14/03/2026: Simple and classic cuisine, but truly well-prepared. Excellent selection of ingredients, as is the wine list. Impeccable service, always attentive and never intrusive. It was my first time at Lanterna, but it certainly won't be my last.

The father's traditional cuisine has been combined with the son's fresh touch, resulting in high-quality dishes with an innovative, youthful, and even crazy twist. Quality ingredients, sometimes perhaps overly flavorful, are used. Generous portions. Prices reflect the quality. Plenty of parking, but in the summer you'll have to walk around a bit to find it. Good wine selection. Expect creativity and friendliness, and a refined and elegant atmosphere.

06/01/2026: A very pleasant experience for a group of 12 in a restaurant that prides itself on its delicious food and hospitality. The staff was young and the atmosphere intimate. The fireplace was a real plus. I also personally appreciated the moderate menu; the appetizers were excellent, as were the meat dishes. We'll definitely return; highly recommended.

21/02/2026: The castle is surrounded by a large wooded park, has a golf course, and convenient parking. We stayed there for three nights. The room, on the second floor, was equipped with all the comforts, including a TV, a mini-fridge (unfortunately, it only had two bottles of water), and free WiFi. It had a large iron canopy bed and a private, crenellated terrace, which, if furnished in warm weather, would certainly be the perfect haven for sunbathing, relaxing, and enjoying bucolic tranquility in complete privacy. The bright, windowed bathroom, equipped with a hairdryer and a generous courtesy kit, has a recessed shower. What I most appreciated was the opportunity to dine in a private room, a true romantic jewel, by candlelight with professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and discreet service. The excellent cuisine offers truly appetizing land and sea dishes that demonstrate the team's expertise and meticulous selection of ingredients. We took advantage of the five-course tasting menu, with matching wines: an experience definitely worth recommending. The extensive wine list pays close attention to local produce, but also includes quality national selections that are unusual, such as the Santus M.C. and the Bonavita rosé, to name just two. There's a significant selection of sparkling wines, and an interesting selection of rosés. The rich and varied breakfast buffet caters to all tastes and needs, a great way to start the day. The property features a terrace, used in the warmer months, with a small infinity pool overlooking the park. The staff is the residence's true asset: courteous, helpful, and eager to accommodate guests' requests. Truly, many compliments. Two modest suggestions—NB, these aren't meant to be criticisms, but rather small suggestions for a location we loved: expand the minibar selection and pay more attention to detail in the rooms. The service was friendly and helpful, and the ambiance with its sea view was absolutely fantastic. Making a reservation is definitely a good idea, as it's always full and the wait can be quite long. 09/03/2026: I was here for my birthday. The location is very reminiscent of a classic seaside trabocco. Being able to eat with the sea in the background is priceless. An intimate, elegant restaurant, with meticulous attention to detail. I really enjoyed the food, the unusual pairings, and the sourcing of excellent ingredients. I found the service impeccable. Giovanni, the young man who served us, was exceptional. He never left a dish without a smile. He truly made us feel at home. Congratulations!

28/02/2026: Every time we pass through Fano we stop at Rustita, a guarantee for eating fish from appetizers to first and second courses. The atmosphere is classic seafood restaurant, very rustic but clean, the service excellent, everyone super cheerful. Excellent quality and price, book in advance, you won't regret it.

The grilled meat is cooked to perfection, and their carbonara is out of this world, both in its enormous portion and its flavor. The owner is a key figure, and you absolutely have to get to know him. The staff is attentive to detail and friendly.

Overall, the food was good (the gnocchi with rib ragù and the meats were excellent, but unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed by the creamy pasta dish and the extremely salty side dishes). The service and atmosphere were good, everyone was very friendly, but unfortunately, the second half of the meal was a bit slow (all the side dishes came out right away, but the meat took a long time to arrive, so we had to eat both at different times). Good coffee. If it helps, cell phone/internet reception is poor to non-existent. The location is lovely and surrounded by nature. Easy parking. We paid €50 each. See you next time.
