03/01/2025: Non avevo mai fatto caso a questo locale sito in posizione alquanto defilata nel quartiere Crenna di Gallarate. Ho mangiato, invece, uno dei migliori risotti della mia vita: risotto con fonduta di cipolla e fagioli, delicatissimo, cremosissimo e profumatissimo. Mia moglie e mio figlio sono stati entusiasti del loro risotto con radicchio e scamorza; come antipasto un tenerissimo carpaccio di magatello. Il tutto innaffiato con dell'ottima birra artiginale. Complimenti vivissimi al proprietario per la eccelsa qualità del cibo, per l'ottimo gusto negli arredi, per la cortesia ormai, purtroppo, d'altri tempi. I prezzi sono contenuti ed alla portata di ogni tasca. Non ho esitazioni a definire questo locale come uno dei migliori di Gallarate.

22/03/2025: I went to this place with a friend, with our four children aged 5, 6 and 7, under the illusion of being able to enjoy a moment of socializing. We chose it specifically because we knew there was a space dedicated to children. We ordered 6 drinks, we were at our table, the children drank and drew for about 20/25 minutes. Then they moved to the play room and we, hoping to have a chat, stood on either side of the access door to this room to keep watch over them (they had thrown one of their toys outside the dedicated space and we immediately took it out of their hands, just as we prevented them from taking the games present there out of the room). After about fifty minutes in total in the restaurant we were approached by the waitress and politely asked to leave because the children were disturbing the other patrons. I pointed out to the waitress that we too had been "harassed" by other people's children who, while we were sitting on the sofa, jumped on the back of our seats and the waitress candidly replied that those children had also been removed (although we had not complained about anything, moreover: if the place is kids friendly, the presence of other children besides one's own is in the natural order of things). And he added that "he had been scolding parents since 3 in the afternoon". Our children were certainly lively and noisy, the playroom does not have completely closed walls and the noise that children make while playing spreads. But I have to say that here there is a short circuit in communication with the customer. If a place offers a space dedicated to children, it gives a signal of welcome and welcome to families and also, precisely, to children. However, if the children (and not just mine, evidently, given that others have previously been a source of disturbance, and in this sense there are also reviews on Tripadvisor) are so annoying for the customers, perhaps the manager should think about removing the play room altogether. Truly an unpleasant experience.

06/03/2025: Fantastic environment, friendly and welcoming. They make you feel at home. Bruno is a legend! The food is truly excellent and the place lends itself to any type of dinner / event. I have been going there for several years now and they have never disappointed me!

11/03/2025: I spent 2 nights at the B&B Postporta, I would like to highlight the family atmosphere that characterizes it. I was able to count on a warm and personal welcome, which made my stay truly special. Furthermore, the restaurant offers delicious cuisine, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, which satisfies the most demanding palates.

16/12/2024: Purtroppo serata deludente.. cena tra amici dell’ultimo minuto. Ristorante carino ma un disastro per quanto riguarda la spiegazione del menù. Abbiamo ordinato una grigliata mista di carne, servita su piastra ma invece ci siamo ritrovati con della carne impanata mista. Per non parlare dei contorni che erano solo verdure miste. Dopo aver detto dell’intolleranza ai peperoni con risposta: in questa cucina peperoni mai entrati! Ci siamo trovati i piatti pieni di peperoni 😢. L’unica cosa positiva che è stata gestita la situazione abbastanza bene. Peccato per lo stomaco mezzo vuoto 😐

The location is really welcoming, with a lively but not too noisy atmosphere, perfect for an evening with friends. The staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to advise on both drinks and appetizers.

23/03/2025: If I could give 0 stars it would still be too little.. entered the place, accompanied to the table with a dirty tablecloth, napkins and cutlery thrown there as if they were going to eat animals, overcooked food and a flavor that you really eat a few times in life "luckily" The icing on the cake comes when describing the service, when a lady at a table near ours kindly asked for a plate, because her son of about 6 years old therefore a child. "who did not make the menu but ate the pizza" to be able to give some mussels "brought to the mother" therefore without asking for surplus from the kitchen, was denied because if they had brought the plate, and I repeat only the plate, they would have made them pay 35 euros for the menu even for the child, after a heated argument the family rightly decided to get up and leave this dump. Never again in life, extremely dirty place, eating like a stable and staff who should be shepherds instead of having a relationship with customers and working in catering, I prefer not to eat than to give my money to incompetents like them.

15/02/2025: Found this place from Michelin guide and really well deserved. The tarte tatin di cipolla rossa was exceptional, well caramelized with crispy crust under, the diaframma di frisona was perfectly medium rare and marinated, and the millefoglie had an interesting flavor from the mix of potato and pumpkin. will come back for dinner because they even have more choice than during lunch
