I dined here (on the outdoor terrace) one evening in August with my husband.
The place is lovely, both inside and out. Even though it's located in the city center, right next to a road, from inside the courtyard you can't hear any noise or anything else.
The food is excellent; dishes are very well cooked, well-served, and easy to digest.
The wait staff could be a little more attentive to the customers... with the exception of one waitress (Jessica, if I'm not mistaken), the others seemed a bit inattentive.
I recommend this place for both couples and small groups of friends (4-6 people). The variety of the menu also makes it easy to bring children.
On a positive note: there is a changing table in the women's restroom.

Lovely location, excellent food (the last sardines I had were this good were about ten years ago in Caorle, and I couldn't eat them again). Excellent value for money. Service needs a rethink... The girls should learn to smile, especially one who seems to be bothering me. Anyway, I'll be back for the food as soon as I pass through Tortona.

We found ourselves in town at lunchtime.
The name of the place attracted us as we searched for a place. It was exceptional, not just in name but in fact: outdoor seating and a wonderful indoor dining area. The female staff were friendly and welcoming.
The portions were average, the dishes were carefully prepared and delicious. The desserts were amazing. We're so happy with this discovery, and we'll definitely do it again.

We stumbled upon this place by chance and found a unique location. The dishes are delicious, typical Tortona dishes, with a touch of modern reworking. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.

A mere three stars, what can I say...the Fassona schiacciata needs a rethink. I recommend buying some salt, but let's not bother with the sauce. The julienned vegetables are too sparse and tasteless. The place is very nice, but it definitely raises expectations, unfortunately.
