11/04/2025: Mi reco in questo posto x mangiare e nel 2025 non mi era ancora capitato di non riuscire a mangiare niente xche tutto o quasi conteneva carne (sono vegetariana). Ripiego allora in un'insalata pagata 20€ con una bottiglietta d'acqua, signori e signore avete capito bene,dove non ci sono esposti nè prezzi nè ingredienti. Alchè chiamo il ragazzo x chiedere cosa c'è dentro le insalate. Oltre al prezzo,che dire disonesti è un complimento, arrivo al tavolo e trovo la seconda sorpresa dopo la cassa... l'insalata completamente marcia.. più la giro e più vedo le foglie gialle marce dell' iceberg e flosce della valeriana e della rucola.Non parliamo del fatto che di proteine non ce ne sono proprio xche di mozzarella ce ne saranno 4 pezzettini in tutto. E quello doveva essere un pasto completo...Allego le foto giudicate voi, l'ho rispedita indietro e mi è arrivata insalata in foglie solo di un tipo e non più mista e da qui si capisce la malafede nel mettere le altre che le avevano in frigo da chissà quando tempo! Uno schifo totale. Oltretutto vorrei specificare che non c'era neanche servizio al tavolo e non c'era nemmeno il pane con l'insalata dato che un pacchetto di 3 grissini che solitamente è compreso costava 1€!!!! Forse credono di fregare i turisti probabilmente. Non ci sono veramente parole. Pessimi delusa e disgustata! Mai mai più!

20/05/2025: Trovato “fuori casello” durante un viaggio il ristorante è stata una piacevole sorpresa! Piatti semplici ma sfiziosi e personale cordiale e simpatico, il tutto con atmosfera da osteria. Promosso a pieni voti

16/05/2025: Aperto il 22 marzo 2005 dagli attuali proprietari. Ampio parcheggio riservato dietro la chiesa di Nostra Signora del Carmine. La prima sala dispone di 10 coperti, 22 la seconda. Chef Barbara Franzin; in sala il marito Franco Stranieri. Piacevole musica pop soft degli anni '80 e '90 in sottofondo; la cena: Vino: - Colli Tortonesi "Terre di Libarna" Spumante Brut DOC "Lüsarein" da uve Timorasso 100% Metodo Martinotti az. Ezio Poggio. Pane bianco, pane integrale, pane ai 7 cereali e focaccia tutto maison. ANTIPASTI: - antipasto degustazione (battuta di Scottona con insalatina e grana a scaglie - tortino con farina integrale, patate, caciocavallo e prosciutto - flan di Parmigiano con vellutata di peperoni e cialda al Parmigiano - insalata russa). - pesce spada affumicato con pomodorini e olive taggiasche. PRIMI: - paccheri di Gragnano calamaretti, pomodorini e olive taggiasche. - ravioli di borragine con fonduta di Montebore e tartufo nero. DESSERT: - bavarese agli agrumi con frutti di bosco. - torta di mele e nocciole con gelato. Caffè a chiudere. La bella carta dei vini presenta 45 etichette. Non è previsto il menù degustazione; à la carte 5 antipasti da 9 a 14€; 5 primi da 12 a 15€; 4 secondi da 12 a16€, "sottofiletto alla griglia con verdure grigliate" a 20€, "degustazione di formaggi" a 11€; 3 contorni da 5 a 7€; 7 dessert a 7€, "degustazione dolci" a 9€; è tutto consultabile nel sito web, solo alcune piccole differenze; pane e grissini anche per celiaci e, su richiesta, menù per celiaci e vegetariani. A novembre, per il 45° Tour Gastronomico Valli Borbera e Spinti, sono previste due serate, il 14 "Stoccafisso e Baccalà" e il 21 "Serata Bollito". 02/05/2025: Fantastica Scoperta! Abbiamo pranzato con amici, che dire.. Cibo di qualità eccellente. Dagli antipasti ai dolci. Tutto STREPITOSO. Personale cortese, disponibile e pronto a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza, (una tra tutte mettere a tavolo altre 4 persone nonostante il locale pieno). Super consigliato! Grazie di tutto, ma proprio di tutto!!!!

