09/03/2026: They welcomed us without having to book, we ate and drank very well, they even gave us a piece of bread produced by them which we had praised.

01/03/2026: We were welcomed with such kindness and genuine warmth. The meal was excellent, thanks to the chef's numerous pizza awards! One of the best places we visited in Italy. It's well worth the trip, both for the delicious flavors and the attentive service. At the end, the chef took the time to explain and demonstrate how he makes his pizzas. Furthermore, the staff is cheerful and makes an effort to be understood, even trying to speak French. Highly recommended!

25/01/2026: A truly wonderful place. Stumbled upon it by chance after walking past several restaurants on the promenade down by the lake, with waiters accosting people to get a table. We didn't like that idea but we were hungry, so we thought we'd just go to the viewpoint before heading down to eat. But then stumbled upon this fantastic little place, it's so perfect and like something from a fantasy. The food was incredible, especially the local pasta dish. Mr Grey was a lovely addition too! Lovely owners and overall just brilliant. My partner and I plan to return there 3rd August 2026 for dinner - I can't get in contact though as you are closed at the moment... Please tell me, will you be open on 3rd August or on some dates close to 3rd August? It's for an anniversary. I'd also love to know about the rooms and costs etc - where is best to find out? We will only be down for a two or three nights, but might like to stay there if possible!

27/12/2025: Simply amazing place with a beautiful view of Lake Como, friendly staff, family run business and great atmosphere. We only had beer and pizza, it was delicious and reasonably priced. A lovely walk from the upper cable car station.

07/12/2025: Good morning, I'm replying to the person who wrote this review. I say you need to learn how to eat. If you've only eaten junk food, it's normal for good food to be unto your liking. I was near their table, but that wasn't the case because the plates were all returned empty. I ate very well, the service was excellent, and the owner was very kind.

27/01/2026: A good option for a pleasant holiday lunch in Brunate. Even during the post-Christmas period, we were able to park for free near the restaurant. The dishes are well-prepared, the menu interesting, though not terribly extensive. The service is friendly and efficient. The view isn't exactly panoramic. The atmosphere is nice, but it could be improved to add a touch of authenticity.

01/01/2026: Go for it without hesitation! Homemade, excellent, and generous cuisine, a friendly atmosphere, pleasant service, and a kind waiter—everything you need for a great time! All this with an incredible view! The bresaola appetizer was delicious, but the ravioli and polenta with gorgonzola were just as good! The quality/quantity/price ratio is very reasonable; you certainly won't leave hungry.

15/03/2026: Bad experience. If you're looking for a quiet place, go and admire the view, but I recommend eating elsewhere. Highly rude staff, mediocre food. Unfortunately, I agree with other customers' reviews: the place has a lot of potential, but the management is shoddy. Not recommended. ——— I'm even more surprised to add that the restaurant owner's response to the review is a horrifying poem to try to excuse herself, everything so inventively exaggerated... 🥳 🤡 🥳

15/02/2026: Breathtaking lake views and a warm welcome. Despite the availability of parking, I decided to take advantage of the beautiful day for a walk with the dogs. It was a bit of a climb on the way back, but it was absolutely enjoyable. I'm grateful for the hospitality and the possibility of having a table that was also comfortable for the dogs (since I'm a Mastiff). As a vegetarian, I had no problem choosing from the menu, despite its concise nature. The location was pleasant, and the lunch was delicious, with a simple and authentic atmosphere. I'll gladly return!

22/12/2025: A wonderful discovery in the mountains of Como. Excellent food and superb service from Laura! The option of karaoke after the meal is also great. The price is average for the place.

14/12/2025: We took the funicular up to Brunate, enjoyed the view from the lighthouse, and then were intrigued by the menu at "la polenteria"

21/02/2026: They changed my day... on an afternoon of existential crisis... when I was angry with the entire world... and disappointed with the way things were going; THEY helped me change my mind!! Personal: Spectacular!! ^_^

19/02/2026: It was a little difficult to get here because of the snow. But the effort was worth it. Food, service, atmosphere, everything was great.

14/06/2025: Vinimos al Bellavista para cenar en nuestra primera noche en Brunate por recomendación de nuestros anfitriones AirBnB, y tuvimos una noche perfecta. El Bellavista es un encantador edificio histórico situado en la parte superior del funicular Brunate, con una vista espectacular desde el restaurante sobre el lago y el valle de abajo. Puede sentarse a su mesa dentro del restaurante junto a las ventanas abiertas mirando hacia fuera mientras come platos locales realmente encantadores - ravioles de percha, lasaña de jabalí, quesos locales y panna cotta y merengues para terminar. Si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo, habríamos venido aquí una segunda vez.

13/06/2025: Disfrutamos de un excelente almuerzo con una hermosa vista del lago de Como. Afortunadamente pudieron llevarnos como un paseo, pero una reserva sería prudente para garantizar una mesa con vistas. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, y los precios eran muy razonables. Una gran opción para el almuerzo o la cena en Como!

14/12/2025: I stopped for lunch after taking the funicular up to Brunate. From the funicular station, I walked up, about 15-20 minutes, and visited the lighthouse. The bartender at the kiosk recommended lunch here, and he was right. I ordered guancialino with polenta, and it was excellent. The homemade carrot cake was a perfect end to lunch. Coffee and water. I spent €38. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. Compliments to the chef!
