Good food, quick and friendly service, beautiful mountain views, clean facilities.
Excellent value for money. I would go back.

21/02/2026: I'm giving it two stars because neither the website nor Google Maps lead to a closed gate with no sign.

When I called to book, probably because it was close to closing time (around 8:00 PM), I wasn't given any specific directions.
When I arrived at the spot in the photo around 8:30 PM (the time of my reservation), I tried calling back (three times) to find out the exact location of the entrance, but I didn't receive a response.
13/02/2026: We had lunch at this very welcoming restaurant in a lovely, beautiful location, just above a small lake. Excellent service and a great customer service. Dishes are carefully prepared and expertly prepared. The ingredients are top-quality, mostly local. We'll be back.

02/01/2025: Sono tanti anni che vengo a colle vareno… finalmente un nuovo posto dove fare una pausa pranzo in linea con le tradizioni.
Abbiamo mangiato in una casetta tutta in legno, pochi posti, una sala molto riservata dal panorama mozzafiato. Abbiamo assaggiato il tagliere, ottimi prodotti e i magnifici casoncelli, questa volta fatti in casa, impossibile non accorgesene, strepitosi.
Prezzi onesti e piatti tradizionalissimi. Grazie per l’esperienza!
