24/04/2026: On the right of the road leading to the Pino Tunnel, at the first bend, is the Bocciofila di Sassi. Shaded by some tall trees, which provide shade and coolness even on the hottest days, at the end, beyond the once-bustling bocce courts, lies this restaurant. The sign is barely visible from the road, but in the spacious dining room on the first floor of the building, Irene and Mary welcome you with classic Piedmontese specialties. The atmosphere is spartan but welcoming and clean, and the service is essential, fast, and friendly. Both lunchtime and evening meals are available: a first course, a second course with side dish, and dessert, all at relatively low prices. The quality and authenticity of the food reflects home-style cooking, simple and essential. I recently had the opportunity to appreciate this restaurant during a convivial dinner organized by the Turin branch of the National Association of the Granatieri di Sardegna. It's easy to find parking on the main road, but it's a little harder to climb the external stairs that lead to the premises.

13/06/2026: A lovely place with both covered and uncovered outdoor seating. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. The pizza was average, but the tagliolini with shrimp and asparagus was something special! I don't have photos because they were so good I devoured them! The price was in line with expectations. Recommended!

11/05/2026: I LOVE Max Pomodoro. The food is absolutely delicious, there's a huge variety of dishes, and the service is impeccable. The owner is truly lovely! I highly recommend trying the following dishes: agnolotti al vecchio Piemonte, grilled potatoes, porcini risotto, and, above all, the fried calamari and shrimp!

17/03/2026: I decided to have aperitivo at this place for my birthday with two friends. While the atmosphere was elegant and sophisticated, and the cocktails were around €20-35, the rudeness and lack of manners of the hosts were not quite as high. It completely ruined the atmosphere and made me and my friends feel very uncomfortable. First, they told us to sit at a table without specifying exactly which one, and then made us move. We started taking photos with a tripod, and they told us, "When the others arrive, you move and you take that one back." The place was completely empty. How could it bother the other guests that I, on my birthday, wanted to take souvenir photos of myself with my friends? Truly inconceivable. Because we weren't pointing the camera at the staff, but at ourselves, with the aim of taking photos of the event. Having said that, shortly after us, a couple arrived at another table. The classic old man with the young foreigner and the LV bag. Needless to say, they were treated completely differently, even though they were actually quite rude, while we were treated with no attention or respect whatsoever. They asked the other table if they wanted a chair to put their bags on, while they stared at us half the time. Truly annoying behavior that makes no one feel comfortable. Needless to say, when it came time to pay, not only did I not leave a tip, but I wasn't even asked for feedback. This was most likely due to the obvious fault of feeling that the service was not only terrible, but also rude and unwilling to improve. That said, the place is very beautiful, clean, and decorated, and the dishes are quite good and adequate, although in my opinion the prices don't reflect the food, the service, or the beauty of the place. €16 for a bottle of water isn't even worth paying in St. Mark's Square in Venice or in Lourdes. I won't be returning and I strongly advise against the place because, as nice as it is, I'd rather not give my money to people who shouldn't have learned good manners and manners in elementary school.

10/05/2026: "Al tagliere" and "Casa Bellezzia" are a guarantee of quality in Turin's restaurant scene. Behind these establishments lies a great deal of hard work by the staff. I admit I know those who prepare the dishes with care and attention to the finest ingredients, and those who manage the dining room admirably, always with courtesy and a smile, all under the watchful eye of the owner, who has extensive experience in the field. These two establishments are definitely worth a try: Al tagliere if you're looking for a food and wine journey through Piedmontese cuisine, and Casa Bellezzia if you're looking for cuisine that caters to all tastes.

13/04/2026: I don't recommend the Pasta Carbonara; it was disappointing and left me thirsty all night! The bacon was boiled, and the egg yolk cream was tasteless, apart from the very salty taste! I advise the manager to review the recipe with the chef and show a little more empathy towards the dissatisfied customer. Good luck!

26/03/2026: Food a 10 Service a 200 Atmosphere 100 The food came super fast… I had afterwards the tiramisu with Nutella, it was incredible. Ricado Martínez was our waiter today, he was very patient explaining to us the desserts. A plus that he spoke Italian and Spanish!

09/06/2026: On Via Po, a charming café in a fantastic location across from Piazza Castello, the heart of the city. The outdoor seating under the porticoes and the service are pleasant. Average prices.

03/06/2026: This morning, Wednesday, June 3rd, I wanted to go to Bar Regio for breakfast, but Google said it was open. Too bad that after all this walking, I found the place closed. Update the closures on Google, right? No notice on the window or the front door. Never mind, I won't be back.

14/05/2026: My daughter and I spent three days in Turin, and Amici Miei became our go-to spot. The welcome was outstanding, the staff were always smiling, and the food made us want to come back (which we did). The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. 08/10/2025: If you're looking for a family-friendly restaurant serving Abruzzo specialties and other typical Italian dishes, you've come to the right place! I go there very often and used to eat pizza once a week when I was a student in Turin. The best pizzas I've ever eaten in Turin! Maurizio, Gaia, and their dad, Felice, do a fantastic job; I highly recommend it!

12/06/2026: We ate lunch on Sunday with the fixed-price buffet and drink (€19). The food was varied and very good, and the staff was helpful, fast, and extremely friendly. The place was also very nicely decorated. Highly recommended.

Out of curiosity, we tried the Summer Bicierin and discovered a delightful and refreshing alternative. The place is ideal for enjoying a relaxed atmosphere in a refined setting.
