I went here for lunch during Termoli Comics & Games.
They treated us with great care, even though we were short on time.
The raw seafood was exceptional; I'd never tried the cuttlefish tagliatelle, nor the raw anchovy fillets; everything was excellent and incredibly fresh.
Personally, I was looking for chicory because it's hard to find in Lombardy.
We also had a cooked fish appetizer, calamari gratin with baked potatoes, and other things I can't remember. I didn't take photos of everything because we were so eager to try it, but it was worth it anyway!
The place is also very beautiful, elegant, and well-kept; even the bathrooms are chic.
I'll definitely be back next year!

We had lunch here, two adults and two children. They came to our aid by preparing pasta with scampi for the children, which was very welcome. We had stuffed calamari with rosemary potatoes, delicious; octopus on a cream of chickpeas and chicory that was out of this world (the octopus was spectacular); and a mixed fried fish dish that came with roasted potatoes. With a liter of water and two macchiatos, and considering the quality of the ingredients, the price seems reasonable. The service was very friendly and helpful.

Maybe it wasn't the right day (the chef was busy with a big lunch), but I was disappointed. I ordered hot appetizers and a first course (maybe I didn't know how to choose), but I saw very little fish.
Appetizer: octopus on boiled and mashed potatoes (without salt) and two flans, a fishball, a mussel in sauce, baby cuttlefish with chickpeas (which were quite tasteless), while the gnocchi were salty and the ingredients didn't add any flavor to the dish. The dessert was excellent. The other diners rated the second course of cuttlefish on baked potatoes as good.

With a welcoming, refined atmosphere and a renovated interior a few years ago, L'Opera never disappoints. The cooked appetizers were delicate and delicious. The grilled octopus was a delicacy, artfully presented. The service was impeccable, as always. A perfect place for a pleasant dinner. Thank you!

I returned to Trattoria L'Opera after many years. It was an excellent restaurant and has become even better. The place is welcoming, the staff is courteous and attentive. All the dishes I've tried are truly excellent. I also found the prices to be very reasonable. Definitely worth a try.
