17/11/2025: DON'T ORDER FISH. I don't know what the pizzas are like, but the fish... We ordered octopus stew, which was practically nothing like stew; it was just full-bodied tomato and olives. The seafood scialatelli had cold, unshelled mussels. There were only two cherry tomato halves in total, and they weren't sautéed properly; you could basically just taste the pasta (a pasta with oil would be better). The first course, "Profumo d'estate," was a plate of pasta with tomato sauce (tomato puree) with stracciatella and 3 raw shrimp, and it had a lemony aftertaste that didn't go well with the tomato at all. They also weren't very quick with the deliveries, even though everyone ordered pizza and very few ordered dishes from the kitchen.

10/11/2025: After visiting several venues, we decided to choose this as our wedding reception venue because, unlike other venues, they conveyed the attention to detail and the family-run spirit that immediately made us feel at home. In addition to the immediately apparent beauty, we were enchanted by the vast expanse of greenery, the beautiful fountain, and the vibrant colors that immediately pop as soon as you enter the courtyard. After choosing the venue (we saw two of the four given the number of our guests), we focused on the menu, where we were again pleasantly surprised by the quality of the offerings, using locally sourced ingredients. The wedding cake was also made in-house by the restaurant, without relying on outside pastry shops. This was greatly appreciated by us and our guests, as was all the rest of the food we ate on our big day, which met all our expectations. We highly recommend spending your big day here, because finding experience and professionalism combined with a love for your work is by no means a given these days. Thank you again for being with us on the most beautiful day of our lives.

15/10/2025: I know the area very well. The park is wonderful. This time, the lunch didn't meet the standards given the tiny portions, dishes arriving cold at the table, and dishes forgotten in the kitchen. There were extremely long waits throughout the service, with confused waiters who clearly lacked training. The short-haired, glasses-wearing lady assigned to our table proved to be rude and lacking in empathy throughout the day (we stayed at the table for 5 hours).

16/11/2025: Excellent food, but the staff is unprofessional and uninformed. The mixed grill was truly lacking in both quantity and quality. The prices were exorbitant, with a cover charge of €4.50. We won't be returning.

06/11/2025: What can I say? A very warm and welcoming place. Impeccable service. The quality of the food is very high. I had a wonderful evening eating and drinking very well. I highly recommend it.

16/07/2025: ci veniamo spesso con amici, grandi tavolate di solito. il cibo è da agriturismo quindi casereccio ma buono, porzioni normali e tutto sommato usciamo sempre soddisfatti. a volte capita l imprevisto o che magari la grigliata sia un po dura perchè preparata un po prima.. ma metto 5 stelle perche mi sembra sia l ultimo posto nel quale si possa mangiare ad un prezzo accessibile a tutti. un primo a 8 euro e un secondo a 10 non lo vedevo da anni. locale ampio e spazioso servizio non sempre perfetto ma le ragazze sono sempre molto gentili e pazienti

21/09/2025: Today we went to eat at Ludo's restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming and reassuring. We had two pleasant surprises: The first was the dishes, traditional yet prepared with modern techniques, with unique flavor combinations and textures. The second was the courtesy and helpfulness of the chef and his wife, who advised us and also had the patience to explain the dishes and answer our questions. We were truly satisfied and will return at the first opportunity. Thank you.

02/11/2025: A small bakery in Montichiari, I was very satisfied. A wide selection of sweet and savory items, and the focaccia is delicious. It's a shame the place is so small and always packed.

02/11/2025: Easy to get to. It's also a hotel. Here you can rediscover the flavors of yesteryear, expertly prepared. A wide selection of first and second courses; I enjoyed the tripe, which was truly delicious, and the snails, which were delicate and delicious; others enjoyed the cod with polenta, a very pleasant delicate dish, and pennette with salmon. There's an extensive menu of homemade desserts, but the walnut cake is special. The friendly and attentive staff offers excellent service. The prices are fair and affordable. Worth a stop for both lunch and dinner. Bravo!

29/10/2025: The place remains unchanged since the 1960s and 1970s. They haven't changed anything, not even the chairs, which are now completely gone. The bathroom is missing hand soap. The welcome hasn't left the door. But let's get to the meal: the first course was completely overcooked pasta, while the second course was very good, based on fish. For a quick business lunch, it's okay at 15 euros, without any expectations.

19/11/2025: I often go to Salamensa for breakfast, and over the past few months, I have to admit that my experience has become increasingly disappointing. The format is different from the typical cafeteria: it's a self-service cafeteria, so there's a high turnover of customers. For this very reason, however, I expect greater attention to cleanliness. I often find dirty tables and floors covered in crumbs, sugar, and other debris, with no one consistently cleaning up. Considering that the prices are the same as traditional table service, I'd expect at least an equivalent level of care. Another critical point for me is the wait: on average, it takes at least 20 minutes to line up just to get a tray and sit down. There are more people serving—someone handling the pastries, some at the cash register, some overseeing the savory portion—but in the cafeteria, where the slowest work takes place (coffee, cappuccino, latte, etc.), there's almost always only one person. With a long line, this inevitably slows everything down. Furthermore, the coffee machine is quite dated: today, there are much faster and more efficient solutions without compromising quality. When Cristina is there, the situation improves significantly, but I still think that a place of this caliber deserves more careful management of flow and service. I'm surprised that Mino, whom I consider an expert in the field, doesn't grasp these aspects: it would be enough to visit the place during peak hours, observe and listen to customers queuing or seated. Lately, it also seems to me that the quality of the pastries and drinks has changed a bit: perhaps it's simply my palate, but I perceive a less convincing taste than in the past. 18/08/2025: Discovered by chance, this ice cream shop stole my heart. So many flavors to choose from, some classics but others very original, all well-crafted and satisfying. Real fruit granitas, ice cream cakes, and the friendliness of the people who work there won me over. Excellent and professional. 👏👏👏👏 Congratulations. Highly recommended.
