19/11/2024: I just spent a weekend at Ca' Rapulin with my family and a group of friends. I'll clear your doubts straight away, it's the second consecutive year that we've come to this accommodation in November. And I also tell you that a member of the group, taking on the role of thoughtful person, has already blocked for next year. Moving on to the details: 7 families, 14 adults and 12 children between 2 and 11 years old. Finding a place to sleep and eat for such a large group of children is no easy task. The manager Eleonora welcomed us with the usual kindness, remembering each of us. We may also be nice, but where I would like to highlight the courtesy of the manager lies precisely in the attention and flexibility in managing the children. Never a word out of place or a request for attention. Only big spontaneous smiles, a very rare commodity. The rooms are large, where you can easily fit beds for children. Characteristic style of the countryside and still fresh. Cleanliness of the accommodation and bathrooms is perfect. The temperature didn't work: I reported the problem and it was immediately resolved by the central panel. Dinner with a pre-established menu including house wine (I particularly liked the red) at a very competitive price. Good quality with collective applause to the chef for the cheek which stood out in a menu that was nevertheless complete and very tasty. There was the possibility of having truffles made to order. We opted not to add it, but the price per gram was clearly lower than those of external restaurants. Not even to say that we will return... as mentioned in the incipit, thoughtful has already booked.

19/10/2024: Quello con Ca' Rapulin ed Eleonora è stato un vero colpo di fulmine. Cercavamo una location per il nostro matrimonio, e ci siamo subito sentiti a casa. Un ristorante splendido, curatissimo con una vista incredibile e cibo impeccabile. Hanno reso il nostro matrimonio indimenticabile.

From what I hear, I expect it to be a very good restaurant, specializing in fish, but with other options as well.

20/12/2024: Cucina casalinga nel centro storico di Locana, servizio bar e ottima trattoria di montagna. Nei periodi più caldi dell'anno c'è anche una bella terrazza fuori all'aperto che ultimamente è stata ristrutturata. La terrazza ha anche una vista parziale sulle montagne della Valle Orco. È una buona soluzione da abbinare a un giro nel centro storico di Locana, sicuramente ideale durante il periodo turistico

13/01/2025: Siamo stati per lavoro io e un mio collega ad Acqui Terme, in data 13-14/01/2025. Soggiornavamo in un albergo in zona Bagni. Abbiamo scelto il ristorante dell' albergo ma abbiamo sbagliato in pieno. Abbiamo iniziato a guardarci intorno trovando questa Pizzeria Sorrento. Bravissimo il pizzaiolo! Una pizza super morbida e cotta bene, fantastica! I tempi di attesa sono stati nell'ordine, quindi niente di cui lamentarsi. Grazie mille per averci salvato! Sicuramente torneremo a mangiare qua, ci siamo trovati molto bene grazie alla proprietaria molto simpatica e alla mano. GRAZIE MILLE RAGAZZI

28/11/2024: Se vuoi gustare i piatti tipici delle Langhe ad un prezzo giusto, sicuramente il Circolo La Torre Ristoro è il posto giusto. Con un menù degustazione di circa 30 euro, servono i classici antipasti langaroli tra cui vitello tonnato, insalata di carne cruda, peperoni con crema di acciughe... Quindi doppi primi con agnelotti del plin al burro e salvia e tajarin al ragù. Come secondo, si può optare per dei formaggi locali, oppure assaporare uno stracotto alle nocciole o ancora uno spezzatino di cervo... Come dolci, da segnalare i buonissimi Bicerin sabaudo e Bicerin allegro. Il personale è molto cordiale, direi 'alla mano', disponibilissimi ad accontentare (nei limiti del possibile) le richieste, pronti alla battuta. Insomma tutti gli ingredienti giusti per un pranzo ottimo nel cuore delle Langhe

15/08/2024: We had delicious coffee and cake here before. Curious about lunch after reading the other reviews. We were not given a menu and relied on our host. The primi was gone, but there was still antipasti and secondi. Fine. Unfortunately it was unclear that we received 5 antipasti (after 3 we were already full and then it just kept coming) and when we paid we were surprised that we had to pay 50 euros for 3 people. We also thought it was a shame that we didn't know what to choose from, vegetarians didn't really have a choice and the last dishes (kind of cabbage with cheese) were not for us tourists. A beautiful location but unfortunately the 2nd experience with Il Trick was a lot less.
