31/08/2024: I've stayed in so many hotels through Italy, and this has to be the worst. As a solo traveller, I am used to paying the same cost as others sharing a room. Firstly, Hotel Silvo put me in the only disabled access room in the hotel - when I booked a double room with a balcony - not the disabled room. Secondly, the drain in the shower was blocked, which I discovered while showering. This resulted in standing in disgusting drain water that pooled in the shower floor. Thirdly, as the room is for disabled access, the shower had a very minimal lip. With the water pooling in the base, it leaked all over the bathroom and out to the bedroom. Fourthly, the only powerpoint with the plug that fits the adapters, was on the floor outside the bathroom. With the water running into to bedroom, all my electronics which were charging got wet. Fifthly, I tried to call the hotel from the phone next to the bed, inly to discover, the phone was not working. Sixthly, I reported to reception the next morning, who was very nice and helpful. However, she couldn't give me another room as the hotel was fully booked. I requested a refund, as this was not the room I paid for and all the drama with the room. Reception asked her manager to which the answer was no, they offered me a free pass to go to the 10 euro beach next door. And lastly, there are no hangers to hang towels, so had to use the shower rail. As the drain is a health and safety issue, as well as not the room I booked, a refund should be expected. Absolutely would never stay here again.

18/08/2024: Hotel Silvio is in a good location, walkable to the town of Bellagio within 20 minutes. Room was clean with great view to Lake Como at a great value. Breakfast was decent enough, it could have used better quality pastry and bread. Service was ok, except for one reception person who called me out on refilling a bottle out of the freezer water offered at reception, she said that was only a welcome drink that were supposed to drink that water only at arrival, which is kinda weird given it’s tap water jug with some lemon and mint. Bedding and bathroom could be upgraded a bit. Note that the restaurant doesn’t offer dinner, just some small menu items. overall, we enjoyed it.

04/09/2024: Lunch taken on the terrace after being refused by several restaurants due to non-reservations. We went there a little out of spite and in the end we were not disappointed. Fast and impeccable service. Dishes served with a smile. And perfectly decent cuisine for a reasonable price in this ultra-touristy place.

03/09/2024: We went in the evening to eat tiramisu, it was simply incredibly delicious. No wonder the waiter said that he is the best in Belagio.

07/08/2024: A little disappointed with the restaurant. I had the pesto pasta and the pesto wasn't fresh, so pesto in a jar... it wasn't very good. Nothing exceptional but it's okay. But perfect pasta cooking. Very nice waiter and spoke to us in French.

07/08/2024: I had pasta and it was very good, maybe a little expensive for what it is, but considering the prices of the surrounding restaurants it wasn't much! I recommend for pasta, but for pizzas and hamburgers go your way

21/08/2024: Great restaurant! Delicious food and affordable prices. Open at selected hours. In season, queues to enter.

19/08/2024: I was very disappointed with my dish, sold as "a mixture of cold meats and vegetables". In the end, it was cold meats and two bites of pickled vegetables. 15 euros for this dish, I found it to be a scam. Luckily, the tiramisu spiced up the meal a bit, but it wasn't the best I've ever had either.

30/08/2024: Best pizza & carbonara we had in Bellagio! We ate here twice. It gets busy here!

29/08/2024: Probably the best Buffalina pizza I've ever had. The tiramisu was also very good. Can highly recommend the restaurant. However, you should arrive before 12:00 p.m. as the restaurant fills up very quickly and a queue forms.

10/07/2024: The food was a 5/10 but the service was horrible. Sat there for an hour and they served other people with bigger groups who had got there long after us before they served us. The only difference between us and the people who were served is that me and my sister are both half Asian. To apologize for this terrible service, they gave us a complimentary drink, which we drank without knowing it was alcohol, which should’ve been told to us because we are Muslims who don’t drink alcohol and were below the drinking age.

08/07/2024: Mid overpriced food. Similar to a lot of restaurants in Bellagio it’s a tourist trap. Have had better “homemade” lasagna from the frozen section at Lidl

23/03/2024: Location per la posizione splendida Non consiglio per la ristorazione....carta limitata cibo da Mensa aziendale con prezzi elevati per il tipo di cucina... . Il personale gentile......

