I hope the owner doesn't get angry given the responses given to the less than excellent feedback.
However, the chef is very good: I found an excellent taste in all the dishes I tasted, from the appetizers to the beef cheek, up to the desserts. The only dish, in my opinion, that could be improved in taste is the spaghettone which I found to have little impact: there was the truffle and you couldn't taste it, there was the fresh yolk and you couldn't taste it.
The problem lies in the portions, which are too small, and in the somewhat anonymous environment.

Describing this restaurant with a review in no way conveys the idea of the journey of emotions that each course arouses. We just have to go there. The chef has the ability to make the mind travel thanks to the refinement of the dishes that surprise with a mix of aromas and taste.
Refined service, but at the same time simple, high professionalism and preparation.
Varied wine list with high quality products.
An absolute must-try is the saffron risotto with 100-month parmesan, pollen and tonka bean, a riot of flavors and a delight for the palate.

All in all a nice experience.
I didn't appreciate the environment very much, for me it was too dark, the dishes are illuminated but it's difficult to see the person in front of you. As for the food, it's not bad, there is certainly a refinement of the flavours, for example the pork cheek is very good. A flavor that I struggled to find in the butter and truffle spaghettone which only tasted of butter.

Gray place in the color of the walls and in the spirit. We get off on the wrong foot when I ask where to leave the coats and they tell me they don't have coat hangers. You have to keep them on the back of the small chair for the entire dinner and even though the restaurant is practically deserted. What an inconvenience!
Furthermore, they place us right on the table next to the only diners in the room, where the paltry distance eliminates any ambition for confidentiality of the conversations. The tablecloths are missing, there are only one on one of the tables, perhaps as an affectation.
The girl who asks us to send the order to the kitchen before allowing us to look at the wine list is surprising. Okay, let's order the first course calling it with the fancy name given by the chef on the menu and... she doesn't know what it is until we describe the contents to her.
At that point we bet that they wouldn't have the wine chosen from their list, which was electronic and therefore very easy to update. Bet won.
In a now disconsolate context, the chef recovers, demonstrating wisdom and imagination in production. The amuse-bouches are pleasant. The bread is made by him, certainly improvable in quality, but varied and making the effort appreciated. But curiously - and it happened to us for the first time - a tasting with oil would only be possible for a fee.
Good dishes with a couple of proposals also of an unexpected gastronomic level and well above average. Too bad the "model" portions weigh down the misalignment of prices compared to the general feeling of the experience. We traveled with an average of 27.5 Euros each, taking an appetizer, two first courses and a second course of meat.
These are values that require a completely different investment in the venue and in the ability to welcome and care for the guest. Otherwise, even if you settle for an entry level wine it becomes a moment to push yourself towards 200 Euros per couple, figures that even the presence of a chef who, like this one, deserves attention cannot justify.

We spent the evening of Valentine's Day, aware that we would enjoy an evening that was not typical of a restaurant, La Cucina is well beyond.
We were super satisfied, the eleven acts of love were an explosion of clear and distinct flavours, elegant and full of character.
They were an experience for the palate.
A non-negligible detail is that there was a 5-year-old boy with us, who was given great care and attention by the owners and the girl who served.
The welcome and pampering of the customer, from the change of cutlery at each course to the presentation of the same with a refined and never predictable design, are their strong point.

First time at this restaurant. My partner and I opted for a tasting menu. We were positively surprised, refined dishes, high quality raw materials, excellent service. We will definitely return, the prices are adequate for the culinary offerings it offers.

Provato la prima volta un paio di anni fa con esito non pienamente positivo. Abbiamo voluto dargli una seconda chance e abbiamo fatto bene. Nuovo chef, location rinnovata. Provato il menù degustazione 7 portate. Un viaggio nell’idea di fine dining di uno chef meticoloso e appassionato che ha appagato il palato. Ottima accoglienza, servizio attento e premuroso. Bravi, meritano. Risotto alla milanese con polline il piatto WOW.