01/05/2025: Locale e personale molto accoglienti. Non ricca ma selezionata scelta dei cibi, tutti di qualità. Ottimi tomino con carciofi fritti e humus di ceci, tagliatelle fondo bruno e nocciole, stracotto di vitello. Delizioso anche il bunet. Buono il barbera della casa. Conto onesto. Il ristorante è nella piazza della città, prospiciente p. Maggiore.

15/06/2025: Unfortunately, a disappointing experience. At the checkout, the clerk made mistakes several times when typing in the receipt, inserting products that I had not purchased. I had to intervene to have the errors corrected, but I fear that in the meantime I was given the wrong change, which I only realized after leaving the store. When I got home, I noticed that the arancini I had paid for were missing from the bag and, instead of the fried skewers I had chosen, I found myself with normal skewers. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the attention to the customer and the care in packaging the orders should definitely be improved.

14/06/2025: Excellent as always the quality and variety of the food offered, unpretentious service, but in these places you don't have to be, always very crowded place, but this is a merit

09/04/2025: Sabato sera, cena organizzata all'ultimo momento, dove andare per mangiare un buon piatto con un buon bicchiere di vino? Antico Cappelverde ovviamente, chiamo e anche se era un orario un po' al limite ci accolgono con serenità e professionalità. Partiamo col dire che hanno rinnovato la carta (lo fanno spesso seguendo la stagionalità di prodotti e tempo), assaggiamo la tartare Ca'di mat col tuorlo croccante e gocce di robiola di Roccaverano e la tradizione ( un mix di antipasti piemontesi). Primi i loro agnolotti di stufato col loro sugo fatto come la nonna comanda, e gnocchi alla carbonara monferrina, particolari e golosi. Alziamo il tiro con i secondi, la loro bistecca Milano senza osso, la mia esente contorni era 540gr, e il fiocco di filetto con salsa di gamba di pernice..... Spettacolari entrambi. Tavolata da 6, abbiamo fatto fatica, ma abbiamo portato a casa la vittoria con lo stupore genuino del titolare. Non abbiamo preso il dolce, non ci stava più nulla. Concludendo, conto più che giusto, con una qualità altissima e ricerca costante di nuovi piatti della tradizione piemontese ormai dimenticati. Lo stra consiglio a tutti di andarci, non rimarrete delusi, anzi......

11/03/2025: I booked a dinner for my nephew's birthday, there were 15 people and I was almost certain that it would be a nice evening. Wow, what a carefully decorated room, the fabulous menu, all super welcoming. I recommend it. Thanks to Mrs Carlotta and Matteo. The guests were super satisfied

05/07/2025: Hub piemontese di catena ligure. Bel posto, arredi eleganti e bohemien al contempo, come il servizio ed il cibo. Focaccia al formaggio buona, cacio e pepe con gamberi altrettanto.

19/06/2025: Restaurant with modern and inviting decor. Informal atmosphere and friendly service. Good food. We had a Recco foccacia as a starter, soft, thin dough with mozzarella filling. A Livigno salad, with arugula, Parma ham, buffalo mozzarella, parmesan and walnuts.

26/06/2025: We stopped by chance at this restaurant pizzeria and we will definitely return for the courtesy and friendliness of the owner and for the culture, disagreements and tastes linked to the territory. The structure is pleasant with large internal and external spaces, the menu is not particularly vast but focuses on the quality of the raw material and cannot leave any doubts given the general quality of the proposals. The owner is rightly proud of the entire area and the territories, and will advise you in the best way for the healthy passion with important competitive past in the off-road motorcycle world. 4 well-deserved stars that are absolutely worth a lunch or dinner, we did not order pizzas but looking at the tables they were well cooked and seasoned. Definitely recommended.

18/07/2025: Characterful atmosphere, professional and extremely friendly staff; we enjoyed a family lunch with excellent Sicilian dishes, such as macaroni with pistachio pesto, delicious arancini with vegetables and provola cheese, and extraordinary desserts, like the classic cannoli. I highly recommend it!
