13/04/2025: Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante per puro caso e ci siamo mangiati polenta, bevuto un ottimo barbera e mangiato dolci fatti in casa, il proprietario persona competente e gentilissima, sempre pronto a spiegare ogni dettaglio...ci torneremo sicuramente!

02/02/2025: In un posto meraviglioso come il piccolo comune di Moncenisio,ad un passo dal lago,si trova questa piccola polenteria a condensazione familiare . Location piccola,raccolta e molto calorosa(grazie allo stile baita,al camino scoppiettante e ai titolari gentilissimi e sorridenti). Polenta come protagonista,ma più ricercata nella tipologia e nei condimenti(non polenta da piola). Polenta bianca o al sugo con salsiccia,con bagnacauda o concia alla toma blu. Possibilità di gustare prima un tagliere o un antipasto(che varia a seconda della stagione). Non c'è la possibilità di bere a calice o sfuso ma bottiglie di vino che vengono date al cliente a fine pranzo con il rimanente. La cosa che forse ho apprezzato di più è il titolare che ti racconta ciò che stai per mangiare. Una di quelle chicche che i mega ristoranti anonimi non offrono(e forse lì..meno male).

02/05/2025: Dopo una cavalcata di due ore immersi nel verde della Valle Stura abbiamo pranzato in questa particolare struttura sui colli di Moiola. Splendido panorama,spazio verde esterno con zona bimbi ed animali da coccolare. Appena arrivati un ricco aperitivo a buffet ci aspettava,squisiti salumi e formaggi a km0 e prodotti appena sfornati dai titolari. Pranzo con antipasti gustosi,due primi di cui di cui ho assaggiato solo ottimi cruset fatti a mano frutto di un'antica ricetta familiare tramandata di generazione in generazione, due secondi eccelsi prodotti con ottime materie prime degni di plauso.dolci fatti a mano e vini ,caffè, amari .ottimo cibo,clima familiare,ambiente rustico,pulito,curato .Personale gentile e disponibile .Se volete passare una giornata spensierata a contatto con la natura con animali docili e ben addestrati e proprietari gentili ed accoglienti questo è il posto giusto.

08/07/2025: I had written a three-star review that read, "Air conditioning, so it's great in the summer. I had the shrimp tartare sandwich, which was good, but the bacon was very thick, and €13 was a bit too much for a sandwich." Customer service invited me to try other options as their guest, and I returned to try the octopus sandwich (Il polperone), which, despite the peppers, had a very distinct flavor of fried octopus. Then I tried the tuna tataki sandwich, which was more delicate, and the tuna was also very good and of excellent quality. Probably, as they said, they're human, and the bacon in the shrimp sandwich was cut too thick, upsetting the balance a bit. I have no complaints about the quality of the fish. The sandwiches are expensive, but they're filling, and one thing I like is that they're nicely filled and the bread is super crunchy.

06/07/2025: Polignano a mare in the center of Turin! A must eat for fish lovers, in our case raw in particular. Excellent quality of the raw material, prices in line with the offer. The only flaw is that while we were served immediately, our friends had to wait a long time for the sandwiches, which arrived when we were almost finished. The place was practically empty at that time during the week, there was only one couple next door. Overall, if you are in the area, try it!

09/04/2025: Sabato sera, cena organizzata all'ultimo momento, dove andare per mangiare un buon piatto con un buon bicchiere di vino? Antico Cappelverde ovviamente, chiamo e anche se era un orario un po' al limite ci accolgono con serenità e professionalità. Partiamo col dire che hanno rinnovato la carta (lo fanno spesso seguendo la stagionalità di prodotti e tempo), assaggiamo la tartare Ca'di mat col tuorlo croccante e gocce di robiola di Roccaverano e la tradizione ( un mix di antipasti piemontesi). Primi i loro agnolotti di stufato col loro sugo fatto come la nonna comanda, e gnocchi alla carbonara monferrina, particolari e golosi. Alziamo il tiro con i secondi, la loro bistecca Milano senza osso, la mia esente contorni era 540gr, e il fiocco di filetto con salsa di gamba di pernice..... Spettacolari entrambi. Tavolata da 6, abbiamo fatto fatica, ma abbiamo portato a casa la vittoria con lo stupore genuino del titolare. Non abbiamo preso il dolce, non ci stava più nulla. Concludendo, conto più che giusto, con una qualità altissima e ricerca costante di nuovi piatti della tradizione piemontese ormai dimenticati. Lo stra consiglio a tutti di andarci, non rimarrete delusi, anzi......

