25/08/2025: We've been there twice precisely because it's a wine bar serving meat dishes. Truly excellent food, generous portions, and a wide selection of tasty side dishes. The value is beyond excellent: a first course, two second courses (veal strips with cooked must), and three side dishes, water, two glasses of wine, and coffee cost just over €60. The gnocchi and ravioli are special.

A quality gelato shop in the heart of Termoli, with an open-plan kitchen that exudes trust and attention to hygiene. The gelato is good: the amarena is excellent, but the stracciatella is less convincing. The cone is crunchy and just the right amount of sweet. Prices are fair and well-displayed, although the small €3 cone doesn't include cream. The place isn't large, but it has outdoor seating and friendly, fast staff. Overall, a good experience, although the flavor selection could be a bit wider.

I chose this gelato shop after seeing the excellent reviews on Maps, and I have to say the experience was overall positive. It was a Sunday evening in early September, so there was a bit of a line, but it was all right and the line was handled fairly quickly by the kind and friendly staff.
I ordered a small €3 cone with two flavors: amarena and stracciatella. I was very impressed with the amarena, fresh and well-balanced; The stracciatella, on the other hand, didn't thrill me, but I recognize that may depend on personal taste. The cone was good, crunchy and sweet enough, and it complemented the whole thing nicely.
The variety of flavors isn't vast: about 19 available (at the time of my order), some of which were already sold out, so the selection is somewhat limited compared to other gelato shops. On the other hand, the overall quality of the gelato remains satisfactory. The option to purchase cups, take-out packages, and gelato cakes is also interesting. Prices are clearly displayed on a large sign inside the shop.
The open-plan lab, as the name suggests, is a great added value: it allows you to glimpse the work and care put into the preparation, conveying transparency and attention to hygiene. The interior is small, but there is a convenient central outdoor area where you can enjoy your gelato immediately after purchase.
My only small complaint: the small €3 cone doesn't include cream, a detail I found a bit disappointing and could be improved.
Overall, however, I consider this gelateria an excellent choice in Termoli: I might not be sure if it's the best overall, but it's definitely worth a visit.

Wide variety of flavors. Very creamy gelato (you can tell it's good quality).
Prices are medium/high, but the cone is definitely large.
If you're passing through Termoli, a stop is a must; it's definitely worth it.

For someone who travels 250 km to make a brother-in-law from San Martino happy, finding a restaurant like this makes you want to say: I'm booking for Sunday. Thanks for everything, excellent food, excellent service, thank you so much, I recommend it and stay at mom's house ❤️

31/08/2025: We found this restaurant by chance, recommended by a young woman who served us aperitivo the day before. We were looking for a good place to eat, and our expectations were exceeded. The restaurant isn't very large, so we ate inside because the weather forecast predicted rain. We booked the day before to secure a table, as space is limited, requiring careful planning to manage time and customer flow. We had the first seating at 7:30 PM, and the owner urged us to be on time or we might lose our table. We arrived half an hour early. The friendliness and courtesy of the owner and the young woman who served us are a plus, but as we began to eat, we realized it's just their way of being. Their passion for cooking and their work is reflected in the flavors and the timing of the service. Everything is timed, which is necessary to accommodate two sittings in one evening, and we realized how frustrating it can be for those who maintain a steady pace and dedication to their work when a table of eight doesn't show up for their appointment, or rather, shows up half an hour late, and naturally, everything falls through. If you let us know when you make a reservation that you must be on time at a place that, as we're told, has limited space and must meet deadlines, you can't complain; you should just apologize. That said, they served us an appetizer that featured a variety of dishes, each one better than the last. The shrimp wrapped in grilled zucchini were amazing, as were the potato and salmon tart and the stewed octopus, the swordfish with citrus pesto... I couldn't decide which was better. The cod ravioli with zucchini flowers and cherry tomatoes... a real treat for me, a lover of stuffed pasta. The Adele cod with potatoes and cherry tomatoes, despite being baked, remained soft; the grilled one with chicory was superior in flavor. The fried food was excellent: tender calamari and flavorful anchovies. Need we mention the battered cod with their homemade mayonnaise? Sublime. To finish, a crème brulee and a berry parfait that absolutely lived up to the whole meal. Our experience was beyond positive and we highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed. We'll definitely be back for our next weekend getaway. 👏

29/06/2025: We stayed for a week, the rooms were nice and clean, the food was genuine with home cooking. The structure and the swimming pool were beautiful. The managers Antonio and Nicolina were kind and helpful. The location is a bit out of the way so it is an excellent place for those looking for relaxation and tranquility.

24/08/2025: Terrible experience for what we ate, the price is high. Honestly, we spent a lot for just a few portions. Two platters of meat bones, they forgot to bring the side dishes. The fusilli all seemed out of place, not made by them. For a small baking dish of fusilli with sauce that maybe fed 3 people, you can't ask for €60.00. The only thing I appreciated was the ravioli, but even then they told us the baking dish was for 6 people, but that wasn't the case at all. But then the bill was said verbally, "It's €400.00." We had to insist on having the bill brought before paying, because they weren't prepared and we had to wait for it to be written down. Anyway, I won't go back. There are so many nice little places in the area where you can eat and spend very little.
17/08/2025: I've been coming here for a few years and have always been very satisfied. The meat is truly delicious, cooked to perfection. You can choose to have it cooked on the stone or on a wooden cutting board; if you choose the latter, they bring you a separate stone to heat the meat. They offer a variety of cuts, and you can also try traditional local products, such as pork coppa, Molise sausage, and arrosticini. Everything is cooked strictly over the coals. The appetizers also fully meet expectations, featuring fresh, high-quality local ingredients, and are definitely worth a try. I personally don't like their pasta dishes, but they make up for it with the meat. The price is excellent for what you get.
I can only say: try it. If you're in the area and want a great Florentine steak, this is the place to go.

