25/11/2024: Non riusciamo a combinare spesso, in famiglia, per cui quando càpita anche il contesto ha tutto il suo bel perché: individuato il posto alla cieca, una volta arrivati abbiamo compreso di essere stati guidati da una mano d’angelo. Accoglienza cordialissima, ambiente luminoso e pulito in tutti i sensi, menù equilibrato e delizioso (gli agnolotti al brasato hanno ricordato a tutti quelli di mia nonna), prezzo onestissimo. Un grazie alla Signora Grazia e al Signor Angelo, anche per la pazienza: non ce ne saremmo andati più! P.S.: é meglio impostare l’indirizzo esatto di via Arzani, 42, perché impostando il nome del locale il navigatore ti porta a Vho - borgo delizioso, ma lontano 2 o 3 chilometri.

30/07/2024: I ordered a kit to make gin and tonic at home (bottle of gin, tonic water, measuring cup). Everything arrived quickly and as agreed.

28/07/2024: I used a Smartbox gift box to purchase wines at Aroma Winebar & Enoteca to be delivered to my home (it was another type of box, I replaced it because I couldn't find anything suitable for me from the original one). The manager was kind and, after we agreed, very fast in shipping. The wines are certainly not cheap but it is a gift, I will drink them to the health of whoever gave them to me.

03/12/2024: I don't know what the secret is, but the ravioli here (with Derthona sauce) are truly unparalleled.

16/11/2024: Very welcoming and pleasant place. Exquisite dishes, shame about the service and the portion of the starter...we received the cutlery plates first and as for the cold cuts starter (to be divided into three), 1 slice of each...shame

03/12/2024: Recensisco con il massimo del punteggio perché ho mangiato benissimo, era tutto buonissimo e ci tornerò molto volentieri. Personale cortese e location accogliente. Se posso solo fare un appunto costruttivo : se scelgo un menù degustazione nella quale non viene specificato quale sarà il dolce mi aspetto di poterlo scegliere a fine cena, così non è stato. Allora perché non scriverlo direttamente nel menù?

03/11/2024: Not far from Tortona, this restaurant is characterized by a very nice and welcoming environment. There are large square tables that encourage conviviality. Excellent food with traditional local dishes. Friendly staff.

27/08/2024: Questo è l’ex Ristorante Il Cavallino. Per i locals era il miglior ristorante della zona, in auge dagli anni ‘60 agli anni ‘80, frutto del sapiente impegno del vecchio proprietario. Gli spazi in stile liberty, bellissimi, sono purtroppo deturpati da arredi, frigo bar, banconi messi a casaccio. Lo spazio esterno è gradevole, ma manca di quel tocco in più. Passiamo alla cucina: ricordavo esperienze migliori in passato, eravamo venuti un paio di volte ed il cibo era più che buono, ma ieri sera purtroppo una mezza delusione. Ordiniamo due battute di fassona, una con porcini, buona, e l’altra con tuorlo d’uovo sedano e montebore, discreta, resto solo stupita dal tuorlo, insapore, grattugiato sodo sulla carne. A seguire due filetti di maialino con salsa ai frutti rossi: tre medaglioni lardellati decisamente piccoli con una specie di duchesse di patate un po’ sgraziata, tipo tortino malfatto. Carne un po’ troppo cotta e asciutta per essere maialino, sembrava quasi riscaldata. Come dessert un tiramisù al pistacchio, buono, ed un muffin con salsa al cioccolato bianco, discreto, se non fosse che il muffin all’interno era completamente bruciato. Lo faccio presente a chi serve ai tavoli che si premura di dirmi che lo farà presente in cucina. Due caffè, acqua e un vino da 20€. Il conto è in totale 90€ per due persone. Nella media, ma avremmo potuto mangiare quantomeno meglio. Spero vivamente che la gestione si aggiorni un poco, il locale merita, spero fosse una serata no, ma quantomeno non avrebbero dovuto far pagare il dessert bruciato.

22/08/2024: Business lunch with friends. Very good local appetizers, veal with tuna sauce, crispy tomino cheese, tartare... All excellent The wait was a little too long for a lunch break. Worth coming back anyway

23/08/2024: Restaurant on mid-August, good simple menu and at a fair price. The garden is beautiful. Raw materials from their local butcher's shop, buffalo breeding etc. To return.

18/08/2024: Normal work menus and upon reservation give you a lot of choice of various well-prepared foods of excellent quality. We go there often

09/12/2024: We chose the €11.99 menu. However, I recommend ordering from the à la carte menu. Very courteous staff. Overall it was a positive experience.