11/03/2025: I booked a dinner for my nephew's birthday, there were 15 people and I was almost certain that it would be a nice evening. Wow, what a carefully decorated room, the fabulous menu, all super welcoming. I recommend it. Thanks to Mrs Carlotta and Matteo. The guests were super satisfied

05/03/2025: Cibo buono e genuino, ampia scelta, porzioni generose, ambiente curato, la titolare ti fa sentire a casa e ben accolto. Unica osservazione i bagni con le turche non facilmente accessibili a tutti.

12/06/2025: Dinner. 3 portions Fried bread with raw ham and burrata (so delicious), Paela Valenciana X4 (very good and plentiful), dessert (2 cheesecakes and 2 chocolate and mint semifreddo), 2 sparkling waters, 2 beers, 2 glasses of Arneis wine and 4 coffees, 30 Euros per person. What can I say, honest price, perfect service, excellent quality. We had a great time. RECOMMENDED

03/06/2025: Really disappointed with the pizzas with undercooked tomato sauce, even sour. Especially avoid ordering the Pistacchiosa for dessert, as big as a pizza, hot, cold pistachio cream and cold strawberry coulis; I couldn't eat it just by the look of it (quite disgusting). Honestly, this is a place to avoid.

22/06/2025: Experience below expectations, at lunch I'm not from the area, but I was passing through the station, so I don't know exactly what the people of Turin are used to, but between Milan and Bergamo I often go to all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants, so much so that I work there, but I've always found them to be of a better standard than this one. The traditional look and welcoming atmosphere reminded me of when, more than ten years ago, I was a kid and I first went to this type of restaurant and it was a pleasant memory, even if it was simple. The aquarium in the dining room was really nice. The bathrooms were clean. However, I'm very perplexed by the price, which I consider excessive, even for example compared to Milan, where in much more sophisticated environments you have access to superior quality and a much wider menu. The menu is in fact very limited: for example, tartare is missing, which is now present in any ayce restaurant in Italy; many of the classics of Chinese cuisine are missing, such as salt and pepper shrimp, spicy, mushrooms and bamboo or sweet and sour, Chinese dumplings and rice and soy noodles; many appetizers that are commonly found on lunch menus are missing, such as French fries, shrimp clouds, crab claws, octopus and potatoes and even the classic steamed buns. The meat gunkan is interesting. Long lists to say: if it is not cheap, at least the reasons should be justified, but they are not. The portions are not generous: they are abundant. In short, with lots of rice, certainly more suitable for an à la carte restaurant, or for an all you can eat where the goal is to fill up immediately, hoping that you order a few dishes. The plating is quite poor and sometimes even makes the food difficult to eat, like the salmon steak cooked with teriyaki that was bathing in the sauce, which was also very salty (ordered only once per person!). The taste of the sashimi fish is really bland and conveys a not indifferent sadness. The service is good, even if not very precise, although generally fast. (!) There is no wine by the glass, too bad

15/06/2025: Siamo tornati in questo ristorante dopo un paio di esperienze entusiasmanti (abbiamo anche festeggiato qui la Cresima del nostro terzogenito), ma, con nostro grande stupore, questa volta le attese sono andate totalmente deluse. Tempi biblici (quasi 2 ore per un antipasto e un risotto) e qualità del cibo mediocre. Visto che l'occasione era il compleanno di nostra figlia, abbiamo anche chiesto che ci preparassero una torta e quello che ci è stato servito è stato un rettangolo di pan di spagna con un po' di crema pasticcera e cioccolato, che forse in un qualsiasi supermercato avremmo trovato uguale, spendendo però la metà. Per 2 antipasti misti, 5 primi, 2 bottiglie d'acqua e la torta (si e no 1/2 kilo) abbiamo speso 146 €. Non metto meno di 3 stelle sulla fiducia che si sia trattato di un incidente di percorso, ma se così non fosse, allora 2 sarebbero quasi generose.

14/07/2025: Maden var lokal, lækkert, frisk. Smagte super dejligt. Vi var de eneste med børn, men det fungerede meget fint alligevel. Fik lov til at bestille en børne-pasta, selvom der ikke var børne-retter på kortet. Kan anbefales.

