12/07/2024: The history of stracciatella dates back to the 18th century in Bergamo’s Citta Alta with a place called Bettolina After World War I, it was replaced by a café named “La Marianna” where the owner first pioneered stracciatella ice cream. So thats what we went to try - good flavour and texture. It's busy given its popularity but we found some seating.

28/05/2024: Great spot to have a break from strolling around Bergamo. We had some cocktails, nothing special, not very strong in alcohol but the little garden offers you the space to relax. The two girls that served us were both very friendly

14/05/2024: Il cibo è discreto, ma non basta! L’ambiente pur essendo carino è glaciale. Il personale scostante e scortese, incomprensibilmente sostenuto. Porzioni minimal ad anche la pasta in bianco per i bambini mignon. Ogni 3 anni circa lo riprovo ma le aspettative vengono sempre deluse.

11/06/2024: Abbiamo organizzato qui il rinfresco dopo il nostro matrimonio. È stato tutto bellissimo: dalla location, che offre spazi adeguati alla circostanza oltre ad una vista meravigliosa su città alta, al buffet, abbondante e di ottima qualità come confermato anche dagli invitati il cui feedback è stato unanime. Efficientissimo Mirko che ha organizzato tutto per incontrare i nostri gusti e desideri, supportato da personale corretto e professionale.

20/03/2024: Bar gelateria nella piazzetta, con posti anche all'esterno, personale non molto cordiale e gelato peggiorato rispetto lo scorso anno, sembrava vecchio... Peccato!

09/08/2024: The waitress who served us was rude, frustrated. We immediately lost the desire to sit in the restaurant. We ordered coffee, when the lady brought it she immediately asked us to pay for it. We felt as if in the waiter's opinion we wanted to escape without paying the bill. We did not feel this way during our entire vacation in Italy

27/08/2024: A nice place to stay overnight while exploring the area. The conditions are ok for Italian standards. The breakfast buffet, a large selection of dishes, and very nice and helpful staff were a pleasant surprise.

25/08/2024: VERY NOISY air conditioning, no manager to talk to for problems. The hotel is managed by two very young people and no one in charge stopped by to express our complaints. In my opinion it was done on purpose because everyone complains. Not recommended, I went for work with my family and we were unable to rest. Breakfast practically all in sachets and packaged, there is no Nutella. There is no real espresso coffee, it's all machine-made. They don't even make you an egg, no bacon, there was no water. Real orange juice costs 5 euros separately but there were no oranges and the machine was turned off. The 4 star is truly a gift as it is the most expensive in the area for me it is a simple 2 star. Very unhappy one night 293.50 with dinner for 2 adults and two children, not very recommendable place in the powder rooms under the bedside tables, be careful not to drop a pillow, risk badly. Quadruple room created from an attic with very small windows resting on tiles VERY DIRTY with bat poop. Not recommended even for Halloween. Total disaster don't go there for any reason trust this real review

09/05/2024: Tout petit restaurant juste à côté de l’académie carrare, avec des plats fait maison et servis avec gentillesse et sourire par Monica et rosy. Risotto, Casoncelli, torta di mele.. tout est excellent. Je reccomande. Piccolissimo ristorantino proprio accanto all'Accademia Carrara, con piatti fatti in casa serviti con gentilezza e sorriso da Monica e Rosy. Risotto, Casoncelli, torta di mele... tutto ottimo. Raccomando. Very small restaurant right next to the Carrara Academy, with homemade dishes served with kindness and a smile by Monica and Rosy. Risotto, Casoncelli, torta di mele... everything is excellent. I recommend.

30/08/2024: Historic and prestigious pastry shop in the lower city of Bergamo, good quality products (although I have better memories). The service is discreet. Unfortunately, both the cleanliness in general and the bathrooms specifically leave something to be desired. The bathrooms themselves are not adequately maintained, from the doors without handles to the encrusted sinks. It can be improved!
