29/09/2025: I've been going to this restaurant for years and find the food good, with less of a MSG flavor than other similar restaurants. Good value. The fried bread appetizer, always served while you wait for your food, is excellent, and their spicy sauce is top notch. For those who love spicy soup and salt-and-pepper shrimp, they're truly excellent here.
Just be careful: if you don't specify the order in which you'd like your dishes to arrive, everything will arrive more or less at the same time, so half of it will be eaten cold.

04/10/2025: The quality isn't excellent. Too much of everything, and ultimately, everything is mediocre. The sushi is good, the meat and fish are adequate. The first courses are decent. The desserts are awful. This place is best for lunch, as it's more affordable, but in the evening, it's better to go to a traditional restaurant where you'll eat better for the same price.
30/09/2025: Grotta Azzurra in Gallarate is hands down one of the best pizza spots around! 🍕 The pizza is amazing – crispy, tasty, and full of flavor. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Great service, great atmosphere, and definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone. it exceeded all expectations. Grotta Azzurra is undoubtedly a culinary gem in Gallarate and a destination that pizza enthusiasts must visit.

Beautiful rooms, wonderfully fragrant, spotlessly clean, and very welcoming!
Great staff...attentive to our every need and offering great moral support!
Ideal location...across from the hospital and just steps from the city center and all amenities!
We feel right at home even though our home is so many regions away! Coming here was a gift from heaven!

25/08/2025: I go there for breakfast. Cappuccino and homemade brioche with Chantilly cream is my favorite. They hand you your tray with your order and you go to your table. Ask at the cashier because the tipping pig has a leash.

31/07/2025: I loved it! We ordered pizzas for delivery, including a Diavola, which came with Gorgonzola, and I have to say it was spectacular! The service was quick, the pizzas were hot, and the water was freezing cold. The price was good, too. I really enjoyed it.

13/08/2025: We had dinner and ordered two pizzas: one with a thin crust...crumbly...it broke as soon as you touched it, so my wife ate it in little pieces... I chose the one with a sourdough starter...but it wasn't cooked well...there are photos on the walls of pizzas with a high crust, but it had nothing to do with that dish...so many ingredients on the pizza

06/10/2025: Historically a restaurant for truck drivers, it's now run by Chinese, and remains a popular eatery, frequented primarily by workers and seniors.
It also offers a fixed menu priced at €11 for lunch and €12.50 for dinner, which includes a choice of four options: a first course, a second course, a side dish, water, wine, and coffee. The quality isn't exceptional, but it's good, and the portions are generous. The value for money is more than excellent.
Of course, the atmosphere is what it is.

24/07/2025: Provato per un aperitivo veloce, ottima scelta di vini e proprietaria gentilissima. Ho dato un'occhiata anche al menù che sembra completo e meritevole di una nuova visita per la cena. Il posto è molto intimo e accogliente e ben curato nei dettagli, sia all'interno che nel dehor esterno. Prezzo assolutamente contenuto.
25/03/2025: Diciamo che non ci ha entusiasmato.
Che il locale fosse di piccole dimensioni di conseguenza tavoli e sedute molto vicini l’uno all’altro lo sapevamo.
In sala una sola persona a servire probabilmente il proprietario anche se il locale era pieno.
C’erano alcuni fuori menù ma già alle 20:30 quando siamo arrivati erano terminati per cui qualcuno che è arrivato prima ne ha beneficiato a noi non sono nemmeno stati proposti.
Qualità e quantità dei cibi accettabili.
Normale la carta dei vini anche se troviamo i prezzi un po’ elevati.
Secondo noi un po’ troppo caro per quello che offre.
