18/05/2025: As a guest at a family event, I was able to appreciate the very refined location and the excellent quality and variety of the food. The service was impeccable.

10/04/2025: Splendid place well finished and with a very welcoming atmosphere albeit with a certain elegance. Both the staff and the owner proved to be very kind and extremely helpful even though I had a problem finding parking in the area and was half an hour late. The cuisine was exceptional, with truly exquisite dishes and generous portions, which is why from now on it will be among the fixed destinations of my trips to Milan.

20/03/2025: The first time we came, we had been wanting to come for a few years. Everyone speaks well of it and I confirm that the food is really good. Excellent service, top appetizers, first courses and desserts. Everything cooked on the spot. Really good. It is not cheap but what you spend is right in relation to the location, the service and the quality of the food. Highly recommended!!!

10/05/2025: Excellent! A pleasant surprise! We found ourselves booking a table for my birthday, but no one had realized it was a themed restaurant! Which was very good for us since we came with our granddaughters. The second surprise was the food, which we didn't expect to be so good and varied. A super interesting menu in a place with a somewhat so-so decor, certainly appreciated by the little ones. Very attentive service, perhaps almost too much. Well done, bye.

29/04/2025: If you want to enjoy excellent food in an elegant environment with highly qualified staff, you are in the right place. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. The bread is also the breadsticks, not recently prepared and left to rise by the chef and I assure you that they are crunchy and truly excellent. If I were to invite friends or relatives to dinner I would have no doubts in my choice. And every time each of us came away satisfied. Thank you Mary

22/05/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant, and I was particularly impressed by the menu, the care of the service and the quality of the dishes I ordered. Appetizer tasting of various fish, excellent and perhaps a little too abundant. Second course monkfish Adriatic style!! Excellent in taste, excessive quantity. Regrettably I left half of the portion they served me there. Dessert tiramisu wrong!! Good!!

15/05/2025: I had an excellent four night stay at the Grand Hotel Villa Torretta. I stayed here with family while visiting Milan and the Lake Como area. While it's not in the center of Milan, there is a metro stop about a 10 minute walk away. This will get you to the center of Milan or the train station within 30 minutes or so. This hotel is very charming and definitely has an old world vibe. The overall ambience was elegant and rustic. The breakfast had a large variety of items to choose from and was included for being a Hilton honors diamond member. I booked two rooms and surprisingly both got upgraded with one all the way up to a junior suite. The staff was very professional and friendly especially Stefano who checked us in. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to visit Milan. It's not in the center but it's very accessible. The rates are substantially cheaper and the area is quieter.

12/05/2025: I’ve stayed at this hotel several times, it’s on the northern edge of Milano which makes it handy for Monza and Agrate Brianza. It’s a lovely old villa tastefully converted into a luxury hotel. Rooms are magnificent, breakfast excellent. I’ve now retired but will be passing by in June so I’ve booked a night there.

03/05/2025: Good food, appetizing and filling. The waiters aren't very talkative and don't understand English well, but that's okay. There weren't many people, just one table.

21/05/2025: Given the many positive reviews, I decided to walk 12 minutes just to try their dough. I'm here now and I'm literally enjoying every bite. Very light and crunchy dough, just the way I like it. Finally, vegetables baked by them and not disgusting pickles (like you find everywhere nowadays). The owner is very kind and loving. What can I say? If you're in the area, ABSOLUTELY stop by. You'll be giving yourself a huge treat. Highly recommended!

11/05/2025: Siamo stati un fine settimana a Sesto per un torneo di hockey di nostro figlio. Abbiamo scoperto per caso questo ristorante vicino al palaghiaccio e ci è piaciuto così tanto che ci siamo tornati anche il giorno dopo. Ci hanno dato cena alle 10.45 senza proteste anzi scherzando come ad inizio servizio. Gentilezza, simpatia e cordialità del personale hanno contrassegnato la nostra cena dove abbiamo gustato una tartare di tonno sublime, degli scialatielli divini, una grigliata cotta alla perfezione con il tonno scottato morbido e buonissimo… il giorno dopo abbiamo bissato con paccheri all’astice fantastici, antipasto di gratin buonissimo, una catalana di tonno e gamberi mai assaggiata prima ma comunque strepitosa e un fritto misto asciutto e fresco. Davvero non riesco a capire come non possa avere 5 punti su 5 questo locale… inoltre il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo se si considerano gli ingredienti di alta qualità. Se capiterò da quelle parti tornerò senz’altro, complimenti!

05/05/2025: The first was spectacular...their specialty is pasta with radicchio and speck creamed with Parmigiano Reggiano. The waiter was very kind and professional, a real added value. The second course, mixed grill, was really subdued, hard and stringy... but considering the treatment the super waiter gave us, I can't say it wasn't a good experience.

01/05/2025: We've wanted to go to this restaurant for a long time and today we finally managed for lunch. A slightly disappointing lunch, the dishes were well presented but the flavor was missing that makes them unique, sensational, like a pinch of extra salt wouldn't have been bad before moving on to the second course which was a mixed fried dish that wasn't cooked enough, it didn't have that crunchiness that I remember in a mixed fried dish, an extra minute was definitely there, the squid was very white rather than golden and the squid were hard/rubbery. Furthermore, not having the wine list and not giving the receipt with the excuse that the computer is not working seems like a low blow for a restaurant that considers itself one of the most historic in Sesto San Giovanni.

27/11/2024: What to say about the LUCA TONI bar Perfect location to unwind and drink a good coffee or an aperitif with their friendliness and professionalism, ideal for parties and events, where you can also bet on sporting events. Then there's the piece de resistance......HER!!! SHE who makes you feel at home immediately, SHE who always welcomes you with a smile, SHE who warms you on cold mornings with her unmistakable scent, SHE who is so tireless every day of the week, THANK YOU SO MUCH....... 05/04/2025: Excellent Sicilian pastries, a certainty in the area. When you want to bring a dessert home and make a good impression on guests, it's the ideal place. The cannoli are delicious, the ricotta is fresh. We've been coming for years and every time the owners offer us a tasting pastry. Courtesy and kindness guaranteed. I highly recommend it.

27/02/2025: Excellent Sicilian pastry shop in Cologno Monzese. Always fresh products and kindness of the workers make this place a point of reference for the purchase of Sicilian sweets (and not only). The artisan laboratory behind the shop is a guarantee of the freshness of the products!
