Going up the motorway from Barletta towards the North finding myself around 1pm I tell the people with me in the car find a restaurant very close to the motorway they tell me La Cascina Montenero restaurant in Bisaccia we don't know it let's try it. Entering this simple place, it takes us back to the 60s, a clean and warm place with simplicity. We enter and the owner is Mrs. Elena who warmly accepts us and accompanies us to the table simple but with a particular kindness and courtesy as was once customary towards customers, we order a local appetizer, several appetizers are brought to us, from mushrooms and parmesan flakes and rocket to balls of mozzarella and olives, raw ham and various bruschettas which I would already consider as appetizers complete meal with excellent homemade bread. Then I ordered excellent tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles, a very tasty and tasty dish, generous and abundant in quantity for good eaters, my friends homemade gnocchi with meat sauce always large, generous dishes of very homely cooking with genuine flavors and tastes. Ordered some very good house wine. Very honest price in this wonderful farmhouse that takes you back over the years still finding simple places but of great quality in the cuisine and local tradition for people who are not demanding but who appreciate good food. Highly recommended place that does honor to our Italian cuisine.

Discovered this restaurant by chance which offers a vast choice of dishes, pasta, meat, fish, cheese, etc. Tried various courses, and everything was always delicious at prices absolutely accessible to anyone. Amazing value for money! On top of all this, the owner and the waitresses are lovely people.

There were 13 of us at lunch, we ate divinely, some had fried fish, some had grilled fish, some had sea bream, some had sliced ​​fish, different types of side dishes, all good and above all fresh fish, kind and competent staff!

We had dinner and only ordered appetizers and a second course of meat with vegetables. All good. The waitress at the tables was kind, knowledgeable about the characteristics of the dishes and very patient even with those who couldn't decide to order. Si tratta di un locale vintage, servizio eccellente, i cibi serviti erano buoni, vino rosé in brocca buono, prezzo giusto. Se devo trovare un difetto le porzioni erano troppo abbondanti.

Cibo cotto in maniera semplice, ma molto buono con porzioni abbondanti . Primi ottimi, buona ed abbondante anche la frittura di pesce. Servizio eccellente : cortesia e gentilezza .
