to him and not call the police. I will never return, and I don't recommend it to anyone, because other reviews already mention the rudeness.

12/02/2026: I went there 2 years ago for 50 mo. Excellent service, plenty of food, courteous and friendly service. I recommended it to my daughter-in-law who celebrated her birthday there and she had a great time. I highly recommend it.

01/02/2026: I attended a 30th birthday party at this venue and had a truly positive experience. The venue is charming and well-kept, ideal for celebrating birthdays or events in a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. There were about 20 of us adults plus 3 children, and having the venue to ourselves was a great added bonus: comfortable, spacious, and perfect for both adults and children. The food was very good, and the staff was super friendly and helpful, always ready to accommodate every request.

09/06/2025: J’étais déjà venue au Pastificio Defilippis et j’en avais gardé un excellent souvenir. Cette fois encore, l’expérience a été très agréable : les serveurs sont vraiment gentils et ont réussi à nous trouver une table alors qu’on n’avait pas réservé. Le cadre est charmant, bien décoré, on s’y sent bien. La cuisine est toujours aussi bonne. La première fois, j’avais mangé des pâtes à l’arrabbiata que j’avais adorées, et j’étais venue exprès pour les reprendre — mais ici la carte change souvent, donc il faut savoir qu’on ne retrouve pas forcément les plats d’une fois sur l’autre. Ce n’est pas un restaurant de « classiques » comme la carbonara, le pesto ou le ragù : ici, on trouve plutôt des recettes originales comme des pâtes aux courgettes ou aux fruits de mer. C’est une cuisine qui sort de l’ordinaire, raffinée, bien travaillée. En revanche, les prix sont un peu élevés (comptez facilement 17-18 € le plat), et les portions sont assez petites — on a encore un peu faim en sortant. Donc le rapport qualité-prix peut paraître un peu juste. Mais les desserts sont très bons aussi, et l’ensemble reste une belle adresse si vous cherchez un resto de pâtes un peu différent à Turin.

15/02/2026: We wanted to order the Parmigiana, but shortly afterward they told us they were out of Parmesan, so we chose another pizza. When they brought it to us, they told us they hadn't added eggs to one of the pizzas because they'd run out, and that was fine. I wish they'd told us this sooner, so I would have chosen something else, but that's fine. The panna cotta was good!
