No service, you have to do everything yourself, like a self-service but more chaotic...

The idea of ​​the fish counter where you choose what you want cooked is nice, although since I'm paying by weight, I'd expect them to tell me and show me the weight of my order, which isn't the case. However, the place is excessively chaotic, both due to the customers and especially to the carousel-like announcements of dishes to be collected. They should find another organization that is more respectful of the customers' peace and quiet, which would benefit the experience, which in itself isn't bad. The prices aren't that exceptional, however; a first course and a hot appetizer cost €40, slightly less than the average for a restaurant with table service.

Compared to the past, prices have increased significantly and portions have shrunk significantly. What a shame!

An unusual, out-of-the-ordinary place. Ideal for breaking the mold... The food-quality ratio is right... You serve yourself except for the goodies... you order and pick up everything else... and you can enjoy dinner or lunch in a casual, lively atmosphere... Obviously not suitable for romantic or sophisticated dinners, but highly recommended for the spirit and concept of the place and for spending an evening out of the ordinary.

Tuesday dinner, fish is always a guarantee, a pleasant evening even during the week.

Cologno Monzese restaurant. I should start by saying I went with my family. We had spaghetti with seafood and pasta with clams and cockles, a catalona for the main course, Falanghina wine, beer, water, coffee, and a tiramisu. The staff offered liqueurs, all good and very fresh. The staff was very helpful and friendly. However, there is a but, and I hope it was just us, that the first courses were lukewarm. The catalona (€59), a two-kilogram plate of fish and vegetables, wasn't what you'd expect, as it contained a kilo and a half of cherry tomatoes and various vegetables, and a half-kilo of fish. Still, it was exceptional in flavor and freshness, but for that price, I would have expected a little more. Aside from this inconvenience, I'll be back very soon and recommend it to everyone at least once.
