16/05/2025: A truly unique place! Cerotto Ombra is much more than a restaurant: it is a meeting point where you can breathe authenticity and passion. Relaxed and original atmosphere, with particular furnishings and great attention to detail. Excellent proposals, friendly, nice staff that makes you feel at home right away. If you pass by Chiavenna, it is a must-see!
14/05/2025: Stunning place both inside and out (in summer). Excellent quality food that maintains tradition with a much appreciated innovative touch. I particularly enjoyed the tagliatelle with braised donkey. The staff was very kind and friendly.
Highly recommended!

Correctly cooked (the way I like it) and good taste with high quality ingredients. If there is an opportunity I will definitely return. Highly recommended

02/06/2025: We happened upon this crotto by chance, on our way back from a vacation.
The owner welcomed us right away. The place is very nice, the food is great and the service was excellent.
Everything was delicious, especially the polenta taragna, the pizzoccheri and the typical gnocchetti. Fast service and competitive prices
It deserves a lunch or dinner even in a group.
We will definitely return

Family 2 adults and 2 children. I took veal knot, 2 pizzoccheri, a single appetizer, a large salad, a beer and 1 water. 102 euros. Terrible salad. The rest pretty good. Poor starter for costing 17 euros.

11/05/2025: Let's say that, as far as my experience is concerned, courtesy and affability have certainly not proven to be the prerogative of the owner of the place, that is, of the person who should "welcome" the customers. The lack of internal organization, to the detriment of otherwise correct and polite people, should never be reciprocated with dark looks and hostile attitudes. The mix-up can happen, of course, but you recognize it and try to remedy it. You don't make it worse so you don't admit you were wrong.
16/02/2025: I was present at the inauguration of the restaurant 45 years ago and the wise skill of the chef Scinetti created a widespread network of enthusiastic customers who contributed to maintaining and extending the knowledge of a restaurant with the charm of simple elegance. Naturally over the years the menu has changed several times even if some dishes appear unchanged over the years because they are excellent.
