21/02/2026: A wonderful experience in many ways, but you need to arrive early as they fill up quickly and you risk having to wait for a table. The variety of wines offered and the fact that they're on tap are truly the highlight of this place, and considering the options: glass, 1/4, and 1/2, you can easily order one wine and share it with everyone without much trouble. The ordering method is via QR code on the table, and although we had issues with the order, everything was resolved by simply speaking to the waiters. The only flaw is the platter, which coincidentally is the only item on the menu without a photo. It consists of a salami, a slice of cheese, and some bread. Everything arrives at the table with a knife, as everything still needs to be cut before serving, perhaps a little too rustic for €7 a platter. However, it's excellent when paired with a glass of red wine, and for two, that's enough.

The sign is barely visible from the road, but in the spacious dining room on the first floor of the building, Irene and Mary welcome you with classic Piedmontese specialties. The atmosphere is spartan but welcoming and clean, and the service is essential, fast, and friendly. Both lunchtime and evening meals are available: a first course, a second course with side dish, and dessert, all at relatively low prices. The quality and authenticity of the food reflects home-style cooking, simple and essential. I recently had the opportunity to appreciate this restaurant during a convivial dinner organized by the Turin branch of the National Association of the Granatieri di Sardegna. It's easy to find parking on the main road, but it's a little harder to climb the external stairs that lead to the premises.

10/05/2026: Hello, it's (admittedly) not a gourmet restaurant. Nevertheless, it's OUR go-to place when we're in Turin! Good... Welcoming... The owner even gave us advice on making his pizza dough: type of flour, kneading, etc. Of course, geographically, we can't compete with him. But try other restaurants... And for the "picky" ones who criticize... You'll have to tell me what they eat at home... 😉 You get the picture: I LOVE IT! BUT THAT WAS 3 YEARS AGO... Yesterday, May 9th, 2026, the pizza chef retired, the waiter became a pizza chef, and there was a new waitress... The result: over an hour's wait, a downgraded menu, and undercooked mussels. It was our sixth time here; if the first time had been like that, we would never have come back. I don't know if I'll give it another chance... In any case, not by inviting family or friends... We'll see...

11/05/2026: I called U-Tub for catering for my daughter's first birthday. What can I say, simply perfect! Valeria was so kind in accommodating all our requests (from baby food to the cake and even lending us a cooler for drinks). The food was delicious, and the tablescape on the day was beautiful! Highly recommended!

We made a great impression at the buffet, and I received so many compliments because nothing was banal or predictable.
