30/03/2024: Wonderful hotel and Marco was superb at his job!

29/03/2024: Historic hotel restaurant. Menu with lake fish dishes such as the famous rice and perch (very good) with fish caught directly by the owner in front of the restaurant, so much so that in the courtyard below I can see the nets being used. He returned one last time after asking for a plate of rice with the other portion to take away, he forced me to eat from the double tray, also criticizing the waiter for what I had asked, incredible, I couldn't believe my eyes, astonished, I then ate, unable to digest the rudeness I had suffered. I rightly complained via Wats app to his wife who tried to defend him by climbing on the glass so I said to myself never again! I don't want to see this rude and presumptuous character again! Best wishes to those who decide to go to this place.

03/04/2024: Nice place just outside the centre, average prices considering the location, friendly service, fair portions, average dishes.

02/04/2024: Good food. Staff very helpful and polite. The place is very nice. The restaurant specialises in burgers and pizza. Desserts are ok as well.

24/02/2024: Locale carino, mangiato bene, assaggiato antipasto locale a base di pesce di lago, e due primi, un risotto con pesce persico e dei ravioli ripieni di pesce, cameriere molto gentile e anche il proprietario .

07/01/2024: This was our second visit to this restaurant, and (once again) the food was wonderful, and the beer was cold and delicious! This time we had a little bit of a wait for a table, but the location is so picturesque, right on one of the pedestrian streets up the hill, that we didn’t mind. There were families, groups of friends, couples young and old, and the staff was excellent. There was a bit of drizzle, but we were kept dry under the umbrellas. We have eaten outside on both visits, and we really enjoyed it. I can’t wait to go back!

06/04/2024: Enchanting view, kind and knowledgeable staff, delicious dishes. Considering the density of exclusively tourist venues, La Terrazza was more than a pleasant discovery, it is worth the price of the service it offers. Compliments!

01/09/2023: Lovely relaxing restaurant with nice swimming pools views. Pizza was ok and cheap. The staff was impressively friendly and helpful. The staff served our table spoke English very well. It was fantastic lunch break escaping from hot sun and busy Bellagio. Thanks. Will visit next time.

03/04/2024: Nice little restaurant near the port of bellagio. Very hospitable and authentic. Food was marvellous and one of the best calzones I’ve had. Same goes for the tiramisu. Would highly recommend for a traditional homemade Italian dining experience.

03/04/2024: The cheeses 🧀 were absolutely amazing! They don’t take reservations so make sure you come early to get a table. Service is great.

21/01/2024: Logistically wonderful place. A stunning view. The place is typical and nice in appearance and the food is good. The service is average and fast although the owner could be decidedly more welcoming. The toilets are poor and this is definitely something to improve.

25/02/2024: Bellissimo ristorante con fantastica vista sui Giardini di Villa Melzi. Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione con abbinamento vini. Ottimo il servizio e la presentazione di ogni singolo piatto. Sulla proposta complessiva invece suggerisco di insistere con decisione per un risultato di maggiore carattere. Alcuni piatti sono risultati a mio parere più belli che gustosi. Tra tutto ho apprezzato il dolce, crema catalana con fragole.

05/02/2024: the pizzas were horrific. I've never seen such brown tuna and a seafood pizza with so little seafood. cleaning? zero. dry insects everywhere, dusty lamps and vomiting bathrooms. in the meat display case some things seemed to be fresh, others seemed to be in an advanced state of composition. the waiters kept taking the wrong table for orders and bringing us things from the next table. the sausage on one of the pizzas was undercooked. the highlight of the evening? a small aquarium with a poor goldfish next to the box, abandoned to itself. visit date: 02/09/2023

24/09/2023: Excellent food and experience! I stopped by for lunch while my sisters were shopping, and had a solo meal. It was the most fantastic fish I’d ever had and the wine was fantastic too! Fresh fish, excellent service, wonderful experience. Thank you Roberto and Angelo! If I’m ever in Sorrento again, I will definitely visit this restaurant!

15/09/2023: Superbe moment. On a tout aimé : l’accueil, l’ambiance, la cuisine, même l’addition est très raisonnable. On commence par un cocktail de Campari accompagné d’une Bruchetta à partager. Ensuite les pâtes fraîches, la spécialité de la maison : les raviolis épinards et les tagliatelles à la tomate. Un régal. On finit par les dolce : tirmisú et gâteau chocolat : magnifique. En somme, on recommande chaleureusement.

01/04/2024: Maybe the best spot in Bellagio...but the quality and service did not create any hurrayees. And damn it's difficult to find a taxi back to Como.

03/04/2024: Sweet restaurant near the ferry port. Would say is on the pricier range but the quality of the food is certainly worth it. Staff were nice and attentive. We also stayed in the apartments above which were delightful, with a lovely view of the lake.

01/04/2024: The place is well kept and very stylish. The service is cordial and professional. Unfortunately the food is not at its best as might be expected from the atmosphere and the price tag.

05/12/2023: I must confess that I love sunsets. The Riverside is a kiosk located in Bellagio at the mouth of the Perlo stream. The watercourse has formed a natural beach, obviously made of stones like almost all the beaches on the lake. You can swim (not without a pair of rock shoes, due to the rocks), there is a floating platform for diving and a pier for mooring boats. The panorama is remarkable because you can see Villa Melzi, the village of Bellagio, the center of the lake, Cadenabbia, Villa Carlotta, the Grand Hotel Tremezzo up to Punta Balbianello. Behind, on the other side of the lake, the mountains with spring waters, among which I would like to point out Mount Tremezzo (known as Crocione) and Mount Grona, where a beautiful refuge worthy of a walk stands out: the Menaggio refuge. For those who stop at the beach, the Riverside offers plastic deckchairs (10 euros) and all the refreshments of a bar, from a bottle of water to an aperitif and a light meal. The best thing is to come late, to enjoy the sunset behind the mountains. The staff is kind and friendly, with an open, Milanese courtesy, so different from the suspicious reluctance of the true Bellagini (now almost everywhere replaced by foreigners, at least on the front line). The sore point are the prices, worthy of a white glove bar in the square in Bellagio (or Venice), even if the context is that of a beach of gray pebbles like those of an open-air quarry, but I like it anyway , especially at sunset (I told you that, yes).

19/10/2023: In diesem Strassencafe an der Promenade in der Nähe des Schiffsanlegers hatten wir am frühen Abend Espresso (EUR 3.-) & Drinks (EUR 10.-/12.-), die in Ordnung waren, ebenso der Service, jedoch nichts Besonderes, man beobachtet die Flanierenden und die vermutlich einen selbst.

30/09/2023: The best meal I had in Italy after a week, including the Italian Riviera area. Just wonderfully thought out, executed, and delivered. The poached egg with truffle and the stuffed veal cheek were outstanding, as was the service and, of course, the view. The scallops were also great, and the tuna crudo. A great sensibility to the food and, again, exceptional service. Much appreciated!
