Came here for lunch and had a wonderful culinary experience of pure deliciousness. We were served several courses of homemade, local specialties, one tastier than the other. The chef and owner explained each course, how it’s made and also about its origin. One could tell with how much love and dedication the food was prepared and presented. Thank you, we will never forget this fantastic meal and will definitely come back next time we travel through the area!

I rarely review, but when I do, it's to tell about unique experiences. Filindo welcomed us, earning our trust from the first moment. We were transported by the local flavors of the appetizers, made with local ingredients. Absolutely excellent and always accompanied by an explanation or anecdote. The sweet and bitter liqueurs are absolutely unique. I read in other reviews that they're critical of the manners and the lack of a menu: regarding the manners, it's better to have a genuine and passionate person who doesn't necessarily have to wear a mask of smiling indulgence towards customers, so hasta siempre Filindo; regarding the lack of a menu and prices, just ask and they'll be quoted verbally. This location makes you want to spend a night lulled by the silence and peace.

My wife and I had the pleasure of lunch at Trattoria Borgo Antico in Civita Superiore di Bojano, and we can say without hesitation that it was one of the most sincere and surprising gastronomic experiences of recent times.
We began with a superb appetizer: a selection of top-quality cheeses, ricotta, and cured meats, all strictly organic. Authentic, clean flavors that express the region better than any words could. Each bite was a little journey through Molise tradition.
From one dish to the next, we were accompanied by the genuine warmth of the owner, Filindo, who, together with his son Giacomo, welcomed and pampered us as if we were family guests. A rare treat, made of attention, passion, and a constant smile.
Borgo Antico is more than just a restaurant: it's a place where traditional cuisine becomes an experience, where quality is a promise kept, and where hospitality is a true value.

We popped in for a coffee by chance after exploring the small village of 47 inhabitants. We were drawn to the simplicity of the place and the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner. We decided to stop for lunch. A true gem. Truly exceptional tagliolini with white truffle, incredibly tender tagliata, and excellent baked potatoes. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit.