08/07/2025: Das Essen war hervorragend. Ich hatte ein Rindertatar als Vorspeise. Mein Mann wählte keine. Aber sie brachten unaufgefordert 2 Teller und stellten die Vorspeise in die Mitte. Das war sehr aufmerksam. Das Rindertatar war hervorragend. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, jemals ein so perfektes Tatar gegessen zu haben. Engagiert abgeschmeckt und mit karamellisiert Zwiebeln, Kapern und gerüsteten Mandeln war es einfach hervorragend! Auch der Hauptgang, ich hatte Pasta mit Muscheln, war nicht nur mit seiner sanften Schärfe köstlich, sondern auch wirklich so abgeschmeckt, dass es kein Nachwürzen bedarf. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, auch wenn der Service bis auf eine Ausnahme sehr steif war. Das Essen sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Es ist wunderbare italienische Küche!

06/03/2025: Avevo vinto una box di Boscolo a un Premio Letterario (la Fine Dinner - 159 € per una cena per due persone) e ho scelto (ahinoi) questo ristorante. Ho avuto molte difficoltà nella prenotazione nonostante abbia seguito alla lettera le indicazioni e abbia chiesto più volte conferma telefonicamente, e, una volta giunti sul posto il proprietario (Nicola?) è venuto al nostro tavolo e in modo poco gentile ci ha detto che non potevamo usare la box perché bisognava attendere che Boscolo rispondesse (o qualcosa del genere, perché parole ne ha dette tante). Allora io ho risposto che avrei cenato altrove e ho fatto per alzarmi ma lui, piuttosto di cortese e trattandomi letteralmente come una barotta ignorante (o almeno, io in quel momento mi sono sentita tale), ha attivato tramite il sito di Boscolo la box e in meno di 15 secondi Boscolo ha risposto. Da quel momento la nostra cena è stata un incubo: frasette ironiche ma taglienti da parte del sig. Nicola che invece trattava gli altri clienti con deferenza, allusioni al fatto che io avessi "parlato fin troppo" quando invece avevo semplicemente spiegato che la prenotazione con la box mi era stata confermata con ben 2 telefonate e, alla fine, al momento di salutarci, si è ancora permesso di chiedermi se mi ero calmata! Io? Ha fatto tutto lui! Che non fossimo clienti graditi è stato chiaro fin dal primo momento, quando ci ha chiesto da dove arrivavamo e se eravamo già clienti, e la sua grande scortesia ci ha rovinato una serata di relax. Quanto al cibo, nulla da eccepire (se non che io e il mio compagno di questa avventura abbiamo dovuto PER FORZA scegliere gli stessi piatti perché così ha imposto l'onnipresente signor Nicola), ma un buon ristorante si valuta anche sul piano della cortesia... Insomma: un buon ristorante è dove ci si sente a proprio agio e non dove il proprietario o chi per lui ti umilia in continuazione? ESPERIENZA PESSIMA, OVVIAMENTE DA NON RIPETERE. Quanto al sig. Nicola... non glielo ha mica ordinato il medico di essere presente sulle box di Boscolo! Se tali clienti lui noni reputa all'altezza del suo locale, eviti accuratamente e scelga chi è degli di sedersi ai suoi tavoli!

05/03/2025: Restaurant with home cooking. Excellent quality/price ratio. Open only for lunch, dinner by reservation. The menu changes every day. The owner is very kind and helpful in satisfying the customer. It is definitely a place to take into consideration if you pass through this area. Advised. Must try.

05/06/2025: Posto pessimo. La pizza sa di chimico. Inoltre è troppo sottile, cade. Il formaggio è tutt'altro che stagionato e si indurisce in due secondi. Assolutamente non ci ritorneremo.

06/05/2025: Il locale è bello e arredato molto bene, il cibo è ottimo e il personale molto gentile. Posizione centrale facilmente raggiungibile

24/05/2025: It turned out to be a real disappointment. Beautiful area, beautiful place, shame that the dinner turned out to be a disappointment. Upon arrival the owner began with "I'm tired". When booking we were assured that everything was cooked on site, in reality perhaps only the agnolotti were boiled on site. Then last but not least, out of a total of 1200 euros, when a guest asked for an additional bottle since we had already paid, we were denied and had to pay for it separately since we had paid 5 minutes before.

18/05/2025: Very nice place, very kind staff. Not a wide choice of dishes but all made with care and with quality ingredients. The cured meats and giardiniera are exceptional, but I have doubts about the choice of cheeses and the few first courses available. Wines produced directly by them, I can only express an opinion on the chardonnay and I must say that the quality-price ratio is excellent. The overall cost, compared to other experiences in the area, I found it a bit expensive, but not excessively. Ample play space for children, but unfortunately the tables are not in sight.
