Nice place, good menu, fair prices and attentive service

We ate really well, particularly enjoying the lake fish appetizers and the char for the main course. The place is well-maintained, charming, and peaceful, offering shade and fresh air on hot days. The staff was exceptionally kind, bringing us boiling water and breadcrumbs to add to our 8-month-old's food and even offering to wash her plate (brought from home) after the meal. Highly recommended!

Some restaurants stay with you not only because of the food, but because of the story that led you there. This was one of them. Back in 2019, while I was staying in Lugano, I used to end my evenings with a nightcap at the hotel bar and chat with the bartender. The guy working the late shifts was from Bellagio, and one night when I told him I was planning a day trip there, he wrote down the address of his cousin's restaurant, Ristorante Antico Pozzo. A few days later, after wandering through Bellagio's streets, we found Antico Pozzo and stopped for lunch. We ordered a pizza, pasta, a Caesar salad, with local Valtellina wine, and it turned into one of the most memorable meals I've had. The pizza was my first introduction to a pie served uncut. Coming from a place where pizzas almost always arrive pre-sliced, it felt traditional and somehow made the experience even more memorable. The pasta was generously coated in fragrant olive oil—far richer than I had ever experienced before. Combined with the wine, it was even more satisfying. One of those meals that made me understand why Italians love their cuisine so much: simple ingredients prepared with confidence. The restaurant's courtyard completed the experience. Sitting there, watching locals and visitors stroll past, felt like a scene out of an Italian film. There was no rush, just food and wine. Looking back, this was perhaps the most Italian meal I've ever had. It was a lunch to remember.

Great food, the staff were super nice

Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. The food was mid. I got the fish ravioli with saffron sauce and I did not like it at all. I did try the mushroom steak and it was really good though. I also didn’t like the pizza that much. Overall it was a good experience, but not worth it to me.

I ordered ravioli, unfortunately the sauce was very weak, as if it was made from powder, I do not recommend it, my friend ordered lasagna and it also tasted weak, look for another place

A resounding success! We came as a group of five and had a wonderful time. The servers were very friendly and efficient, and the terrace was lovely in this heat. Thank you for this excellent time with friends!

Pleasant terrace, decent service, good food. The downside is that the prices are too high for the dishes, and, surprisingly, they charge €4 for cutlery! Be aware that if you order bread or water, it's probably extra. The bill quickly adds up compared to the prices on the menu, especially if you're tempted by wine and dessert. We saw some Italians at the next table ordering just a main course and a drink.

Tourist restaurant. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, but the food is nothing special. Recommendation - to renovate and maintain the toilet more.
