You won't find novelty dishes, but you'll find substance and flavor. It's suitable for even large groups, good service, and an "old-fashioned" atmosphere, probably left that way on purpose to emphasize that this is a traditional Lombard osteria. Easy to reach if you arrive from the highway and take the Varese lakefront.

18/10/2025: Disclaimer: I love this place; we come several times a year. I have no complaints about the quality of the food; on the contrary, it's all delicious, and they were incredibly kind because one of the girls had numerous allergies, so they were very accommodating. This time, however, when we went to the cashier to pay (we each wanted to pay for what we'd consumed, and there were four of us, not ten), the owner told us it wasn't possible: "You've had time to sit down," and that we could settle down later. We stayed longer than the reservation time, that's true. It's also true that if a table had been served, we would have gotten up without a problem, but that wasn't the case. So I don't understand this kind of "retaliation." We'll definitely be back because the food and staff are excellent, but this, to be honest, left us a little perplexed.

The owner is very kind and gives you expert advice and colleagues and is very quick to serve you.. Fun place with the right quality / price ratio.. I'll definitely be back!!

27/08/2025: It’s a wonderful little Place where You get good quality food that is super delicious. The people that work there are so loving and welcoming also Zona Franca has a lot of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. I can only recommend it and I would always come back there ! ✨🌼💗🫶🏼

14/10/2025: We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights this September. Actually, only because we have a young dog, and the hotel was advertised as "pet-friendly." What can I say? It was simply fantastic. We were able to move to a different room on the day of arrival, which we had wanted to change because of the dog. The entire staff is super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is simple but delicious, and the dinner is excellent. The whole ambiance is simply a dream! We can 100% recommend this hotel. Our vacation there was a dream. The wide selection of shops and the well-stocked hypermarket are its strong points. The location is strategic, easy to reach, and the free parking is a great plus. In short, the Belforte is a center I recommend for its convenience and variety.

26/09/2025: It was a wonderful discovery and we'll definitely be back. We had the fabulous and incredibly fresh tartare as an appetizer, melting in your mouth. Then we moved on to the mushroom risotto for the first course, which was perfectly creamed. We then continued with a delicious and delicate sliced ​​steak accompanied by a mix of vegetables, which were also delicious. Finally, a dark chocolate cake served with vanilla ice cream and mouth-watering zabaglione. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. Thank you so much for the wonderful dinner. We'll definitely be back!!! Highly recommended.
