03/08/2025: I was looking forward to dinner at Veranda and called to book in advance. Unfortunately when I arrived, there was a lot of confusion about my reservation. The security guard wasn’t welcoming or helpful, and instead of being seated at Veranda as I booked, I was sent to the Grill (which is a completely different place, with a different atmosphere and view). No one explained this clearly on the phone when I called, if I knew I got reservation for completely different restaurant I wouldn’t have wasted my time coming here, as on Saturday evening every nice place is booked so it all left me hungry and disappointed, in such high-end places the communication and attitude towards guests (even ones who only come for restaurant) is MUCH better.
02/08/2025: Living on your past reputation. Overpriced. How can you sell a Deluxe Suite without a stall shower? Rooms and baths need a refreshing.

01/08/2025: Warm welcome, quick and attentive service. We particularly enjoyed the tagliolini with missoltini and an excellent lemon and basil sorbet. We'll definitely be back in the cooler months to try the perch risotto.

15/08/2025: This hotel is very good value for money for the area around Lago Como. While not right next to the lake, it is a short walk away from the embarcadere allowing easy planning of day trips on the lake. Rooms are comfortable, personnel is very kind. We highly recommend.

08/07/2025: This was the best food I had the entire time I stayed in Lake como. The sandwiches are so fresh and delicious with so many options and the people who work there are so kind and wonderful. Before we left we got lunch here and each got two sandwiches to take away so we could have them for the next two days!!!

06/06/2025: I confirm the excellent reputation of this restaurant! Abundant dishes, excellent pizzoccheri and beef goulash. Super welcoming staff and fair prices. Too bad the road to get there is very bumpy otherwise I would go every weekend!!

High-quality ingredients, elegant and highly experienced waiters. Very short wait times and courteous and prompt staff.

My favorite dish is shrimp curry and rice.
A word of advice: it's time to send the elderly waiter with white hair into retirement. He pours water with a crooked hand, smears water and wine on the tablecloth, and has a bored demeanor with little attention to the customer. The €15 cover charge requires impeccable service, especially if the waiter is well-groomed. Otherwise, I go to Trattoria Rosetta, and everything is fine because the cover charge is €4.
Otherwise, everything else is fine.

20/08/2025: I booked a room with a balcony through Expedia, but upon arrival, we were told we couldn’t have it because we were staying only one night. The receptionist explained that those rooms are reserved for guests with longer stays.
Additionally, the hotel is clearly short-staffed. Only one person seemed to be handling everything, and she prioritized her own convenience over guests’ experience. For example, although there are lovely outdoor tables with amazing views for breakfast, she refused to let us sit outside, saying it was too difficult for her to serve both inside and outside tables.
The only positives were a clean bed and bathroom, which is why I gave 3 stars. Overall, very disappointing.
14/08/2025: The hotel is right next to the lake, with only a road in between, and the room windows open directly to a beautiful lake view. In front of the hotel, by the lakeside, there are benches where you can enjoy your coffee while watching the sunrise. The owner was such a nice, warm, and attentive person. The building itself is very cute.

05/09/2025: Such a lovely place, the tasting menu was amazing and the education in wine that I had was so much fun, our waitress and sommelier where really attentive, the views where incredible, we will try to visit again in the future
03/09/2025: Food is mid, so for Italy it’s really bad. The views are unbeatable so if you just want the view and drinks it would be great. The service is terrible even when we were expecting Italian views. Prices are stupid high. Don’t go here.

08/08/2025: Cramped room with side view of the lake. Shower cubicle. Room not soundproofed. Very basic breakfast with no local products and scrambled eggs made from powder drowned in water. Well below 4*. Friendly staff. Parking at €15/night
04/08/2025: This place will be etched in my memory for a long time. It has a wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. I can't wait to go back.
