21/12/2025: Negative points for me are the excessive use of garlic and parsley in all the dishes; the boiled potatoes as a side dish are out of place for a restaurant (more like something for a hospital diet); the octopus is often poorly cooked, resulting in an extremely rubbery texture; the staff is helpful and friendly. Despite being a pizzeria/trattoria, it would still be nice to have some privacy during the meal, which unfortunately isn't available due to the windows overlooking a busy sidewalk. High expectations were completely dashed.

18/09/2025: It's not a Mexican restaurant, but a Chinese one. I had a hot appetizer and soy noodles with shrimp and vegetables. The flavors were bland, the quality was poor, and they weren't good at all. I wouldn't recommend it.

But the bathroom needs updating... sorry, but it needs fixing!
11/01/2026: The restaurant is located on Via Lagrange, small but intimate. Every time we stay in Turin, we buy their tramezzini, which are incredibly fresh and made with top-quality ingredients, but their baci di dama are also excellent. I recommend booking a day in advance. They're always courteous and helpful.

11/11/2025: I came here with my wife and a bunch of people ai work with for dinner. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. They spoke good English, which is helpful for an American dummy like me. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Turin.
03/11/2025: Extremely rude treatment.
There were 15 of us, and just before dinner ended, I told the cashier I wanted to pay. They told me that at that point "I'd mess up the cashier" and I'd have to wait until the end, but that I could certainly pay for just my Margherita, without having to triple the price, going all-out, paying for all the wine and desserts everyone else ordered. I got to the cashier, and the waiter, with complete arrogance and rudeness, dismissed my previous request, literally forcing me to pay the full amount so he wouldn't have to issue another receipt. I was wrong to listen to him and not call the police. I will never return, and I don't recommend it to anyone, because other reviews already mention the rudeness.

21/01/2026: I already knew the place and it's interesting even if at first glance it seems an inhospitable place. The entrance is dark, I had a hard time telling if it was open or closed, and access is via a steep iron staircase with no signs in a dark courtyard that's truly uninviting. But once inside you feel a family welcome, a beautiful rustic atmosphere, and the food is a pleasant surprise: excellent appetizers that can be replicated if desired, delicious agnolotti, grilled braciole, good desserts, coffee, and amaro, all in abundance for only 30 euros. In short, take courage, overcome the darkness and you will be welcomed and pampered in a beautiful 70s-style setting.
20/01/2026: The place is enchanting, it feels like a journey back in time.
We ate well and spent little.
The staff is really very kind.

06/09/2025: I dined a few nights ago for the second time at the Family Restaurant in Turin, but this time the experience was completely negative. The carbonara pasta was inedible; there were large, thick rings of pasta, undercooked and very tough. The carbonara sauce consisted of large pieces of pancetta, also tough. The service, even though the restaurant wasn't full, was unsatisfactory. The price was exorbitant for a meager appetizer and the pseudo-carbonara. I won't be going there again.
01/09/2025: A delightful family restaurant with an excellent selection of pizzas and other dishes! I recommend the Spada dell'amicizia! The included tagliata steak is truly delicious! Kudos also to the kind staff, who add a real family warmth to the meal! Thank you!

12/12/2025: Nice place inside but the quality of the products could change, the mozzarella on the pizza was too chewy, I almost had trouble chewing it
07/12/2025: Under the previous management, the place was doing great, but since the change of ownership, it's lost a lot: the owners are grumpy and unfriendly.
And now the quality of the food has also declined, with poor quality meat. And to think we used to come here specifically for the meat skewers.
..it's no coincidence that the place is empty even on Saturday nights.