22/08/2025: The lady who served us came to our table asking us what to bring without even giving us a paper menu, in a hurry, without even giving us time to think, we ordered appetizers and a second course with a side dish, we hadn't even finished eating the appetizers when she had already brought us the second course, my mother, a little annoyed, pointed it out to her and she didn't even respond, the table wasn't stable and I asked her if she could fix it so as to block it, she said she would be there right away and she didn't.
18/08/2025: Excellent restaurant, a guarantee for good fish at a fair price! They only let down a little in the service during large events and holidays... too many people and slow service, not due to the dining room staff but, in my very personal opinion, the kitchen. It's still, and I repeat, an excellent place to enjoy good fish at a fair price! 👍🫶

03/09/2025: Excellent fresh dishes at an extremely reasonable price. Open much longer hours than the rest of the restaurants in the area. Very welcoming staff especially for one who does not speak English well. Reservations suggested but they are also flexible if you are not unreasonable.
29/08/2025: The owner was not at all welcoming, very rude, especially when his payment system wouldn't accept my and my wife's debit cards.
He was not at all helpful and had a hostile and unpleasant attitude.
He was arrogant and should be avoided at all costs.
The waiter had a foul odor.

06/08/2025: I was there this evening with my family, the typical Neapolitan setting is very nice, the food is excellent: gnocchetti alla sorrentina, octopus and broccoli rabe, calamarata, aubergine parmigiana, starters: sbirra and seafood guappo, the price is super considering the quality and quantity, the only thing I can recommend is a smile from those who serve these delicacies, plus they are friendly and polite, I want to say, but that typical particularity is missing.
05/08/2025: On a cool evening in Termoli, we chose to dine at La Sbirra, a trattoria that embodies the soul of authentic Neapolitan cuisine. The restaurant is simple, informal, yet welcoming. Here, the decor doesn't matter: it's the heart that counts. And you can taste it.
Welcoming us is the owner, a kind and passionate Neapolitan who has made his hospitality his strong point. He's almost terrified of keeping customers waiting, of leaving unexpected guests, but I want to tell him one thing:
Art takes its time, and those who come here are not in a hurry. They know that behind every dish there is attention and care.
His wife, a daughter of an artist, works in the kitchen, and you immediately sense that the dishes aren't just made: they are lived. There's respect for tradition, for flavor, and for those who sit at the table. Cuisine made with the heart, without compromise.
We began with a series of seafood appetizers, served one after the other, all generous and carefully crafted.
The octopus tentacles with broccoli rabe were tender, almost melting in the mouth, and the broccoli rabe were fried in true Neapolitan tradition, pre-cooked without boiling, so they'd be available year-round.
The baby octopus Luciana-style with crostini was one of the highlights of the dinner: flavorful, balanced, perfect. A dish that, honestly, is hard to find even in Naples made this well.
For the first course, a fresh pasta dish with clams, mussels, and scampi: fragrant, perfectly creamed, with fresh, carefully prepared ingredients.
Next, a dry, crispy, and abundant mixed fried fish dish with cod, calamari, shrimp, and anchovies—a thoroughly successful second course.
Even the details are noteworthy. Our table marker bore Sophia Loren's name, alongside Massimo Troisi. All the tables feature icons of Neapolitan culture, with hand-painted stall-style signs: a simple yet authentic and distinctive idea.
The service was attentive, with cutlery changed between courses, a sign of care even in the smallest gestures.
And right here, you understand that this isn't just any business: it's a lifestyle choice.
To run a place like this, private life inevitably merges with work.
And what comes out of it is something that can't be bought or replicated:
authenticity.

La passione della famiglia che gestisce il ristorante è pienamente visibile nelle portate proposte, preparate con attenzione, cura e in quantità abbondante. Ottimi gli antipasti di salumi, i primi con pasta fatta in casa e le deliziose bistecche di vitello (allevato dai proprietari) che si tagliano con la sola forchetta. Eccellente il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Il Rosso e il Nero's cuisine is undoubtedly its strong point. We chose fresh fish dishes, which were very tasty and well-prepared, though not abundant.
The multi-course menu was recommended to us by the owner, Giovanni.
The quality of the ingredients is evident, with fresh fish and well-balanced flavors. One aspect to consider is that, instead of serving individual dishes, the dishes were brought on shared trays. This may not be ideal for those who prefer individual portions, especially in a lunch setting where people have varying appetites. The portions, while not generous, are just satisfactory, but may not be enough for those looking for a more substantial lunch. The drinks were up to par, with a good house Falanghina wine in a jug that paired well with the dishes.
The desserts served at the end of the meal were a welcome addition, although some would have preferred fruit or ice cream.
Coffee and liqueurs were also offered on the menu.
