03/12/2024: Saturday evening, dinner with friends at the Dodicivolte restaurant in Mazzo di Rho (next to the church) proved to be a pleasant diversion. The Dodicivolte Restaurant (we go there 1, 2 times a year) offers mainly regional Italian cuisine, not just Lombard, in the modernized tradition of Trattorias and Osterias: therefore meat and fish. I booked this restaurant starting from the link on the restaurant's website, finding it convenient. You receive an email confirming receipt of the booking, you wait for the confirmation which arrives the same day: a small flaw, the guests of the evening are not mentioned: There were 7 of us and you still have a minimum of apprehension. The room created inside an old renovated farmhouse is large and bright, very well looked after and clean. Accessible, among other things, to people in wheelchairs in all its rooms, including the toilets. Overall courteous and professional service, considering that we were on a Saturday evening and the place was full. Overall the experience in the restaurant was excellent, friendly and helpful staff, rustic place reminds us of the trattorias of the past, well looked after. The à la carte menu offers a sufficiently wide but not excessive choice of dishes that could disorientate, well balanced between refinement and innovation, everything is pleasantly in line with the venue. Coming to us, as mentioned there were 7 of us, we drew heavily, differentiating almost all the dishes chosen in such a way as to obtain maximum yield. We started with various appetizers, all of reasonable quality: Burratina with Sicilian caponata of aubergines and peppers - Culaccia with vegetable giardiniera - Boiled chicken in salad with raisins, candied citron and capers - Chicken liver pâté with jams and croutons - yellow lentils on savory tartlet, dried tomato and walnut pesto - Cod creamed in extra virgin olive oil with bruschettas. We then moved on to the second courses, except for one who chose Paccheri with fresh tuna ragout. So Seafood Bake (swordfish, croaker, squid, prawns) with cherry tomatoes, olives and capers - Aromatic sliced ​​beef grilled with soy sauce and rosemary - Beef stew with Barbera, served with Storo polenta - Pork cheeks braised in white wine with polenta from Storo - Grilled tuna steak with oil, soy sauce and toasted sesame seeds. All the dishes were found to be of excellent preparation and excellent quality. Here too a small flaw, the portions are sufficient, no more. Overall a pleasant evening, excellent quality of the dishes chosen although not abundant. Final price, considering 2 bottles of wine,

03/01/2025: We stayed at La Cucina last month and everything was perfect: from the warm welcome to the impeccable service. The dishes are taken care of down to the smallest detail, with authentic flavors and seasonal ingredients. You can see and feel the chef's passion in every course. The bread made by them is exceptional, and the babà has a sweet ending that conquers. A place to feel pampered and live a true gourmet experience. We will definitely be back!

14/01/2025: Dinner on Sunday 12 January 2025. Ancient tavern under new management in a suggestive environment due to the vaulted ceiling of red bricks and pieces of art, not hot enough. Cuisine in equal measure of sea and land with a wide choice, which goes beyond tradition, not always with balance. One diner chose a starter and fish main course, the other meat with a recommended pairing of wine and shared dessert: good execution, decent quality and taste on the palate, generous portions. Excellent service. Decent quality-price (over €50 each). Certainly recommended. Personally I prefer better raw materials, more sober cuisine, an inn in a farmhouse surrounded by nature.

28/12/2024: Comodo parcheggio auto. Si guarda la sostanza! Ottima scelta di piatti e ottimo pesce. Come se pescato al momento! Buona accoglienza . Preparazioni piatti varia al variare dell'affluenza, da tenere presente che sono cucinati al momento! Si compila il menù desiderato si porta in cassa ,se si vuole pesce si passa alla pescheria si sceglie e si indica come cucinarlo; si torna al tavoloe si viene chiamati Col nome del tavolo x ritirare bevande ( al bar ) o piatti preparati al bancone cucina. Si mangia, finito si sparecchiare tutto e si porta nei vari contenitori. Col nome del tavolo si va in cassa e si paga. Piccolo appunto il locale è rumoroso e l'altoparlante con cui vengono chiamati i tavoli ha un volume alto che rende alcune volte difficoltoso capire il nome. Sicuramente ritornerò.

Everything was as good as I remembered! Excellent value for money! Free on-street parking all around! I'll be back for sure! Really recommended

Affordable prices!! I greet the lady who kindly prepared the sandwiches for the concert. Guys if you are around GO THERE!!
