04/04/2024: Very nice place with friendly and efficient staff. I took the fixed menu and received a tray (just for me) of cured meats, a small one of cheeses, one of jams and a large quantity of fried gnocco. Followed by a really great rib. I was very satisfied with both the quality of the food and the price. Advised!

18/03/2024: I recently stayed in Pavia for a few days and discovered this lovely welcoming place behind the station. On my first evening, after a long day's travel from England, I was delighted to discover such a lovely, friendly locals' joint with very nicely cooked Italian food on offer ( not just pizza!). The staff couldn't have done more to make the experience a pleasant one and the prices were really reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food on offer. I ended up returning for three nights and it was totally worth it.

10/03/2024: I am so glad that we needed to pick up our credential for the Via Francigena at this bar. My husband and I really love natural wines, and we were so pleasantly surprised at the incredible wines we had here. Highly highly recommend.

01/04/2024: We had lunch on Easter Monday, the pleasant climate allowed us to eat outdoors... we sat down at 12.15 but in an instant the place filled every table; the kind and very efficient staff and the owner who had to kindly treat the countless people who wanted to sit but couldn't find a place. We ordered a platter of cold cuts and cheeses and a platter with vegetables and stracciatella... both excellent. The platter with the sauces is pleasant even if not all of them are tasty or have the right consistency.

01/04/2024: Overly expensive and small portions. A sandwich costs 13 euros when it's little more than a sandwich. Disappointing service.

14/03/2024: Ottimi sapori, ed non e affolatto. E anche vicino al ponte coperto. E veramente una scoperta, anche se io mi sono fermata piu di 2 anni a Pavia.

07/04/2024: Decent food, I can say that from a qualitative point of view the food was not of high quality, snails not cleaned well, with a very strong taste, the only point in their advantage was the fast and attentive service and the unlimited drinking including bitters at the table! For the rest nothing exhilarating

02/03/2024: Piatti buoni , ma scarsi come quantità , prezzi non indicati nella carta menù ,alla fine risulteranno elevati 18€ ogni antipasto 18€ ogni primo ,conto finale salatissimo , anche perché mi verranno addebitati 3 primi quando ne abbiamo consumati 2 . Colpa anche mia che non ho controllato. Tornerei in questo locale? Assolutamente no.

01/03/2024: Very nice and characteristic place, very well looked after. Service a little cold in my opinion. Very good risotto with osso buco, cooked to perfection and very tasty. The other dishes are good. Overall I would say a good experience, we will try again to try other dishes.

31/03/2024: From the outside you might initially think it's just a pick-up pizzeria. You can't spot the tables in the back area straight away. But if you get a place, you feel like you're in the middle of the locals. The service is very nice and friendly, even when it's busy! The food is really tasty, both the spaghetti marinara and the spaghetti vongole that we ate. The tables are quite narrow, but we didn't feel cramped but felt very comfortable and left satisfied and full. In addition, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. A clear recommendation in Pavia!

26/03/2024: Anyone who gives 5 stars doesn't know what pizza is. Terrible pizza, thin, flavorless, burnt. Rather incompetent Italian waiter, despite the fact that the pizzeria has been managed the same way for decades, which is clearly getting worse. Customers still come anyway, even if they eat badly.