03/08/2024: Friendly staff in a lovely setting. Ate under a grape arbor with grapes hanging. The vegetable soup was actually 3 types of soup -zucchini and carrot served warm then a cold soup-amazing-all grown in their garden but the show stopper was the truffle risotto with truffles found by their truffle dog Charlotte. We also did the wine pairing. All outstanding-do not miss!

01/08/2024: Family owned, incredible chef! Chef Luigi, his wife Camila and their team will treat you like family! From the scenic ride (pick up), to the garden tour, to truffle hunting (with Secundo - 85 year old expert - and his dog Eddy), the cooking class and ending with a delicious meal…there is truly no experience like it. This 4.5 hour experience was exactly what we were looking for to get the true culture of Lake Como and the city of Bellagio from a true locals point of view.

20/08/2024: All the food is frozen or pre-cooked, they don't have a kitchen, you can see the frozen pizzas and how they heat them right away, it's shameful what they charge and how they deceive customers. In addition, the prices are expensive, it takes half an hour to serve you and there are 4 waitresses watching, while the “cook” heats up the frozen pizzas and lasagnas. I add photos of the frozen pizza and lasagna, there you have your “kitchen”, for those who don't believe it, and whoever goes, show them the wood oven 😂 I hope people stop going and don't cheat anymore.

15/08/2024: Great address! With a crowd of people and well they were willing to take us! We were on the small terrace behind, quiet. Very good dishes and at reasonable prices. It’s probably trays but it’s still good and not expensive! So it’s up to you to choose!! The staff is very friendly! Thanks everyone!

16/08/2024: Nice place in a strategic point of Porto Cesareo...mediocre pizza but one particular negative note is on the wait staff obviously not all...but for the older ones yes!!! They should learn to be more polite because rudeness reigns.

16/08/2024: It’s a very nice, tiny place. Service is nice, food too. Not sure why it’s marked as expensive. It’s not. At all. Portions are small though. Full of foreigners. The only con is that expectations are so high due to their stellar reputation that it’s basically impossible for them to live up to them 🙃.

10/08/2024: I was genuinely looking forward to revisiting this restaurant, having had such a wonderful experience a year ago. This time, I brought my whole family, hoping to recreate those fond memories, but unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. The service was disappointingly poor, with the waitstaff displaying a rude demeanor that left us feeling unwelcome. To make matters worse, the man in white, who I assumed was the host, responded to our simple request to take our order with an unnecessarily snappy tone. It was disheartening to see such a decline in service quality, especially when we had anticipated an enjoyable evening together.

10/08/2024: Positioned beautifully on the foreshore stretch of the main town, this restaurant appears to have charm and class however what was served on our plates tasted worse than what our local supermarket serves as microwave meals. Such a shame in such an idyllic location. Service was also very unfriendly and unprofessional.

03/07/2024: Great little restaurant with incredible views. Sometimes a bit understaffed but not their fault and they try very hard . We ate here a few times while in San Giovanni and were very happy.

26/08/2024: I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t have any, it was early morning so atmosphere once again wasn’t great but I can’t negatively comment for that either. The pool was Dirty, they told me there was a party the night before with people drinking in the pool, however the dirt and grime build up made me think this wasn’t the sole contributor of the problem, none of the chairs sun visors stay up they need to be tightened with a certain key however the staff didn’t have this key, the women who worked there were lovely and issued me a refund for the entry I paid for the pool so I have to say the service was good as far as i am concerned it just seems like this place was opened and had minimal time effort and money put into it. Simply there to reap the rewards of a full summer of tourism in Bellagio.

04/08/2024: Prices for day beds and umbrellas are okay and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately the food is a disaster (especially the warm meals). We ordered two different pasta dishes. Both seemed like microwave meals and arrived cold at our table. The pictures online are totally misleading and in no way represent the actual dishes served. If you decide to come here I recommend to come here without ordering food.
